I’m curious why you think you need to adjust your sight depending on the caliber you’re using?
It took me 2 years to find a 692. I paid $800 for a pre owned one that I found at a gun show.

I’m not a big revolver guy but have 2 . I’ve noticed you pull the hammer back a little and free spin the Cylinder I can’t do that with my 686+ just wondering how
Nice review! I would like a 692 but cannot find one in stock. I would carry with the 9mm.
I had the same issue with my 627 Tracker. The little orange sticker came off after…barely 50 rds maybe. Other than that I love it. I just used a little white and then a little bright orange nail polish from my wife’s collection to "fix" the front sight.
Still haven’t taken it back out yet though to see how long the nail polish lasts.
Did you JUST shoot a 44 mag? His arm looks exhausted.
And if you were shooting silhouettes you’d be able to make more informed adjustments.
I bought mine when they first came out. It runs flawlessly.

I have a 692 and have fired it during break in period and very satisfied with it. The 357 rounds were very manageable that made me consider this as my next edc.

I have had nothing but great experiences with my Taurus revolvers. My first EDC revolver was a Taurus 85CH DAO 357. I never shot 357s through it. My thoughts were this gun is so light and so small that if I fired full power 158 grain 357 in it, I would probably spend 15-20 minutes trying to find where it landed when it flew from my hands. But with Winchester 125 JHP 38 SPL +Ps, it wasn’t really that bad. That was about 20 years ago and since then I have added a 6" 357, a 4" 22LR/22WMR Tracker, a pistol that Taurus called the CIA. That’s the Carry It Anywhere gun. It is a stainless copy of the S&W 38/638 Bodyguard with a shrouded hammer. The theory being that you could cock the little tiny nub of a hammer if you wanted to take a shot single action. The reality is it takes so much effort to cock that nub of a hammer, that anybody you wanted to shoot would have expired from boredom before you could shoot him. Then I added 2, 454 Casulls to the accumulation of Taurus revolvers a 3" Raging Judge in 410,454,45 and a 8 3/8" Raging Bull. I will tell you that compared to a 6 1/2" S&W model 29 with full power 44 magnums, either Taurus 454 is a joy to shoot. The last revolver from Taurus in my collection is a 2", 7 shot Titanium 357. I fired one cylinder full of I think it was Remington brand 158 grain JHP through that little Titanium terror just to validate my man card. Well let me tell you before I do that again I will learn to walk in heels and vote the straight Democrat ticket. That sucker was not fun. Truthfully the triggers and the finish on my Smiths may be better than on my Taurus revolvers, but dollar for dollar I think you will be hard pressed to find better value than Taurus revolvers.

man suck it up fellas! I love shooting my smith 69 with 2.75 inch barrel in 44 mag! in fact first time i shot it i had to clint eastwood it with 1 hand my off hand since my strong hand was in a cast! hit my 10 yard target every time. what a sweet gun!!! the only thing i was able to buy with my dearly departed dads money that was left to me. about 1 grand!!!!!
