I LTC qualified w my Shield (1st) and was the only time I was allowed to give it hell. I was thoroughly impressed with how accurate it was! Far more accurate than me and the only jam was my fault. Ran through 100 rounds that day. I look forward to purchasing a 3rd SW MP but Perf Center 🇺🇸
Is the compact the 4.25”?
I had issues with the gun at first as the sights would dip when i tried to pull the trigger. I though it was the hinge trigger thingie but my old shield never did that. Then i noticed in the vid you were using the small backstrap. I tried out the small after only using the medium and to my surprise that was the issue. So unless you got big old hands the small backstrap should be what ya need.
That’s not a gun. Trade it in for the 45!

Smith and Wesson hit a home run with this one.
An emery board for fingernails used very gently and lightly will take the top points off the texture if needed. Only one of my eight M&Ps needed it. Took about a minute; don’t overdo it.

Bought mine yesterday brand new for $275. Insanely good deal, if I do say so myself. Lovin’ it so far.
I picked the M&P over the Glock for a few reasons. I like the trigger a lot more then the glock 19s trigger. I think the M&P looks better and finally it isn’t a glock.
For folks with a Love/Hate relationship with the Glock 19.
I just purchased this model from my local gun store and it came in a cardboard S&W box, not sure why i didn’t receive the hard cover case.
Like my comment if you stuck around for the bloopers! 😂 I’m sold I’m buying one. At first I didn’t like em at all cosmetically but now they’ve been catching my eye, not all, but this one in particular. Honestly wish I would have came around sooner because I’d have bought this before I bought my Sig M17

I just bought a FTE model. I really like the looks and I couldn’t pass up the $380 price tag it was a used gun but never fired. As far as caring I just use outside the waistband holster in an oversized Hawaiian shirt. I really don’t like inside the waistband carry. It’s uncomfortable for me. And with my job I’m used to carrying outside the waistband on a duty belt anyway LOL
i got me a compact in 2018 in 40 cal i love it carry it every day and never had one issue with it not one
I really like the Look of S&W very cool design. The 2.0. , 3.6 15rd. And with the spacer 17rd. The ergonomic grip is awesome 😎 Very impressive group on target 🎯 scootchOO
3.6 inch 40sw. 13rnd mag. ultimate carry gun, except for maybe throwing in the KKM 357SIG barrel. (admittedly I have Apex poly semi flat trigger and Springco
recoil device, and orange Trij sights).
Not a glock fan at all s& w is much better Weapon
I know you should buy a gun based on performance first and not looks, but this is one nice looking gun that performs.

I haven’t been able to pin-point exactly why but every time I press out my M&P, I always have a perfect sight picture. This does not happen with other guns that I own. even though I practice with them. I think it has to do with the grip angle and fit on my hand. Great guns very accurate.
I love the way this gun shoots but it is heavy for a conceal carry.
Owend this for almost 4 years. Jury has not made a judgment yet to date.

Just round the slide stop off with some fine 600 grit sand paper, and it should work fine
Love that it’s 15 rounds and doesn’t even look enlarged.
Never seen anyone try to release the slide with the slide catch. The normal process is to pull the slide back slightly, which releases the slide stop, then let go to rack the slide.
Is there a 17+1 version?
The right side (ambi) slide stop works as a slide stop but doesn’t work well (or at all) as a slide release. Not a problem if you’re right handed, but annoying that a control is not fully functional. Aesthetically, the front end has too much going on. Why different sized view ports to see the underlying metal above the rail notches and front slide serrations that are too small and too low? I would have designed the front end much simpler and cleaner. Needs a flat trigger as in the Shield Plus. Guess I gotta wait for the M3.0 to get it right.
