Today we are looking at an underappreciated dive watch, the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver. It’s one that I think gets overlooked but it definitely deserves some attention.

Nice to see an interesting watch for a change. Good review.

Incredible looking square diver! The lines are perfect and it’s well proportioned. This all black version looks cool, and I also like the fully lumed dial variation. Out of my price range, but these are nice to admire from afar!

Bell & Ross is a French brand NOT a Swiss one! The name is the contraction of the names of the founders who are French: Bruno Belamich (Bell) and Carlos A. Rosillo (Ross). It all started in Paris but, yes, the B&R watches are now manufactured in Switzerland.

too bad they didn’t go as far as having a fifth filosophy which would have been affordability

  7. Daijobustory on November 4, 2021 at 9:27 pm

Direct comparison to this would be lower-mid tier swatch group dive models from brand like Tissot Hamilton Rado except those are equipped with better ETA movements for fraction of the price. I like BR designs but their price are absurd you can get great watches with real in house movement like Tudor or GS for that price.

I actually think this looks awesome , but my god the price . I was expecting around 2000-2500 .

  9. Derek Shearer on November 4, 2021 at 9:33 pm

    Great vid. Cool watch.

B&R is too greedy. Saying that is more affordable compared to Submariner or Seamaster is a ridiculous comparison. It is also cheaper than Glashutte, Blancpain, Grand Seiko, but there is no possible comparison.

  11. Alex MacKenzie on November 4, 2021 at 9:38 pm

Just an observation… I own 2 B&R watches, looking at adding a 3rd to the collection. The two I have, the WWII Regulateur and the WWI 97 Heritage, keep almost perfect time. Better than COSC at ~1 second a day. The only watch I have in my collection that does any better is my GS. These might be stock ETA/Sellita movements, but to compare them to lower tier watches with the same movement is simply not a fair comparison.

  12. Christopher on November 4, 2021 at 9:39 pm

I’m fairly certain this is made of ceramic and not PVD coated.

  13. Drone Master on November 4, 2021 at 9:40 pm

That’s a ceramic case, “not black PVD.”

  14. Seamus Muldoon on November 4, 2021 at 9:41 pm

    Looks great!

  15. Marcus Dorn on November 4, 2021 at 9:42 pm

    Not a nice watch imo!

Great video on a cool looking diver. Nice job Guy!

  18. Junior Johnson on November 4, 2021 at 9:50 pm

I would prefer the date at Six . Good review 👍

  19. Gareth Sigrist on November 4, 2021 at 9:51 pm

    Great review as always 👍

Bell & Ross are a brand that have been on my radar for a while. I really like their designs a lot but I can’t help but feel they’re priced just a little higher than would be ideal. At least where I am they’re closer to Tudor money than Oris for instance.

  20. Badger Jeff on November 4, 2021 at 9:51 pm

Nice review. I don’t see many B&R reviews much these days!

  21. Shipmate on November 4, 2021 at 9:52 pm

The watch is named after the ETA 2892 movement that it used to have… awkward that it now uses a knock-off Sellita movement

  22. Steve Fox on November 4, 2021 at 9:53 pm

Much prefer this to the Tudors myself, much more individual. Thanks 👍🏻👍🏻

  23. karbz_ on November 4, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Amazing watch! Ive had mine for over a year, thats the longest a watch has survived in my collection. The ceramic case is literally impossible to scratch, so i often grab this watch when doing something that could possibly scratch my much cheaper stainless steel pieces..

  24. Mike R on November 4, 2021 at 9:58 pm

    That’s a great looking Seiko Homage 😎

  25. Bradley Posey on November 4, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Thank you for this review! This is one of the nicest looking watches I’ve ever seen. But, I actually prefer the same model with the "Khaki" (Olive) dial. I only wish I could afford one!

  26. Bugster987 on November 4, 2021 at 9:58 pm

Well this makes a refreshing change. Nice.
