I hate when people make 20g out to be a gun for women or weak men. It’s just as lethal as a 12 gauge. Hell you could even put birdshot in a 20g and it’s still good for home defense

Love my Remington 1100 20 ga. And I just picked up an Aselkon IT1. It’s a Turkish Benelli clone with the inertia system. Very soft shooting 12 ga and very short 18” barrel.

  3. ironhorse67 on November 23, 2021 at 6:42 pm

Great choice for home defense. Not a fan of pistol grip shotguns, regardless of what gauge the cartridge it is.

  4. Herman Ferreira Vlogs on November 23, 2021 at 6:43 pm

Our double barrel 12 gauge used to shoot both at the same time so we called it the 24 gauge beast but we found the problem and fixed it

    Personaly I like twenty gauge.

  6. J P on November 23, 2021 at 6:44 pm

I have shoulder issues and can shoot a 20ga all day long, not so much with a 12ga. To anyone who refers to a 20ga as a female shotgun doesn’t know what they’re talking about or is just a gun snob and gun snobs are the worst!

  7. Keith Thomas on November 23, 2021 at 6:46 pm

Any guage shotgun will work for self-defense. Even a .410. Forgot the masculinity trip … you know what I mean? Handling the gun proficiently under duress is the most important thing.

  8. Gabe Briscoe on November 23, 2021 at 6:47 pm

All of yall saying the 20 gauge is weak.. Id like to see each and every one of you take a shot from a 20 gauge then tell me how weak it is lol

  9. Russ Snyder on November 23, 2021 at 6:50 pm

I’d like to defend my home but have a less chance of the rounds going through the wall and hitting a neighbor, is a .20 gauge better than a .12

    im getting one

  11. Bjorn O'Conner on November 23, 2021 at 6:54 pm

Let me make 5 common sense points –
    1. A 20 ga and it’s ammo is lighter thus you can carry more ammo than a 12 ga.
    2. A Hornady .452 250 gr SST at 1800 muzzle velocity can kill anything in America. It has more energy at 150 yds than a 240 xtp 44 magnum does at the muzzle.
    3. Buck and ball .. 50 caliber ball and #4 buck …. Intruder dead!
    4. You can cut open 2 12 ga rounds and reload 3 20 rounds (if the hulls are primed) just save the 12 primers for next time. They are both 209.
    5. Recoil is less so better control.
    You get my point.
    I love my 20 ga

I listen to stuff like this all the time. Some ‘you tube’ gurus need to go back to school.

  13. EinfachBiern on November 23, 2021 at 6:55 pm

omg stop calling the 20 gauge a womens or "wifes gun"… A 3 inch mag load has 2400 ft lbs of energy… Its a powerful caliber

  14. ImUrSenpai on November 23, 2021 at 6:56 pm

    First things first…

    Who shoots from the left?!

  15. Pen Knight on November 23, 2021 at 6:59 pm

I have that exact pistol grip with super x hollow point slugs.
    Shit is overkill 🙂

  16. Scootin' Fool on November 23, 2021 at 7:01 pm

I find a great deal of humor in the arguments people use against using various firearms for self defense/home defense/hunting/whatever. If you’re good with it, and you’ve done what you’re supposed to do by practicing with your weapon of choice, most firearms are viable. I have a 20 and a 12, a .22 and several handguns all ready for home defense. I’m not an expert or competition shooter, but I still practice with them and am competent. The .22 that’s close to hand is better than the 12 ga that’s in another room, or the .380 in my pocket vs. the .357 mag left at home. For the most part, any firearm that goes bang can be a viable self/home defense weapon so long as you’ve properly familiarized yourself with it.

  17. CrappieHook King on November 23, 2021 at 7:02 pm

If you think a 20 gauge is for females, then go ahead and fire 15 rounds of slugs rated at 1600fps. Don’t pull it in to your shoulder and fire away! Cheers!

  18. Eric on November 23, 2021 at 7:02 pm

"You’ve got a rail here for optics."

You know, on those 350m shots you take when engaging targets with a shotgun inside your home.

  19. Maritza Nieves on November 23, 2021 at 7:03 pm

    I’m 5 feet 1 inches i want 20 gauge

  20. hyoqa on November 23, 2021 at 7:06 pm

um why is this video so sexist great for women and peoples wives

  21. the scoundrel on November 23, 2021 at 7:07 pm

I don’t even care about or are interesting with guns, but I still watch this like every other day.

  22. Michael Hooks on November 23, 2021 at 7:08 pm

i love 20 gauge…but for my house spread of 17 yards max range, i stick with the federal 10 pellet 000buck 3 in 12 gauge……flitecontrol wad out of a 20 in barrel, i get consistent 8 inch groups…but that’s just me…..just like a fist fight…if your gonna hit em, hit em hard….

  23. sumboredazn on November 23, 2021 at 7:08 pm

20 gauge, 12 gauge. shoot a man square in the chest with either one and it’ll get the job done

  24. doki doki jihad club on November 23, 2021 at 7:13 pm

I like the 20 because I can go bird hunting with it and then put it back in my bedroom.

