Do the MCarbo spring kit (watch their video its detailed and competently done) and polish up the contact points on the striker and trigger assemblies, and you can get that trigger down to 3.5 lbs. You will need a chamber reamer though for about half of the ammo on the market. If a 9mm manufacturer has a longer overall length, it may fail to cycle it reliably. Reaming the chamber works well to combat that problem.

Have had g3c for two years now. My edc. Ran over 1000 rounds through it. Only one stove pipe was a mag issue. I run Hornsby 115 critical defense for ammo for defense ammo

I use my g3c for concealed carry, put over 300 rounds through it no issues
My g2c is no longer my everyday carry but I do still train w/ it on occasion. I mostly use it if I’m bringing new shooters with me, so they can try out my full size EDC (IWI Masada) and a compact. (Taurus)
I have g2s but I don’t Carry it because it has supe bad capacity 7+1 😂 I’m carrying Jericho 941 compact 9mm now
Show the accuracy or you may as well have not made the video.
You should make sure that you test your G3c with your concealed carry defensive ammunition. Hollow points for example. Those don’t always play nicely with that gun.

People rag on Taurus, well deserved sometimes, but I’ve got a G3C that has become my favorite carry gun.
Carried a taurus g2c for years
It is NOT good for "combat distance" what the hell are you even talking about?!
My only issue with the G3C is that it does not like ammo with steel casings, likes to jam.
In the 1980s I had a Taurus PT92 that looked exactly like a Beretta 9mm and I also had a Taurus 357 Magnum Revolver.
Both were useless pieces of 💩.
The revolver’s cylinder would not turn smoothly because there wasn’t enough clearance between the cylinder and the frame when loaded and the cartridges rubbed slightly against the frame causing a drag.
The PT92 came apart when firing it. I mailed it to Taurus because they said they had a “Lifetime Warranty” and yes, they did fix it, and when I got it back I sold both of those pieces of 💩.
You forgot to mention the infinite trigger. For those that lack muscle memory.

Gc3 is my all around tool. Eats any ammo I’ve ever put in it. 💯 reliability after 3 years.
I own a G3c myself and put a red dot on it and I love it.

I have the G2C but made it as my home defense gun for one reason. I’ve got big hands. Whenever I shoot it, my right thumb rides up on the external safety after the action cycles. Now I conceal carry the Stoeger STR-9C in 9 mil because it doesn’t have an external safety.
I own a Taurus G3C and I think the trigger is very good and I put a night site on the barrel and a Olight and I have four 17 round magazines fir it and also a G4X and it also gas a night site and four 13 round magazines and I love them both.
