The best prices on AK-47 parts by a long shot are from a company on Gun Broker called spectresupply2.

I do consider myself an AK guy, however, I have no desire to build one, only the knowledge to repair

Those are some nice rifles. I love the AK!! I chose to have the builder leave the original “blued” finish on my Circle 11 parts kit alone and simply match my Childers Polish receiver and FB Radom barrel to the original finish on the kit.

Awesome video. I got my first AR couple years ago. Carried one for nearly 16 years many moons ago. Had an SKS years ago and sold it, kicking myself for lack of insight. Now I’m looking for an AK. Thanks for the information on the kits.

I was watching videos by ginsboy2003 about ak builds and ive always wanted to build a rifle, I did notice according to his activity that it seems like he doesn’t visit youtube much, so I came here knowing youre knowledgeable and on youtube often to ask a question or two, first I am looking into my first ak47 and I’m under the impression the good rifles include, Bulgarian, Russian, arsenal. not in that order. would you agree? and could you recommend a forum I could become a member of to learn about the ak47? I know theres a thousand variations of the rifle and id like to learn as much as I can about the rifle so I can make an educated decision on what to buy first, so later I can build one also. Thanks

MAC What do you consider is the best country of origin for kits when considering price and availablility? Not necessarily looking for a collector’s piece, moreover a quality budget kit for my first AK build.

    922r?? Or not

  26. Troop160 on November 11, 2021 at 7:43 pm

The early imports (pre-mid 90’s) were the real deal, and you can still find them for great prices. These Frankengun kits of mish-mashed parts, with their cheesy Egyptian writing on them just have no real value. Fun to shoot, but just not worth much.

  28. Matt on November 11, 2021 at 7:46 pm

put some tannerite on that ice that would be more fun lol

  29. J.L.H on November 11, 2021 at 7:46 pm

Wouldn’t you be getting some used beat up parts that are about to start causing failure to feed or die out from parts kits builds like the barrels, bolts, etc..? I’m new to the ak parts kit and building stuff but it makes me wonder because I rather have new parts on my AR build instead of 2nd hand used and abused AR parts when making an AR build
