I just ordered the BCM Mod 3 foregrip. To be honest I actually preferred the look of the KAG grip but I’m not super flexible and being able to slide a few fingers onto the vert grip for support is easier for me to sustain than a "C-grip"
I totally agree, along with G10 hand guard covers they are both a must to be able to control your rifle when it’s HOT !!!!! Most of the new hand guards, BCM, Midwest etc. in Mlok or KeyMod are getting slimmer and lighter so they get hot very quick. Do yourself a favor and add heat protection as well as a vertical grip.
Hey sorry dumb question but exactly what make/model is this VG? Thanks!
Why would you need to dump 4 or 5 mags really fast? Ummmm, the next hurricane confiscation public safety act. I’m sorry but I had to.
M-lok > keymod. Remember to recycle? #PussyNation
What are those specific rail covers?
Thanks for the explanation.
Hey. The range in the video is pretty awesome! Is that a public range? I am in okc area. Couldn’t find a good outdoor spot. Thanks.
Hey dude what color and type of paint is your rifle done in. Looks slick. Great reviews man, digging the look of the Samson shortys lately but as for practicality I’m not sure a short vfg is very effective due to the aforementioned reasons. Torn
I just put one on my Ruger AR 556 This Morning! Awesome! Magpul
It does help. But becoming problems when youre trying to put your handguard on a flat surface. Especially on sbr not enough space to put the handguard on flat surface for more steady shooting
That’s an awesome set up, please do a video review on your set up.
I know this sounds odd, but you should check out the sling ding from TYR Tactical. (You could make one yourself for $5 at Home Depot.) See http://www . tyrtactical . com/products/details/accessories-sr/tyr-tactical-sling-ding/
Agree 100% with your sentiments on VGs.
The set up looks really nice but I hope u know that’s not vertical, vertical is 90 degree that’s grip is angle
Good to know. You getting the M&P 2.0c when it comes out? I’m itching to get ahold of it.
Confirmed my internal arguments verbatem. Getting one tomorrow. Thanks outlaw!
Whats the length of that KMR Rail? Thx
Let’s go ahead and shorten this video no they are great 👍🏼
Idk, I prefer the vertical just because it feels better for me. Is it more effective? I really don’t see it. But, I just like how it feels and I find myself moving easier indoors if I have to use it for home defense
Because it’s comfortable.
What grip was he using
Or just put a damn glove on
I still use a VG on my rifle for exactly the reason you mentioned… My rifle gets hot as hell! Especially in the Oklahoma sun…
How did you install that on a key mod? I just bought the forward grip and am scratching my head. I think I need more parts.
Thank You
Good point… F the ass wholes giving the thumb downs
I hate a rifle without one, that’s how I use mine as well
Yes. But put some gloves on
I wont use anything upfront other than a stubby vert grip just like what you had in the video… It really helps you to suck in the rifle and like what you said,.. when its hot and when using a barricade
If you’ve ever actually seen action then you’d know how vital vertical foregrips are. When all hell is breaking loose around you, you have that big grip as a reference point for your optimal hand-placement. And like he said, it’s also a big help when your weapons starts heating up. Of course most people don’t have to ever worry about being in either situation, but even for those who don’t – VFG’s are still a very nice addition to your rifle set-up. Im referring to the way i specifically like to grip my rifle/carbine, and how it entails having the ability to wrap my fingers around that grip to pull the rifle back into my shoulder. I don’t completely grab hold of it, as my thumb does sometimes go up over the top and clamp the hand guard. So really, this is the primary reason the vertical foregrip is my go-to attachment for sure. Though recently i’ve grown to like the angled grip more and more, especially with some of my SBR’s/AR-pistols and so forth, but i still don’t like it quite as much. Of course this is all just my opinion and may not apply to everyone, cuz after all – this isn’t something where a vert-grip is universally better than the angled, or visa-versa, or say somehow maybe it’s better not to have either or somethin. It really all depends on what works best with an individual’s personal grip and shooting stance.
Keep up the great work man, you are one of the few youtubers that I watch religiously. Thanks for not putting out shit and being objective.
also to add to the vert grip, ergonomics, its more of a nat grip on the vert, rather C grip on the picatinny can be stressing on the wrist
When you say the vert grip is out fo style, do you mean people don’t find it useful, or that people just think it’s aesthetically unappealing
I agree! More support and less burning of hands.
The channel is growing fast!
1:30 that’s what she said 😃😃
I have a bullpup 12ga, and I already have an angled grip for it, but I want a vertical grip that’s ANGLED 45* LEFT. sadly I’m going to just make one out of wood or some exhaust pipe because.ive never seen a horizontal grip or horizontally angled vertical grip.
Like you I ran one for awhile and took it off but then realized it just didn’t feel right and put it back on. I run a shorty in about the same position.
Just wondering, but what’s your neighbor situation like? Especially when you’re firing at night?
I swear by vertical grips, especially since I use silencers on most of my rifles. That heat gets wicked, I don’t see how some people get by with these new little nubs that are coming out. But that’s just me.
Technically that is an angled grip being that it’s at an 88 degree angle. ATF clowns say vertical grip is only at 90 degrees 🤡
“Dump 4 or 5 magazines in a row.” Lol, are you planning a Waco type raid?
How much of an angle is required for it not to be a vertical grip?
U had awesome points, u may have just changed me into put one on my ar15! Lol
More good content. Thank you sir. Oh, nice new dirt by the way, didn’t get to catch up on you stuff till now (back to school for all of us this year).
What is thing behind front sight??
Is that the vortex crossfire optic
If your rifle has a folding stock not a brace can you have a vertical grip????????
good video and info.
