My current edc is the g2c model, put over 1000 rounds through it so far and I personally haven’t had malfunction at all so far.
I’m in favor of the 2nd strike ability! I own a standard G3,. While shooting cheap ammo CCI Blazer aluminum case, three bad primers, which on the 2nd strike fired! That’s what made my wife a fan! She has several Glocks, and always brings it outside to our range, when we are training!!
am first commentator nice video am from Pakistan
I own the g3 and g3c. G3c is what I carry everyday and it conceals fine and is as comfortable as the holster you pick. The trigger pull is nothing to complain about. If you never use the double strike you won’t be upset it’s there. If you do use it you won’t be upset it’s there. It has its benefits regardless of how you prefer it. Yes you can dry fire and that’s great for indoor practice. Double strike or not the SADA trigger is pretty good out of the box. There is a noticeable travel for the double action but that is a given. The weight of the pull is where it shines. I’m not saying the single action is super light but the double action weight is almost identical to the single once you get to the break. Point is you don’t have to fight against the pull or even think about the trigger. The people who complain about the double strike don’t complain about the trigger performance. That should tell you something. You can prefer not to have double strike but fact is its still a great gun and most reviews point out the factory trigger is still better than a glock. I got nothing against glocks. Point is try it out. Everyone who owns one is satisfied so as long as you enjoy shooting it and you can still afford ammo then that’s what counts.
I saw this at my local shop on sale for $229. Had to purchase it and will probably use it as a secondary or night stand pistol.
G3c is my EDC and have had no problems to conceal. I have put 500+ round down range without a hitch, 3" grouping at 15Yards. I would recommend as a great starting pistol, especially because of the double strike capability for dry fire training.
So when are we going to see the G3X T.O.R.O.?
Its still better than that cheap build glock that cant innovate
I love my G3c. I think it’s a dependable and reliable gun, especially for the price. Double strike is awesome for dry fire training. Very concealable. Also quite a few really nice factory and aftermarket upgrades out there for even more reliability, and the upgrades are also very affordable and easy to install. It’s a really great gun for someone needing protection, but wont break the bank. With that said, I do have a few gripes about it, and these are issues I have personally dealt with, but don’t find them to be a deal breaker. Mine seems to be a slight bit picky with certain brands of ammo, and also certain hollow points. Some flat nosed hollow points like the SIG V Crowns have a tendency to get jammed against the feeding ramp, even when the feeding ramp is polished and lubed. But most hollow points I have used works just fine, but it’s still a good idea to always try out whatever ammo you buy before you use it as your daily carry. Another issue I have is the factory front sight. The white dot fades out very fast over time. It goes very dull and dark with dust and grime, and it’s kind of hard to clean it out and get it nice and bright again. So either get some better sights, or do like I did and keep applying a fresh dot of white paint to make it nice and bright again lol…. Other than those few problems, I think this is an amazing firearm for the money.
Good night friends team guys
In Puerto Rico, this gun costs $510 😒🤦♂️ is that illegal?
I love how everyone says taurus is great I love taurus THEN THEY PULL OUT A REVOLVER!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It’s kind of hard for a revolver to be unreliable I don’t think I’ve ever had a revolver jam lol which it’s possible but very rare….
Whered u get that optic?
Not so affordable when you have to send it back for warranty work. UPS charges $110 as it has to go overnight with them. Other companies, S&W, Ruger, Kimber, pay the shipping. Having to pay shipping and now I’m at the price of a S&W Shield.
Just picked one up
At the gun show picking it up tomorrow. Can’t wait to shoot it
no thanks, taurus is disarmamentist
I like your vídeos. I live in the city Taurus was founded. Too bad our current president is against guns and is enforcing politics against It.
Great little pistol! 👍
With spring and summer coming I’m about to put my trusty old Smith DAO Compact in .40S&W back in the vault and awaken my G2C for warm/hot weather carry as I don’t trust the 9 Minimal for those times of year when folks tend to wear more clothing. As for "witness holes" they work great when there is enough light to see into them. The little loaded chamber indicator is a plus from my point of view as I NEVER leave home, or am at home for that matter, with a semi-auto pistol with an empty chamber though it is nice to be able to run a fingertip across the slide top and feel that little raised blade under low light or no light conditions. Thus, no need for pointless "press checks".
I believe the 2nd strike capability can be appreciated in a real shoot out senorio. At the range your relax with controlled fire after fire. in a gun fight we would probably be firing more than we realize and in heat of firing the 2nd strike would go off or fail and you would know by the third pull and then tap and rack. In other words its the rapid nervous firing that most likely would be better to have second strike.
I own g2c. Damn Good ccw.
Pass on Taurus! I’ll save up a lil more money!
Only revolvers from taurus
I’m so happy with my G3C !👍😁
Good gun 👍🏼
Everytime a reviewers mention Taurus they start with the Taurus problems but you never hear anyone start out on a Sig 320 saying they’ve been in court because drop fire issues
The Taurus g3 and G3c are not DA
G3c owners please like this comment so we know how many of us owns it. ❤️👍
My EDC is a G3c. Nearly a thousand rounds. No probs.
Just got my first permits to buy and I’m definitely going with the g3c
Shot the TX22 or TX22 Compact? Might change your mind about their quality. And I bought my G3c after shooting Sigs, Shields,Hellcats, and a couple of others.
have a G2 and G3 Toro, would and do trust my life with them, great durable and accurate enough, keep one handy .
