I believe your issue is gassing. Everyone I know has had problems with Radical Firearms and that was always the problem. They must not know how to tune their rifles or don’t care that they don’t run out of the box🤦🏻‍♂️ Hopefully you went with PSA. I’ve had great experience with their uppers and lowers👍🏽
Get a stronger extractor spring had the same problem and that fixed it.

Are you buying P-mag knock-off mags off of Ebay? Or did you get these as hand-me-downs from Smeggie? Try some other magazine brands; they’re cheap and it will give you something else to review. Start with the brand that Radical Firearms provides.
Change your ammo. that looks like Tulammo which SUCKS for ar’s
I believe you are under gassed. Is it a pistol length gas system or carbine length? Try putting an adjustable gas block on it. The only other thing you could look at is changing out the buffer and spring to a lighter set. Steel vs brass isn’t the issue. More than likely the steel is running less pressure than the brass.
Ive ran thousands of rounds of different brand brass all đź’Ż%. The steel cased was always the problem for all of my ars! I just threw away almost 400 rds. I also threw away perfectly good mags because it caused so many different problems. Definitely dont use steel cased to break in its đź’©!
I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want you to have more control over your gun. I guess spray and pray is better 🙄

Garbage from China buy America is 20$ is to much to spend on a piece of equipment that you take the time to video, produce edit and present and you put up a turd for people to see,. Chinese products use inferior plastic that will splinter if actually used in a realistic environment the design was intended for and hurt the user.
2 things, .1 polish the chamber not just the feed ramps, with steel cased ammo and radicals chambers they can be a little sticky and get hung up with steel cased ammo, this can cause it to short stroke which is what was happening to you in this video, and why the brass ran just fine, 2nd thing is tula is a little weaker then most brass cased ammo, this mixed with the stickiness of the chamber when running steel case is why your short stroking every now and then and having issues with steel cased ammo, take a brass chamber brush, put a patch over it, use some baking soda toothpaste or valve grinding compound or mothers polish etc and take a drill and polish that chamber for a couple minutes till it looks like a mirror, this will solve your issues travis guaranteed, as i also have a radical 10.5" and had to do the same thing to it to get it to run both steel case and brass, also i only run a 3oz buffer and no H buffer in my radical i am not positive but i believe that radicals gas port may be a hair on the small side.

coated shells in an AR ? uchy, uchy. BRASS is great . I have these angle grips on 3 rifles and love them.(2 magpul ,1 is a amaz cheapy , still great. NO MORE STEEL SHELLS DANGIT
Put that Shockwave on your shoulder! In my experience not shouldering an ar15, it will cause the gun not to cycle properly. The bolt’s momentum gets used to move the gun rearward and loses its energy which then causes feeding issues. It can also cause extraction issues. The bolt won’t fully unlock and move rearward if you let the gun move rearward too quickly. With brass it doesn’t matter as much. Steel cased ammo just creates so much friction, it needs a perfectly functioning gun to work properly. Wolf is great, Tulammo won’t work in any of my ar15’s or my mini 14.
Fyi: The Shockwave brace also comes with its own from the atf now when you purchase one
Remove the handguard and loosen the gas block, check to make sure the gas port is aligned with the hole in the gas block. It appears as though your gas block is slightly out of alignment. That is most likely your feeding problem, undergassed
Bcm enchanced ejector kit for $10 will fix that.
what led sled do you recommend thats affordable?
Will the bolt lock back when empty with steel case? It may be under gassed if it runs ok with brass. The other comments about a ruff chamber may also be correct. If it’s a factory complete upper I would definitely send it back. Make the company stand behind their product!
