The old m&p trigger was a good trigger πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ I prefer it over the new one

  2. Erik Mikkelsen on March 18, 2023 at 2:53 am

First video of yours I’ve seen. Really great stuff, subscribed.

  3. Frederick Todd on March 18, 2023 at 2:53 am

I have the M&P 40 1.0 Hated the trigger, went Apex. I shoot that pistol better than all my others. I’m waiting for the 2.0 to offer the new trigger in a 40 Compact. I also have the Shield Plus Performance Center. Best CC on the market! Keep up the good work!

  4. J M Martin on March 18, 2023 at 2:55 am

Nice watching a couple of pros doing what they do best– I love S&W

  5. Joseph Santana on March 18, 2023 at 2:55 am

Definitely still not better than a stock PDP trigger. But I would put it a notch above Glock and pretty much every other striker fired gun. With that said I do still prefer the M&P overall compared to the PDP.

  6. Joe Last on March 18, 2023 at 2:56 am

But what trigger are you using

  7. keith kent on March 18, 2023 at 2:56 am

Wonderful too hear honesty these days , the weapon system ( M&P ) is greatly improved . My belief is this pistol line is much better out of the box than Glock ( right now ) . But Glock is stepping up there game with the new performance trigger ( $99 upgrade ) which I believe they will be putting in new Gen 6 . It’s soon to be a level playing field . K

  8. AngryAce on March 18, 2023 at 2:57 am

I haven’t been able to find a holster from the usual suspects. None of them support the raised sights as of yet, any suggestions?

  9. Rawfusion 45mm on March 18, 2023 at 2:57 am

Does anyone know where you can buy this trigger?

  10. ZeroProbelms BigFella on March 18, 2023 at 2:57 am

Any word on when the full size performance center guns are gonna get the flat face triggers

  11. MarioLoco03 on March 18, 2023 at 3:01 am

Wish we could get these in CA…This state is so lame.

  12. John Freeman on March 18, 2023 at 3:07 am

I have several glocks and several m&p’s. I shoot them all an equal amount(ish). Buy i always circle back to the m&p snd itbis 100% because of that grip angle. I just shoot them better. I just dont have an M&P compact and am looking to get one to upgrade to a new carry gun

  13. Anthony Funderburk on March 18, 2023 at 3:12 am

    Im all about Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 10mm 9mm most of all my Pro Series 9mm 1911 πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜ŽπŸ’―

  14. 1NC...One-N-Chamber on March 18, 2023 at 3:13 am

    M&P GAAAANG…. I Had the 9mm, first Gen trigger…. Sold it for M&P 10mm…also got M&P 15 Sport2

  15. Tomas Jimenez on March 18, 2023 at 3:14 am

Canik mete sft has best trigger out of the box in my opinion

  16. Jamaal Robinson on March 18, 2023 at 3:14 am

Yo Ken. Huge fan. I just got my first M&P 2.0 optic ready compact and I love it. I was wondering where did you get the barrel? Looking to have a threaded barrel on my 2.0. Thanks again for everything.

  17. Griffen Sackman on March 18, 2023 at 3:14 am

Glock is over hyped i hate it Everyone ik w a glock got it to show they hard.. anyways πŸ˜‚ m&p is where its at, just bought a 2.0 metal yesterday. The grip, trigger, slide and the sight plates 10/10

  18. Charlie sw9ve on March 18, 2023 at 3:16 am

I rock the smith and wesson m&p 2.0 compact πŸ‘

  19. svtkilr on March 18, 2023 at 3:16 am

I have the 10mm 2.0 and i like the trigger on it but I like my G19X Trigger over the M&P a lot better! It’s my first striker M&P she looks beautiful shoots great for me but others have been having FTF issues but I have put target loads and hot loads from 180gr targets to Underwood Lipsticks and I only had one failure to feed! Probably close too 600-700 rounds through it.

  20. ZFlyingVLover on March 18, 2023 at 3:16 am

Yeah but is it better than an APex flatty? Also, M&P 45 low cap sux. At least with the 2.0 they should’ve brought them up to the 21st century already and had the fullsize hold 13 rnds like the XDM, Glock and CZ. So for me M&P and CZ for 9mm but XDM for 45 and 10mm. Just keeping it real

  21. jamie varni on March 18, 2023 at 3:17 am

    You make sense. Good communicator.

  22. desimation on March 18, 2023 at 3:17 am

    .40 here ❀️

  23. FingerAngle on March 18, 2023 at 3:18 am

    I love my S&W

  24. Scott on March 18, 2023 at 3:19 am

Can the new trigger be retrofitted into an older M&P m2.0?

  25. joebom1981 on March 18, 2023 at 3:20 am

Thanx 4 such good info im still debating on m&p 2.0 compact or sig m11-A1 cause of my hand size smith has that spec series bullshark grey its dope just not 4 my carry needs

  26. Jacob Wethington on March 18, 2023 at 3:20 am

How about a compact grip with a full size slide. The grip is what makes the gun hard to conceal so why make the grip smaller while still using the larger sight for accuracy

  27. Nicholas Gilbertson on March 18, 2023 at 3:23 am

Im switching it out with an Apex, I don’t like the new trigger

  28. Rob Byrne on March 18, 2023 at 3:24 am

What’s the plans for the 4” slide on the full size frame. I am building one now since watching this.