  25. Greg Montecarlo on November 23, 2021 at 7:14 pm

even at 75 to a hundred yards. best bet ill use 2/34 inch 12 guage.

  26. Semi Automatik on November 23, 2021 at 7:15 pm

    I gotta 12… A 20 u should get a 410..lmao😭😭😭😭

  27. Bowman on November 23, 2021 at 7:15 pm

change your stance with a 12 gauge you lean into the shot you will never look back at a 20 gauge again

  28. J Giza on November 23, 2021 at 7:15 pm

Looking to buy my 20 gauge this Wednesday.

  29. Jim Hovater on November 23, 2021 at 7:15 pm

Update: We just added a Stoeger M3020 Tactical to the family. It and our Stevens 320 HD, also in 20ga, are loaded with (3) Remington #3 buckshot, followed by (2) W-W Defender segmented slugs.

  30. Oddish43 on November 23, 2021 at 7:16 pm

A 20 is definitely adequate for defense against any two legged predator. A 20-pellet #3 shell or a #4 24-pellet has about the same mass as a 12 ga OO, and makes a lot more holes.

  31. Matthew J on November 23, 2021 at 7:17 pm

I love the 20 gauge – but its hard to find Ammo for them right now.

  32. anton1949 on November 23, 2021 at 7:18 pm

3 inch 20 gauge loaded with #3 buckshot is more than enough, it approaches a 12 gauge. Shoot 2.75 inch for practice, 3 inch for defense, you wont remember the kick.

  33. EinfachBiern on November 23, 2021 at 7:19 pm

man starting to think 12 gauge guys are just as bad as 45 acp guys. "your not a man unless you shoot a 45".

  34. pepperdog on November 23, 2021 at 7:21 pm

If I aim my shotgun at you that means you’re close enough. 20 or 12, it’s over

  35. charlie dee on November 23, 2021 at 7:24 pm

My 20ga 870 has dropped many a Whitetail deer at up to 70 yards away, most dropped where they stood. After seeing the damage done to the deer I have zero doubt about it’s capability to drop an intruder 5 yards away. The ones who call a 20 a wimpy round I am certain would not say the same about a .44 magnum yet the 20 has around twice the energy at the muzzle, a Federal Vital Shok 3" magnum slug has 2200 ft lbs of energy at the muzzle and 1370 ft lbs at 100 yards, at that 100 yards it still has the energy of a hot .44 magnum at the muzzle. If you really think anybody is getting up from a 5 yard away hit to the chest with over 2000 ft lbs you’re on crack.

  36. Michael on November 23, 2021 at 7:25 pm

That guy doesn’t use break barrel shotguns much. You let the barrel hang down.

  37. Google User on November 23, 2021 at 7:25 pm

Nah, all I need for home defense is a 10 gauge, 4 gauge, or 2 gauge shotgun

  38. kc on November 23, 2021 at 7:26 pm

Know one ever mentions a 20 gauge is equal to two .44 magnums…i think it is QUITE adequate for home defense

  39. Simple Logic 90 on November 23, 2021 at 7:26 pm

20 Guage can kick like a mule too at times.

  40. Lustly Mariam on November 23, 2021 at 7:26 pm

Yeah don mick tnkz for the recommending I got mine from the same store *immaglockdealer on Wickr * is reliable and legit.

  41. Rhon Ace Andres on November 23, 2021 at 7:28 pm

i love that shotgun without pump so too strong

  42. usmc8408 on November 23, 2021 at 7:29 pm

I bet the tools who a knock 20 gauge also think a .50 cal Desert Eagle is good for home defense too.

  43. Ligero_en_la_mentE on November 23, 2021 at 7:30 pm

i could shoot a 10 gauge shot gun but i like the accuracy of a 20 or 410 gauge

  44. Go Humberto! on November 23, 2021 at 7:34 pm

If you hear a home-owner chambering a shotgun shell you don’t hang around to find out what gauge it is.

  45. practical intuition on November 23, 2021 at 7:35 pm

The way that dude handles the shotgun, waving the barrel all over the place, loading it with the barrel right next to his face and his finger hovering the trigger, makes me feel like I would t want to be around him on the range. Watching him handle those shotguns made me feel nervous.

  46. mikebe41 on November 23, 2021 at 7:36 pm

A man in prison wants was asked by a reporter what size gauge or caliber of gun would you run away from and the man replied all of them they all have the potential to kill unless a man is seriously on drugs he lhear a shotgun blast go off he’s going to run

  47. Some guy with a Mosin. on November 23, 2021 at 7:37 pm

Some probably want this if their country doesn’t allow Civilian to own military or police cartridges

  48. Okuma 4runner on November 23, 2021 at 7:38 pm

Didnt know this was an ad 🙄 I was looking for some actual insight on how a 20g could be effective in a home defensive scenario.
