Love them. My wife got an EZ first and after shooting my Plus at the Kentucky Gun Company she also got a Shield Plus! Great gun!

  2. Pacific Blue on January 24, 2022 at 9:11 pm

I have the Shield 1.0 retrofitted with an Apex trigger kit. I love this little gun! The Plus would be an excellent EDC for anyone in the market but they appear a bit pricey.

  3. sweetcostarica on January 24, 2022 at 9:12 pm

Capacity is the latest fad, after custom triggers, AWIB, optics on handguns, etc. Folks you don’t need a lot of bullets for concealed carry.
In fact more than 10 bullet by the FBI data is not necessary and just add more weight to your already heavy load.
    Shame.

Does this come in a 380

  5. Mark Kapzynski on January 24, 2022 at 9:13 pm

Nice review, but the distance to the target would be helpful to explain your poor grouping.

  6. James Vatter on January 24, 2022 at 9:16 pm

    Still laughing at your analogy.
Me… I’m gonna pick the younger, plus-sized sister over the older, skinny one!

  7. Joe Burke on January 24, 2022 at 9:19 pm

Just bought one today, your video was informative.

Quiero sacar la licencia de armas de fuego que tengo que hacer.

  9. Trae UCity on January 24, 2022 at 9:19 pm

Great little gun; but as you said, too late for me. The Sig P365 is my idea of perfection. Sorry, GLOCK.

I sold my 43x and 19 for the Shield plus. The size, weight, and capacity made it a no brainer!

  11. Doug D on January 24, 2022 at 9:22 pm

I loved mine but it has a manufacture’s defect and it will take 6 weeks to fix and send back.

  12. Stroys on January 24, 2022 at 9:23 pm

Got my plus about 2 months ago. Love it.
It shoots left of center about 3 inches at 10 yards, but good groups. I will adjust the sights. I have watched several YT gun gurus shooting the plus and they all said it shoots left. Hickok45 said he thinks it’s because the grip is wide and thin which causes it to twist slightly when pulling the trigger. I think that’s true. I pull more left when shooting rapids fire.

  13. Marc Chauvin on January 24, 2022 at 9:23 pm

you need some shooting lessons my friend!

  14. Rick Pullins on January 24, 2022 at 9:24 pm

  18. Jason Waite on January 24, 2022 at 9:28 pm

    $550 though?

  19. Josh Church on January 24, 2022 at 9:34 pm

I’d really like to see the 4 inch version. More sight radius is a plus.

  20. Bishop George on January 24, 2022 at 9:34 pm

I have the Shield 9mm, .40 and the .45 and I will be trading in my G26 for this one, I love my S&W I had have other S&W so yeah, it’s a not brainer this will go along with my Sig P365 and my G43X.

  21. djchino on January 24, 2022 at 9:37 pm

P365 Still is the one to go with- Still smaller then the rest and great capacity.

  22. JSG ll. . . God, Guns & Liberty on January 24, 2022 at 9:37 pm

M&P shield plus is a very nice gun but say it like it is. . .she is not the same size just a bit bigger and the grip is different

  23. Jack Savage on January 24, 2022 at 9:38 pm

Get a SAR 9 and you got all ya need. Dead on out of the case.

  24. Thorburn J Schwegler on January 24, 2022 at 9:38 pm

I would love this gun if it was a 40

  25. Logan Turner on January 24, 2022 at 9:40 pm

    The trigger housing,should be squared off,like Glock,Taurus,Sig!

  26. Antonin Chango on January 24, 2022 at 9:41 pm

  28. ThePlantain on January 24, 2022 at 9:42 pm

Went looking for the XDS or Hellcat…came home with this. Can’t wait to shoot a mag or two

  29. kimberHD45 on January 24, 2022 at 9:43 pm

I’m holding out for the 4” barrel version.

  30. David Coleman on January 24, 2022 at 9:44 pm

She can be late with a rack like that. And all that junk in the trunk.