  29. bhenry on March 18, 2023 at 3:25 am

    What barrel is this?

  30. chezlafamilia on March 18, 2023 at 3:26 am

That 18 degree grip angle is the most natural by far. Good video!

  31. Brandon Cason on March 18, 2023 at 3:26 am

Was this the 4.25 full size version?

  32. Dynasty 22 on March 18, 2023 at 3:29 am

I carry the exact same firearm, M&P 2.0 compact optics ready but it has the curved normal trigger as my duty gun. I’ve only been able to find the new trigger on the full size 10mm so far, would love to get a full size optics ready with the new trigger. Thanks for the video appreciate the honest input.

  33. Gmajor Reloaded on March 18, 2023 at 3:31 am

I’ll take the PDP any day.

  34. Router Eyes on March 18, 2023 at 3:32 am

All 1.0’s required an Apex trigger upgrade. The new trigger is sweet, it only took S&W decades to realize.

  35. Zachary Buroker on March 18, 2023 at 3:32 am

I have a 2.0 performance center, and i hate the trigger on it. Its super long, and not comfortable to shoot. Would like to have seen the trigger on yours, be on mine. Definately want to swap triggers on it. Got any recomendations?

  36. W on March 18, 2023 at 3:33 am

Sold guns for over 2 years and this is by far the beat thing s&w could have done βœ”οΈ my only issue is it took so long that guns like canik are now shooting better and have a better trigger at 30% less price.

  37. desimation on March 18, 2023 at 3:35 am

    Yeah boss!

  38. Theodore Gates on March 18, 2023 at 3:36 am

I have sot Glock for years, essentially since they came out. I conformed my hand to the grip. The M&P feels like it was molded to my hand! The palm swell fit my hand without making the trigger reach too long. With one exception all my Glock pistols are gone, M&P pistols are taking their place.

  39. Joseph Santana on March 18, 2023 at 3:37 am

My gen 5 g17 with polished bar and connector and 6000 rounds through it still doesn’t feel as good as this new M&P trigger and it’s still in the 5.5-6lb range. My gen 5 g45 with polished bar and apex connector is closer in pull weight around 4.5-5lbs but still has more mush and travel whereas the M&P is so much more defined. I’m just waiting for one of my local shops to get one of these M&Ps in full size 4.25 no thumb safety in stock and I’ll be grabbing one. But I’m still stuck with Glock on duty though.

  40. Em Dei on March 18, 2023 at 3:37 am

Glad I saw this video before replacing my 2.0 Compact 3.6” that I recently sold. I was gonna replace it with the same pistol. But this one with the optic readiness, suppressor height sights and that trigger!… This is the one. πŸ‘πŸ½ Also, I plan to be in the A soon. I’ll be reaching out for some training.

  41. Beasttrout on March 18, 2023 at 3:40 am

    What holster do you use

  42. HENRY H. on March 18, 2023 at 3:41 am

Great review! And I agree with you 100% about the M&P line! The 2.0 models are the best out of the box shooters!
My 2.0 Performance Center Shield (3.1") is phenomenal! And the new Metal is amazing!

  43. Luis Ramos on March 18, 2023 at 3:41 am

You have a new subscriber with this video, I have a M&P 2.0 and I love it even more now that I watched your video lol. Looking forward to watching more of your videos in the future. πŸ’ͺπŸ‘

  44. Joe Bowman on March 18, 2023 at 3:41 am

I carry a 2.0 4” for work. Love the M&P platform. After watching this video I ordered a new one just cause I want to try the new trigger. Thanks for the info.

  45. Common Sense on March 18, 2023 at 3:42 am

I have somewhere around 12k rounds through the original M&P 2.0 compact that I picked up shortly after its release. It hasn’t had a single malfunction that is gun related. I have Glocks, Sigs, and other pistols but the M&P is the gun I trust the most to go boom every single time. I just picked up the new model with the flat trigger and optic ready. Put a Holosun 508t on it and bore-sighted it, just need to get it to the range.

  46. Ω…ΨΉΩ† Ψ§Ω„ΩΩŠΩΩŠ on March 18, 2023 at 3:42 am

When you want m&p but it’s about triple the US prices… 😭

  47. Josue Guzman on March 18, 2023 at 3:44 am

I had the fde 2.0 that has an optic cut n flat trigger. Its ok

  48. T Manuel on March 18, 2023 at 3:45 am

I own the m&p 2.0 & the glock 45 but I prefer the glock trigger. You can’t go wrong with either honestly.

  49. iForgot911 on March 18, 2023 at 3:46 am

can you get aftermarket sights for these? i cant find any

  50. Joey Phillips on March 18, 2023 at 3:48 am

I wish it had a better reset.. I actually prefer the original 2.0 triggers for that reason
