I’ve got the 6 1/2 in stainless and it’s so heavy it tames it pretty nicely. Even the mighty double tap I tried was completely manageable…noticable, but surprisingly manageable recoil. It’s like a movie prop it’s so big it needs wheels ha ha! It’s my favorite "party pistol." I always wear it around Thanksgiving, Christmas and whatnot 😛 I got it in a real nice Diamond D leather holster. So pretty, but it’s nearly 5lb unloaded no shit 😛

What do you use to clean your RJ if you don’t mind me asking. I’m trying to keep the finish looking good and I hear most cleaners are not so good for this particular finish.

I know this video is a couple years old, but have you fired 500 Smith & Wesson snub nose, and if so how does that recoil compare to the 454?

I have a older original judge the one that shoots 3” 410, it’s big, never really figured a use for it, maybe as a snake gun hiking but kindof heavy. 🤷♂️

What is the price?
Garrett ammo makes a 365 and 405 grain bear load 45 Colt ammo that is 1100 feet per second. These guys shot probably a 250 grain at 750 feet per second. Steinel ammo also has a 350 grain at 1100 ft per second. About three times as powerful as 250 grain. I suggest that, it’ll make it funner. It’s basically turned a 45 Colt into a Magnum bear load. 45 Colt has surpassed 454 casull, only being that I’ve only seen a 365 grain 454 Casull, but they’re very close cuz of the velocity of the 454. Barely more with 365 grain. But 405 grain 45 Colt little more grain but barely less velocity. I think they’re about the same now. Not back in the day though. 405 grain Colt about 1150 feet per second. 365 grain 454 about 1300 ft per. Both comparable and very great
