A mindless infomercial evaluation. The gun looks like junk. Think I’ll get a Beretta or, at least, a Browning.

  2. james ranger on December 1, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Everybody see the crack in the stock at 1:47.

  3. Steve Duvall on December 1, 2021 at 10:41 pm

To rlbrobst, It kicks like a mule because it’s so light, easier to carry on the hunt. Get a stock pad and you’ll love it more 🙂 .

  4. Andrew Johnson on December 1, 2021 at 10:42 pm

    no ejectors, no purchase!

  5. life in general on December 1, 2021 at 10:44 pm

    the stock was cracked already

  6. Kelly Landin on December 1, 2021 at 10:44 pm

I have had one for 2 years the only bad thing is it kicks like a mule

  7. erg0centric on December 1, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Why would you need two barrels if you are only shooting one clay?

Looking for my first shotgun, and the cracked stock looks nice, how is the warranty on that?

  8. Adam Forman on December 1, 2021 at 10:44 pm

It does not kick the shell out ???

  9. makes garces on December 1, 2021 at 10:46 pm

I could do without the music or at least turn it down jeez.

  10. Frank Dwyer on December 1, 2021 at 10:47 pm

Did the stock crack the first time you shot it. Clear one on the left side.

  11. rlbrobst on December 1, 2021 at 10:49 pm

I got one of these a few weeks ago. These kick like a MULE! This is the only shotgun I have ever owned that bruised my shoulder!

  12. country life on December 1, 2021 at 10:49 pm

Wish Savage would make old 311 12-gauge side by side

  13. Tom Midd on December 1, 2021 at 10:52 pm

You get the big 👎 From the start of the video to the end, the horrid loud noise ruined it.

  14. Jack Bauer on December 1, 2021 at 10:54 pm

Disliking the video for the music overlay and the shotgun for the fact it has no auto eject. Also there’s no big deal in having a tapered ventilated grip and ventilated midriff. Also i’d like to know what an untapered grip is as i’ve never found a shotgun with one. It has to be tapered to work! The stock has a ‘beveled recoil pad’ what decent shotgun doesn’t? It’s a piece of shock absorbent rubber that costs around $20. Silly video and a very average firearm.

  15. TheVryfst on December 1, 2021 at 10:54 pm

crank the sound at the beginning, I couldn’t hear it…….. oh wait… i actually mean WTF turn that crap down! learn to make a video with proper audio levels

  16. Rick k on December 1, 2021 at 10:58 pm

I like the look of the gun but that shot does not sell this gun for me. I can make that shot all day with a Maverick 88 tactical Shotgun with no choke and replay it for ya In slow motion if ya like.

  17. Paradise Road on December 1, 2021 at 10:59 pm

…can you get one without the cracked stock?…

  18. 1000Commando on December 1, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Hello Savage Arms can you please make a Mark II FV-SR 22LR in left handed action.

  19. Joe Truth on December 1, 2021 at 11:00 pm

I bought one in 16 gauge last year. I load my own shells so finding ammo is no problem. It is built on a 20 gauge frame like it should be. Shoots like a dream.

  20. Bluetunder40 on December 1, 2021 at 11:01 pm

just bought one cant wait to shoot it

  21. Oie d'tudiant on December 1, 2021 at 11:01 pm

Truly inspiring! I love the placing of that safety. What a value for the money. Probably just as good as the CZ. will live out in the wild this coming summer and plan to get a 555 to hunt grouse, pheasant whatever. Can’t wait to own one!

  22. Ali Alzaabi on December 1, 2021 at 11:02 pm

Stock crack in advertising video hmmmm … don’t buy it guys .

  23. Bryan Dover on December 1, 2021 at 11:02 pm

Devon, your video production people severely let a good review go to waste. Anyone that can’t get their sound levels right in the scene or music transitions shouldn’t be doing videos. It’s just too easy to fix in today’s world. Oh, one other thing….. putting a cracked stock on display was a huge faux pas.

  24. KJ Roberts on December 1, 2021 at 11:06 pm

do savage make the 555 with engravings on the sides?

