Luky you my friend mine out of the box first 3 shoots goin out of battery tree try whit diferent 9 mm brands 115 grane still the same . The Gun shop testin the gun same problem they call Taurus manufacture xplaind problem and the gun was send it bak To Taurus to be verify .

I think I have an ankle holsters this thing will fit in just fine. It has 365 written on it.
Hard to find a better gun at this price point. My gx4 came with one 11 round and one 13. The 13 definitely fits the pinky better. Wished the toro was out when i was buying, its optic ready. Love it shooting a gun we can all afford and also that TriStar t-shirt. Glad you’ve joined us
I bought my GX4 for my NEW EDC in June 2021 and have had 0, No, issues to this date and have run over 2,000 rounds.
Wasn’t looking for a firearm that was Optics ready or had a ‘rail’.
I wanted a small 9mm that would be the best for self defense, concealment, yet have quality and be dependable. I wasn’t going to be in any shooting competition with the GX4 as I have other firearms for that.
Purchased the GX4 at my local Scheels and got the last one in stock at that time – 329.00.
Received the pinky extensions (2) for the two 11 rd mags that were included and that completed the grip for me….good to go with my pinky on board.
Of course my 13 rd mag has the extension.
That’s all I needed to do to get the GX4 the way I wanted it on my hip…or wherever I carry it.
Recently upgraded to the Tru-Glow sights which is a great add-on over the factory sights.
Also have now a Viridian Red Laser which was an easy mount not having a rail.
many new items coming out that can change your wants and needs, ouch goes the bank account what we use today may change tomorrow. have a large gun choices is great something for ever one

My EDC is the GX4 XL and love it!
Got my GX4 yesterday. Fell apart in less than 1 minute after 10 shots. Extractor arm and springs fell out.

Lol… man I hear you about some of the hotels close to the IV8888 shoot. There’s some sketchy ones for sure. I’ll be going back this year. Having carried a Uber-sub compact 9MM for many years(Kahr PM9 with a whopping 7 round capacity with the extended mag), I can honestly say I can’t stand them, BUT this one seems to have better ergonomics which is a game changer with control and helping with better accuracy as well. I have always struggled to get good hits/accuracy with my Kahr PM9 due to how dang small it is. Can I hit a torso at 7 yards? Of course, but I can’t group it at all. I think what would make this GX4 better is an extended grip built onto an extended mag like you mentioned. For less than 3 bills this is such a bargain in today’s world of ever increasingly pricey stuff… and Taurus pistols do shoot and most are reliable despite folks that bash them.

Hello can you please tell me if you needed any additional plates to install this on your GX4? Or can you install from factory?
My youngest daughter got her CCW and tried the GX4 at the range along with 4 other more expensive micros. She chose and bought the GX4 over the others without even knowing the prices ahead of time. Taurus has definitely upped their game.

I held the gx4 and shield+ at same LGS and the S&W I liked better , these 2 were in my final 3 picks. Haven’t found a Canik tp9 elite sc so the plus is it & $100 more. Thanks for review.

Was not a fan of taurus. Was at my local gun shop getting ammo ( not gun shopping) and saw this for under $300 so got it.
Have since sold my p365 and edc the gx4 now

I bought mine back in the fall last year. I took my ccw test with it and is my edc. I have zero issues with mine!! I have added this and that as one does. Good lil pistol!

I have the GX 4 Toro model which comes with 2 magazines, 11 round, and a 13 round. That is a lot of firepower 12 and 14 rounds with one in the chamber. Taurus in the last few years has really done a great job. My TX 22 Compact is also a great handgun from Taurus.
