In this video I show y’all the new Smith & Wesson Performance Center M&P 10 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. This is my first AR10 and my first semi auto in 6.5 Creedmoor. I have to say this is one awesome rifle for the money. One thing to keep in mind when looking at the 100 yard groups is that this rifle hasn’t gotten past it’s break-in period. Once it does, I’ll be sure to update y’all in the performance. Thanks for watching!

Hi: I like your in-depth and unbiased reviews. I’m interested in buying rifle for deer hunting and which one would you suggest from following two rifles ?

    1. M&P®10 OPTIC READY .308 WIN/ 7.62X51 CAMO

Where are you shooting? I’m in ATX and since BOTW closed their long range, I need a place nearby to shoot my Tikka CTR.

How noticeable is the recoil between the 308 and 6.5 creedmoor. For those of use with a bum shoulder is the 6.5 really that much different. You here about it has less recoil and is so much better than the 308

My smith and wesson m&p15 sport 2 is currently 10.8 pounds 🤣 it has a 20 inch heavy barrel thats fluted, carbon fiber brigangand arms atlas 15 in rail, a 1-6x scope and a standard m16 a2 stock with a2 buffer and spring, i put about ~2300 excluding mags, scope and bipod

  17. Copper Harris on May 30, 2022 at 6:59 pm

    Does it come in .308?

This new format for this gun review was great, keep it up.

  19. Brian Field on May 30, 2022 at 7:00 pm

Trying to reach copper equillibrium, not breaking in. Quality 5r rifled barrels wont need long to establish that . A few rounds, maybe….

  28. Duck Hunter on May 30, 2022 at 7:07 pm

I shoot DPMS G2 hunters in .308. Love them but have my eye on the 6.5 creedmore for wind and recoil purposes. I have not purchased one yet because I have not been impressed with reliability from what I have read of the 6.5 in an auto gun. How has this rifle been as far as reliability? Also, does it have any barrel fouling issues or get really dirty quickly??

Thanks for the vid. Very impressed so far!!

    Nice weapon 👍👌

Absolutely love Stiener scopes. I have the 5-25×56 with the MSR on my SA M21. The clarity is phenomenal, which helps for my aging eyes.

  31. David CF on May 30, 2022 at 7:09 pm

Have you did more accuracy tests, with better ammo, like Federal 6.5 130gr Berger, or Hornady Match? Ammo is a main accuracy factor. Which is your better group?

  32. Luke Liggett on May 30, 2022 at 7:10 pm

Did you have to do any adjusting to the rifle in order for it to cycle correctly with that suppressor?

  33. Alaskan Ballistics on May 30, 2022 at 7:11 pm

That rifle’s sick can’t wait to get you on a caribou hunt with it…

  34. Ken Morris on May 30, 2022 at 7:12 pm

nice gun, but if you’re gonna Barry White the music, you might wanna put a ring on it first.

  35. Chris M on May 30, 2022 at 7:14 pm

I purchased one of these for $1600 then changed the stock to the PRS and added a Atlas bipod, very soft recoil with a muzzle brake. I have only shot Hornady 140 gr match ammo in it, have not hand-loaded for it yet and very surprised at the grouping from a semi-auto.

S&W factory 2-stage trigger is very heavy and not good for target. I replaced mine with a Geissele SSA immediately.

  47. Mario Pereira on May 30, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Sorry. But for that money that rifle should be sub MOA.

$2,000 on the rifle and a Steiner but have a swivel stud adapter and harris bipod?? Why not spend a little extra and get an Atlas that is a direct rail mount and better quality?