  25. France Sass on December 1, 2021 at 11:07 pm

    is magnum?

  26. ZMOA2006 on December 1, 2021 at 11:07 pm

I had the Stevens 512 …. The worst piece of shit ever 💩. Turkey shotguns? No thanks

  27. Michael Oravec on December 1, 2021 at 11:08 pm

I bought in November 2016 one and love it

  28. Joe Wilcox on December 1, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Bought it, love it!!! LETS GO SHOOTING!

  29. Mook1639B on December 1, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Good video except for the blasting, jangly, music. I won’t watch any more Stevens videos with this kind of noise pollution. Are you listening, Stevens, and other manufacturers?

  30. gfhfmf on December 1, 2021 at 11:13 pm

This shotgun is made in Turkey by Kofs. Good guns.

  31. Adam on December 1, 2021 at 11:15 pm

It’s a great shotgun. I was given this as my first trap/bird gun by my father in-law and for a guy like me I can’t imagine anything better. I hit most of my targets and I love the weight of it, very easy to carry around the field when hunting pheasant.

  32. Cody Hagen on December 1, 2021 at 11:16 pm

    is that in Doniphan Nebraska???

  33. cougar hunter on December 1, 2021 at 11:16 pm

wont own one and wouldnt own one nice looking gun tho but it has the mobile chokes there junk not steel shot proof bad design would of got one if it had rem choke or invector chokes

  34. J. Ng on December 1, 2021 at 11:16 pm

5 choke tubes? where is the last one?

  35. Steven Heintzelman on December 1, 2021 at 11:17 pm

I’ve read reviews where this gun "reliably" doubles depending on how you pull the trigger. Not good in any gun, let alone a light 12. Probably what happened that cracked the stock… pause at 1:15-1:19 range and you can clearly see a crack in the stock where it meets the action!

  36. Gee purrs on December 1, 2021 at 11:18 pm

1:16. Cracked stock. Must be some really cheap wood selection they use.

  37. DieWolfen on December 1, 2021 at 11:20 pm

    01:16 nice crack…

  38. Brice303 on December 1, 2021 at 11:22 pm

I’m debating on the Stevens 555 vrs the Browning Citori featherlight.  they both are at 6 lbs but the browning is over 2 grand vers $700.  gotta say leaning towards the 555.

  39. Jr S Outdoors on December 1, 2021 at 11:24 pm

I used one of these at a skeet practice for my school’s Sportsmans club, I’m gonna buy one because that’s the best shotgun I’ve ever shot in my life

  40. Lawrence Karleskint on December 1, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Its junk most of the time both barrels fire at the same time.

  41. rushnut1958 on December 1, 2021 at 11:26 pm

I’m considering this OU. I’ve had several OU’s and loved them.  I just can’t order one without handling one in person prior to that.

  42. igotthis on December 1, 2021 at 11:27 pm

No why can’t pull out together a good music and video combo like ya’ll! 👍👍

  43. Kevin Raynor on December 1, 2021 at 11:29 pm

    Lose the shitty music

  44. Green Hornet on December 1, 2021 at 11:29 pm

I have this shotgun in .410 bore, 28 gauge, 20 gauge and 16 gauge. Awesome shotgun for hunting Partridge and Rabbits. Absolutely love all mine !

  45. Bob Kitella on December 1, 2021 at 11:30 pm

I bought a 555-E Silver a month ago and put about 800 rounds through it shooting trap. Was averaging around 18/25 on a round of trap around the 700 round mark. Purchased a second one (555 black) a week ago and the first time out with it was around 15, but the 4th and final round that day I broke 24/25. Love both of them and for now, since I am new to this game, that’s all I am going to be shooting for a while. Beautiful shotguns, well made, light and they fit me like a glove.

Just ordered a new 555 12 GA- 28" barrel 3" – Am new to Trap & Skeet – I have a Mossberg pump that can accomodate 2.75" and 3" shells alternatively. Is the 555 capable of accepting a 2.75" as well as the 3"?
