    Happy New Year.

  2. Deplorable D on November 10, 2021 at 5:55 pm

It sure looks nice but I am not crazy about the fact that you need two hands to draw your firearm. I would be more comfortable if there there was an option to attach it to a belt.

Excellent rig, review! I will have to get one ordered for my 44 Ruger BH.

  9. Johnny Lewis on November 10, 2021 at 6:05 pm

I picked one up Mid August 2016 for the Glock 20/21 while I was visiting Wasilla. Love the holster! And the folks at the shop were super nice. Even stampted my initials while I waited, and adjusted he straps while I tried it on. I ordered the magazine pouch once I got home, and they got it to me quickly. Its my favorite souvenir of my time in Alaska. I will be ordering one for a S&W N frame in the near future.
They also carry survival straps and fobs made by a nice young man that has won awards for
His business ( Alaska Paracord Design) building
And hard work… So I got one of young Mr Graysons fire starting wristbands to support his work.

  17. Aitor Navarro on November 10, 2021 at 6:18 pm

Looks like an awesome piece of kit would love to get it to carry my Glock 20 while Elk hunting which is also Bear country. Only thing I see getting in it’s way is wearing a backpack while carrying a rifle and also wearing binos. The straps and specially the waist belt would be in the way.

  18. Rob Brown on November 10, 2021 at 6:20 pm

Great outfit! Mine is for my S&W 629. Next will beย  the same model for my security six! It’s surprisingly comfortable and easy to use. I got mine after listening to Hickcoks review of it.

  19. Patrick Funderburg on November 10, 2021 at 6:21 pm

Watch kneeling and squatting wearing it. Your muzzle was literally ON your leg for a second. 0:26 ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

  20. Das Piper on November 10, 2021 at 6:22 pm

When camping, I even sleep with the Rig on my body. so my S&W 686 can purr me to sleep.

  24. Smitty on November 10, 2021 at 6:25 pm

I know this video is old as hell, but who knows maybe i’ll get an answer. How comfortable is it to wear while shooting a long gun? or along side a long gun on a shoulder sling?

  25. Robinhood's homestead on November 10, 2021 at 6:27 pm

    left handed model ?

  26. j pun on November 10, 2021 at 6:28 pm

Thanks for going over the inside of the holster in detail. No one else does that. You are a good reviewer.

  27. carl krebs on November 10, 2021 at 6:30 pm

What ever you do , don’t send an order to El Paso saddlery , unless you want to wait a rediculous amount of time to get it in , if you do at all .

  30. Josta Fro on November 10, 2021 at 6:32 pm

its not that noticeable on your chest

  31. Mordion on November 10, 2021 at 6:32 pm

I have a ruger super redhawk (7.5" barrel) in 44 mag. I live in grizzly country.. think that would be a decent holster for it?

  32. Nate S on November 10, 2021 at 6:32 pm

Do you always need two hands to draw it?

  33. Nomans land on November 10, 2021 at 6:32 pm

How well does this work for simple bandolier style carry, without the around the body strap?

  34. dale carpenter on November 10, 2021 at 6:33 pm

In the 80’s red wing hiking boots were made with glove leather full lining ! I used them working ing the woods and on wildlang fires !!!

  35. Common Sense Patriot on November 10, 2021 at 6:35 pm

I really like these holsters! Thanks.

I love it,, I had to get the black one for when I take my gun to church,,lmao

  40. Dickey Moore on November 10, 2021 at 6:39 pm

can you draw the gun from this holster just using one hand only I see that you are using two hands? THANKS

  41. Clarence Ellyson on November 10, 2021 at 6:41 pm

I really like that holster. What are the price on those.

  42. Doc Pearson on November 10, 2021 at 6:43 pm

Looks like one of the finest rigs made but one question please. I noticed every time you drew the pistol you used two hands instead of one. Is there an accessory strap that goes from the bottom of the rig to your pants belt to hold it down so you dont have to use two hands to have to draw your pistol?

  43. Thad Boman on November 10, 2021 at 6:43 pm

Have you tried the simple rugged chesty puller holsters? I’m trying to decide between the two.

  44. King Elvis on November 10, 2021 at 6:46 pm

    A revolver is a pistol.

  45. BASIM SALAHUDDIN WYNN on November 10, 2021 at 6:47 pm

Kydex holsters are very nice and have there place without a doubt…However leather will always be number one…the beauty…the smell…the look…the quality…the natural fabric and look can never be out done. Kydex can melt…leather doesn’t melt…and I love to touch and feel natural things.

  46. eqlzr2 on November 10, 2021 at 6:47 pm

Iโ€™ve owned three of these and theyโ€™re fantastic. Canโ€™t beat it for hiking or backpacking. Super comfortable. Canโ€™t even feel it under a heavy pack.

  49. HugoStiglitz on November 10, 2021 at 6:53 pm

That is one nice looking rig.

  50. Ralffart on November 10, 2021 at 6:53 pm

    Hi Sootch00

I was wondering if you had any problems with the retention Strap? Could you do
a follow up Video on the retention Strap and show both sides of the holster so
we can see how the strap works. I am worried that you cylinder will rub the Strips
of leather and ware them out the strip on the inside will rub and ware the
finish on the firearm. Also dose it hold the firearm in well?

    Thanks
    Robert
