Getting on a bit as the youngest was probably made in the mid 1980’s so spares can be a little iffy but a Winchester 101 can be got for £500 and were considered one of the best handling guns of all time back in the day. Walnut stocks, Prince of Wales grips on some, nice engraving and made in Japan when they led the world with their quality manufacture. Browning’s were also made there at the time and are amazing guns.

Love your videos and surprised to hear you mention SKB again. My father had an Ithaca SKB 500 o/u that I grew up shooting. I found one of my own a few year’s back in new condition, fully embellished (top grade), and possibly never fired. Its stamped "Ithaca guns of Canada, Dunville Ontario", haven’t seen another like it. I also own an Ithaca SKB 200e sxs in very good condition. They are not the fanciest guns, but are very good shooters and well built.

Would be nice if you put subtitles on the screen when you mention a brand or model. Sometimes it’s hard to understand exactly what you are saying

Shame on you for bad audio quality but the video was good, needed more close up of name brand to identify the gun.

    Europeans can have guns?!

  14. Lanky Asian on November 18, 2021 at 7:55 pm

I live in America. We have many of the guns you guys have but the names are all swapped around. Why do I enjoy your channel? Because: informative – concise – your enjoyment of the art. Thanks! P.s. I’m thinking of getting a Cynergy CX. I use a BPS now and average 43/50 clay a session. I wonder how much a U/O might improve the score.

  24. Darryn worthy on November 18, 2021 at 8:05 pm

i bought a u/o baikal in the 1980 at 15, fits perfect, killed thousands of ducks rabbits foxes, very tight choke, chrome moly barrels, i shot it almost every day for years, 20 yeards you can put a strip of patern over a rabbits head running so no damage to the meat, fantastic killing gun. baikal no 7s i used duck shooting when i bought it, ducks at 70 yards killed dead, fox skins paid for the gun back in the first year easily. can use steel in it. still my go to gun for rabbits ect hands down. i dnt have to aim i can snap shoot it as it fits me perfevt. i have a stoeger that doesnt fit well for ducks and steel shot. it kills as good with steel, but you need a gun that fits perfevt to be a faster shot. my age doesnt matter im to crippled up. but i love the baikal.

I’m not even kidding… I can only understand about 60% of what this guy is saying. Really. Example… starting round 0:40 "thats better than sorry o wildcard or a firemare basespring vibrate" wut?

  38. Dave Bishop on November 18, 2021 at 8:21 pm

I have watched a number of your videos today. Both you and David the shooting instructor have touted the AYA shotguns. Some time ago, you reviewed anXXV by AYA. I was fortunate enough to use some Churchill XXVs when I was a teen. One of my dad’s friends had a bunch of them. At any rate, the 25 inch barrels suited me as did the Robert Churchill method. I have wanted an XXV for a very long time. have never been able to afford one. I know you Brits like longer barrels and the 12 gauge. Here in the Southeastern USA we hunt quail and a short fast handling gun serves the purpose better than a long barreled gun. You mentioned how cheaply the AYAs could be bought use in the UK. It is rather rare to even see one in the classified here. So, if you have one CHEAP! I would be interested. A 20 gauge with open chokes is the thing or even a 28 gauge. I am not good enough to use a 410. The 410 is an expert;s gun when hunting Bob White quail in South GA. Also there is a scarcity of the Miroku OU in 20 gauge here as well. The ones we see are under the Charles Daly brand. Miroku built them from 1963 until 1976. The original guns were dead copies of the Browning Superposed. Again if I can get a 20 gauge with 26 inch barrels choked imp.cyl and mod. At a cheap price I would like to obtain one. That is where you come in, get me a very good price and ship it to my FFL so we comply with the law, I sure would appreciate it.
My email is fishindul@aol.com. Help me if you can.

    Thank you,
    Dave Bishop
    Athens, GA.

    Price to shooting gun plz

  41. space_man on November 18, 2021 at 8:25 pm

I still don’t understand peapole that have literaly like 40 guns in the bacround. Like what are they protecting? If you would have a burgeral breaking in to your house and knowing that you have guns the burgeral would take the shotgun, get the amo and shoot you before you wake up for yourself.

  43. Traditional Irish music on November 18, 2021 at 8:25 pm

Would you answer a question to do with ear protection? I was wondering if there is any way to completely protect yourself from hearing damage, when clay shooting. I already have tinnitus and don’t want to make my hearing any worse, and as I was thinking of taking up clay shooting I need to find out for sure