  31. TheJHMAN1 on January 24, 2022 at 9:45 pm

Reasons not to buy: 1.) Your old gun works fine, 2.) New does not make old obsolete, 3.) Buy ammo instead. Reasons to Buy 1.) because you want to, and thats all the reason you need.

  32. Jason Waite on January 24, 2022 at 9:45 pm

Compare to Taurus G2c and G3!

  33. Matt Katz on January 24, 2022 at 9:46 pm

I’ve always owned a Shield. I just sold my 2.0 and bought this. I’ve found an issue, at least with mine. The 13 round mag runs fine. But if I try to run the gun 13+1, I always have a FTF after the first round. Once I fix that, everything runs fine. I’ve only put 100 rounds through the pistol, but this has happened 5 times in a row. Just want to see if anyone else has seen this? I’m leaning towards carrying this pistol 12 + 1 because of this.

  34. Redskins 11 on January 24, 2022 at 9:46 pm

    Reasons to get the Shield Plus;
    1. If you have big hands.
    2. Made in the U.S.A
    3. Reliable

  35. Rosa on January 24, 2022 at 9:48 pm

I’m getting a lot of sexist undertones in this review. Anyhow, thanks for the comparison to the P365 and the Hellcat. That’s what I was looking for. Gave you a thumbs up for that.

  36. Jeff Foxy on January 24, 2022 at 9:48 pm

Are there compatible mags you can buy either extended or old shield single stacks? And what about after market mag extension or good night sights?

  37. Lee on January 24, 2022 at 9:51 pm

Smith and Wesson addressing what here ? What’s wrong with the S&W 2.0 9MM 3.6" with a magazine capabity of 15 and can use the 17 round magazines…four training shcools under my belth with it and functions great and conceals even better !

  38. Dreskii The GamerDude on January 24, 2022 at 9:54 pm

I just purchased one and I LOVE it, nice and compact. Just gotta hit the range and test it out👍🏾

  39. Stoeger Stewie on January 24, 2022 at 9:55 pm

    I just want the trigger

  40. Colt10mm Security on January 24, 2022 at 9:56 pm

The Cerakote on plastic looks like a terrible paint job, done with a spray can. The grip is too thick. But other than that, looks good. …but I still prefer a Glock 43 or 43x, depending on what I’m doing for the day.

  41. Marco Polo on January 24, 2022 at 9:57 pm

Too small for my big hands. But the extended magazine might help

  42. thatboy matt on January 24, 2022 at 9:58 pm

Does it take down the same way as the original?

  43. Joe W. Harris on January 24, 2022 at 9:59 pm

I just purchased a Shield Plus and I love the gun. But like the one you are demonstrating, It shot low and to the left. Some guys on the FB forum said to have another person shoot the gun because four of the guys Shield Plus shot dead on out of the box. So I did and the other guy who shot my gun also shot low and to the left so it was the gun and not me.

  44. Gentle Rain on January 24, 2022 at 10:00 pm

They dropped the Grip safety mechanism? Not interested in Shield anymore then.

  45. Martin Contreras on January 24, 2022 at 10:00 pm

“If your going to church or meet your girls parents it’s all about presentation take a gun” what kinda intro is that😆

  46. L Karamazov on January 24, 2022 at 10:04 pm

When are you guys gonna get some carry guns in .45 acp. I picked up one of those shields, it’s as light as a feather.

  47. Eddie Boulrice on January 24, 2022 at 10:04 pm

Can the mag fit the old 40 or is the lower resiver fit the new mag

  48. Everett Hunt on January 24, 2022 at 10:04 pm

I just bought an M&P Shield Plus! I am very excited about it. I was going to get a holster, but will it fit in regular Shield holsters? And is the Rear Slide Plate and Mag Release the same as the regular Shield too?

  49. wowtboy on January 24, 2022 at 10:08 pm

Why the heck did they not set this up for an red dot? Ruger blew it out of the box with the MAX 9

  50. Stephen Berry on January 24, 2022 at 10:08 pm

Love my Hellcat OSP in FDE but thrilled there’s another quality offering in the high cap micro size handgun market. And the Ruger Max9 is arriving too
