The AR Reviews Will Continue Until Morale Improves 😤 FN-15! [Review]

FN is a name synonymous with quality – and their flagship patrol carbine is no exception! Tasked with the production of military contracted M4s and M16s for years, the FN-15 is Fabrique Nationale’s civilian AR-15 offering – a solid, mid-grade milspec rifle that’s ready to go out of the box!

Thinking of getting one? Should I

  2. Nicholas Rousseau on November 22, 2021 at 10:52 pm

I run mine with a vortex spitfire and a canted vortex viper red dot. Shoots like a dream.

  3. LYLE LOVE on November 22, 2021 at 10:52 pm

I would put a 1x scope on it and a fore grip. Everything else seem very nice 👍

  4. Henri Greene on November 22, 2021 at 10:53 pm

Yeah. If a hand stop and a light is customizing. That’s all I need.

  5. Dominic Warr on November 22, 2021 at 10:53 pm

is it good for canted iron sight? i like nthis one

  6. German Vanegas on November 22, 2021 at 10:53 pm

Great rifle, indeed, made by a reputable, legendary company. With that said, I stick to my Ruger 556 and S&W MP 15 Sport 2 with added accessories, including red dot optics both. Two reliable, durable rifles for a few hundred dollars over the prices of one FN. Nothing against the FN, just my personal preference.

  7. Greatsoutherntrendkill79 on November 22, 2021 at 10:58 pm

They don’t lie about having the most battle proven firearms around. Yeah they’re a little bit on the pricey side but everyone knows do you want good quality you have to pay good money.

  8. Anthony wilson on November 22, 2021 at 11:01 pm

    Upgrade

  10. Robert Gimber on November 22, 2021 at 11:03 pm

The FN DMR ll already has all those things done you were talking about changing or disliked I think. Maybe try to run a test on it next.

  11. hold 'er Newt, shes rearin' ? on November 22, 2021 at 11:04 pm

I absolutely LOVE both my FN FN-15s!
Both my modded FN 16" M4/RECCE carbine and my FN 18" match grade sporter/DMR rifle are the most reliable ,most accurate and most durable ARs ive ever handled.
    Phenomenal rifles all around!

  12. cody Sorrell on November 22, 2021 at 11:04 pm

Cheap plastic furniture no nickel boron bolt standard mill spec trigger gas operated . outdated quad rail system we are just going to upgrade anyway. Sounds to me like they’ve polished a turd by slapping a name on it .

  13. Francis Hutchinson on November 22, 2021 at 11:06 pm

I customized my FN15 with a vertical grip, red dot, 3*magnifier, a flashlight, grip plug-stores l-wrench a back up red dot battery, and a para cord sling.

  15. Tony Diers on November 22, 2021 at 11:07 pm

This FN 15 is a good base for a Sopmod Block 1.5 PR Clone and for having already a Quad Rail and Flip Up Sights mounted it spares some money for getting parts and gear.

  16. CarsDailyish on November 22, 2021 at 11:07 pm

Tempted to like just for the title 😂 brings back memories

  17. Jose Reyes on November 22, 2021 at 11:07 pm

I’ve come to really like FN. I have shot some of their rifles and they are duty ready plain and simple. I have also come to like their pistols. They are really underrated.

  18. iambrink01 on November 22, 2021 at 11:09 pm

    Great review

  19. mtn ride on November 22, 2021 at 11:11 pm

  20. James Behm on November 22, 2021 at 11:11 pm

You should do the tactical II next. The people wanna see that review.!

  21. CannedLife on November 22, 2021 at 11:12 pm

$2300 right now on gunprime, new inventory.. If you keep buying at these ridiculous prices they will keep selling it to you.

  22. Lemurai on November 22, 2021 at 11:12 pm

Just a standard infantry rifle, they all shoot the same, all the ar pattern rifles shoot the same just better quality materials.

  23. Tyler Tapp on November 22, 2021 at 11:13 pm

I’ve got one of these and after an hour of havin it, that was it, it became my go to rig. I ended up putting a b5 sopmod stock, a ergo tactical delux grip, a giessle sch charging handle, a troy flip up battle sight, an eotech and a troy battle rail on it with a stream light protac in a haley thorntail mount with pressure pad in a cloud defensive mount and a tango vert grip and a Vickers blue force sling. Quite a bit of cash but man it’s an awesome rig. Oh and a dead air 3 prong flash hider for my sand man s……. but I wanted to go all good quality for this thing and like I said it’s my go to rig so I might as well.. I wouldn’t trade it for nothin man.

