Long standing ability to restrict who may own firearm. Really because it doesn’t take Long to rip that opinion from the government apart. The US went 147 years without a prohibited person’s class. The prohibited person’s class didn’t begin until 1938 and what than expanded in 1968. Before that not just people accused of committing a felonious crime could legally own firearm. But people with a felony conviction could legally own firearms. The prohibited person’s class is unconstitutional when you apply Bruen.

Being charged and being convicted are two different things. If you are a convicted felon like myself ee cannot buy guns legally until 5 years after your discharge date. And you can only have it at home for home protection.

Keyword “Not Convicted, Not a Felon, Not a Prohibited Possessor.”. So what this amounts to in the most negative is… A Mass Shooter gets caught, and bc his skin color is not white. He gets released same day awaiting trial. He gets indicted but is not yet Convicted. Then he buys a new gun funded by Soros. Worst case scenario.
Best case scenario, You’re forced into a defensive use of a firearm to save lives, stopping a mass shooter. You’re charged bc that last shot might’ve been over kill. You eventually bail out but become indicted.
The Mass shooter has also been released and has purchased a New gun. Thanks to his lawyer and the media. He knows where you live, and you’re the last surviving witness. And you have to attend a wedding… You can buy the new gun.
