    Looking at getting my CCW. My wife’s gun is a SCCY 9mm, and that’s what I might carry at first. I have really been checking out this gun tho. LOVE IT compared to hers!

    I don’t think that it would fire cause of the trigger safety but drop tests should be on the back of the gun so the forces push the trigger back

    you do look funny shaking that gun .
    The only other shake test I can think of that’s funnier is putting the loaded gun in a paint shaker.
    The drop test was kinda lame, guns don’t always drop on the magazine…

    The only thing wrong with the millennium g2 is that piece of crap Taurus lock that can become partially engaged during recoil and cause malfunctions. The g2c is their best compact so far. As soon as they release the g3c with the G3’s trigger it’s will be perfect. If your impatient like me. Get a G2c and install a keep tinkering pseudo backstrap trigger. Done. Perfect.

    Thanks, I’ve had mine and the only problem I’ve ever had was an aftermarket mag I bought causing my gun to jam,other than that a great,great gun.

    I just replaced the trigger with a Keep Tinkering trigger. I wonder is that would affect the test?

    Get a slab of concrete and strike the butt of the slide with the muzzle pointed up and I bet you it will discharge even with the safety on .

    What about the guide rod Springs overlapping after a 100 or 200 rounds and the clip falling out when it’s fully loaded when you’re firing the weapon

    Pretty sad Taurus can make a better pistol than the Sig P320 and at 200.00 vs 500.00 and is safer 😉

    Good thing the pistol didn’t fire. You had your thumb on the slide when beating the pistol against the truck box. That would have earned you a trip to the emergency room not to mention a surgeon. Taurus has a big winner with the PT111 G2. Taurus for the most part does make decent firearms, I think they build better guns now than they have in the past. Next time you do drop test make sure you keep your thumb off the slide.

    There is a video that shows a Taurus discharging while being held and shaken (Taurus discharge when shaken) That is an older version of a police pistol.