  24. Matt Walters on November 22, 2021 at 11:14 pm

    2:57 I love the setup fail! 😂

  25. Ky1eB on November 22, 2021 at 11:16 pm

dude nice reds cap..rep my city!!

  26. Shane Luckett on November 22, 2021 at 11:16 pm

I’m still looking for an AR in my budget. $900-$1300…this is definitely on my radar.

  27. William Tyler Willis on November 22, 2021 at 11:17 pm

I just bought this rifle, the guy said it was new, it’s really clean, so I can’t tell, it’s my first AR 15 and I’m new. I paid 1200$. He was asking 1100$ but I offered him 1200$ to hold it until I had the cash, which was going to be a week later (guess I got hustled, that’s that impulse buy, we’ve all done it) . I justified it because I knew it was a gem! I’m very happy I purchased it

  28. kip Lynch on November 22, 2021 at 11:17 pm

Used to carry the FN L1A1 or the SLR as we called it in the British Army. Best rifle I have ever used bar none and would take it over anything else even today. FN makes a really fine rifle.

  29. Frost River on November 22, 2021 at 11:18 pm

Love my FN 15 Tactical. Changed the grip, stock and put a nice 🇺🇸 dust cover on. She’s sharp and sweet. Can’t wait to get the can bailed out!

  30. YoSoy SanchoVilla on November 22, 2021 at 11:18 pm

Id love the to own the rifle… That price is just way to steep. I could build a rifle that would perform twice as good if not better, for the same price lol.

  31. The Trill Virgo on November 22, 2021 at 11:19 pm

I have one on layaway and it’s definitely getting customized

  32. Ethan Clarke on November 22, 2021 at 11:19 pm

What should I buy? Fn patrol carbine or Fn M4 collector?

  33. area51r on November 22, 2021 at 11:20 pm

i bought that same upper back in 13, did not use it until this last february and now i am looking to change out the hand guard to a longer style and get a pop up front site. grrrr

  34. Joe Green on November 22, 2021 at 11:27 pm

I remember back in the good ole days these things were 699 shipped minus the quad rail. Colt 6920s were 639 shipped. During the trump slump thoooooose were the days….Boy I tellya. Now you are paying 800+ for M^P sports. Nothing wrong with an MP sport…..,but I would rather an FN rifle.

  35. Patrick Griffitt on November 22, 2021 at 11:27 pm

Change the pistol grip, add a reflex sight, maybe add an M- lock for end to mount a laser. That’s it!

  36. Jason on November 22, 2021 at 11:27 pm

I clicked this merely because the title made me feel like I was back in the Marines haha.

  37. Osker on November 22, 2021 at 11:31 pm

Just got one lightly used for $600. Couldn’t pass it up.

  38. Minh Vu on November 22, 2021 at 11:32 pm

How would you compare this vs psa with FN CHF barrel?? Oh does anyone have their 20” Maryland rifle ? And how they like it? And why did you buy it?

  39. vinnyg101 on November 22, 2021 at 11:33 pm

FN discontinued the FN15 Patrol carbine….why??

  40. ThisIsMySafety on November 22, 2021 at 11:36 pm

Overpriced considering the options available these days

  41. Идём двжыб бабынинец on November 22, 2021 at 11:38 pm

Does FN still sale to the civilian market ? Or they like colt now ?

  42. Fat man on November 22, 2021 at 11:38 pm

For the price you could get a more modern ar like Daniel defense or BCM

  43. Michael K Clark on November 22, 2021 at 11:42 pm

Just leave it like it is 😎

Thanks for doing this video. Fantastic as usual

  44. C A on November 22, 2021 at 11:44 pm

I bought mine two years ago for 699 and it came with a carry handle and M4 type hand guards.

  45. Henry Calhoun on November 22, 2021 at 11:45 pm

Maybe an aimpoint red dot, no other accessories

  46. N L on November 22, 2021 at 11:45 pm

as a first rifle, would you recommend the FN 15 or a Ruger 556?

  47. Christopher White on November 22, 2021 at 11:46 pm

Never owned a real gun. Just bought this one today. Why did they vote Biden.🙁

  48. Matt Walters on November 22, 2021 at 11:46 pm

As a fellow Appalachian, I too am proficient in the slight uphill target busting.

  49. Franklin on November 22, 2021 at 11:46 pm

I would just buy the tactical carbine. FN pimps it out for you lol.

But I would just leave it as is and add attachments to the rails!

  50. Evan Lartey on November 22, 2021 at 11:50 pm

Just picked one up for $800. Dropped the 2A for my red dot and flip ups, and feels incredible to shoot. Swapped out the stock for an STR. Only 200 rounds through it but so far so good. My first AR
