Sarah Carey is the editor of Everyday Food magazine and her job is to come up with the best ways to make fast, delicious food at home. But she’s also a mom to two hungry kids, so the question “What’s for dinner?” is never far from her mind — or theirs, it seems! Her days can get crazy busy (whose don’t?), so these videos are all about her favorite fast, fresh meals — and the tricks she uses to make it all SO much easier.

I’ll assemble my favorites from traditional antipasto foods to create a dinner for one. Particularly good on evenings when the weather is simply too hot to use the stove.

I love antipastos and think they’re great. But I think they’re underappreciated considering how much they cost.

How much do you think something like this would cost to put together? It looks SO delicious and beautiful and I would love to do it, but I don’t want to spend too much money on the appetizers. Rough estimate in American dollars would be really helpful! Thank you!

Love love love a good antipasto! Cubed gently roasted eggplant or tomato is a lovely addition. And, do cut the roasted red peppers into bite-sized pieces, no one ever thinks to do that, and they can be quite messy otherwise.

  32. Eve Nieves on December 3, 2021 at 10:54 pm

    Merry Christmas Sarah 💓

You know Sarah I love this video but, and it may be just me, how do people eat this. Do you use small utensils or toothpicks and small plates. I’d like to see maybe things like that and including opening and serving champagne
