If i already had this one or trying to save some money then yes you are right, its just the 2.0 does all this with the 15-17 rounds with better trigger and ergonomics, minus the 12 round mag, personally i don’t like the 12 rounder ,i would put the plus 3 on all the 12 round mags, but the price difference is significant so its smart. But not by much if you like the 2.0 upgrades. At the moment i just saw a m&9c going for $319.00 free shipping and the plus 3 for $15.00 if you get 2 $30.00 so $350.00 without transfer fee and background vs $400. For the 2.0 without a transfer fee street price and $5.00 for background, plus smith is given a $50.00 rebate only problem is of you can find it in stock right now with this corona virus going on.
will this work for the 15 round m&p9c 2.0? I have seen this for the 1.0 but i have the 20
I just got mine for my 9c and the 15th round is very difficult to get in, so I’m just calling it a 2 round extension.

Is there any instructions on how to install the base plate for the hyve tech.
Changing the number of rounds in a gun doesn’t change the designation of the gun from sub to compact to full size.

Where did you get the big 17 round mag.
I just use the 17 round M&P M 2.0 with an xgrip adapter sleeve.
This is pretty neat. However, Hyve should have provided an option that blends more with the gun and doesn’t have the gaudy advertisement on the side. It would be nice if it had been a little shorter.
That’s a unnecessary mod just buy a 15rd m&p magazine!

Nerd note: The MP9C has a 3.5 inch barrel.
