I had several light strikes too; sold it and bought the the Glock19. imo M&P looked nicer and sat better in my hand but reliability wasnt there. 300 rounds on my G19, not a single issue …

My show performance center did not come with the cleaning kit lol.. but I have the new 2020 2021 version MMP 2.0 compact optic ready and it is not performance center

  3. Wayne Lassiter on December 24, 2021 at 7:56 pm

If anyone can help me I’m trying to figure out what screws to use onto my smith and wesson performance center m2.0 9mm optics ready I’m trying to mount holosun 507c x2 but cant find on the internet what screws to use

  4. SlimDog on December 24, 2021 at 7:56 pm

Light primer strikes doesn’t give me a warm and fuzzy kinda feel. I’ve had great success with all of my S&W’s, but I don’t have this pistol. Great vid man!

  5. G Smith on December 24, 2021 at 7:57 pm

Which screws are people using to mount the Holosun? Smith and Wesson was clueless as which to use. I know the plate is RMR but not necessarily the hardware.

  6. G P on December 24, 2021 at 7:59 pm

I’m going to wait for the shield plus trigger model to come out.

  7. North to Gladwin on December 24, 2021 at 8:00 pm

Would you trust your life on the optic mounting system

  8. Gene Vandenham on December 24, 2021 at 8:02 pm

I’m starting to seriously consider trying these new 2.0s out. I have carried a glock 19 for literally years and the more I do the more I get bored with them. Lol

  9. Mitchell Poll on December 24, 2021 at 8:03 pm

I had a problem with it catching a spent casing in the slide(stovepipe?). Can’t remember what ammo I was using but when I switched to minutemen munitions 9mm it stopped happening. Love their stuff, never had a problem with it and I’ll keep buying when I can!

  10. Phil Cryer on December 24, 2021 at 8:04 pm

€800( no optic) in Europe but if Uncle Jerry uses one ,its a bargain. Top ,clear ,fair review .Thanks

  11. S B on December 24, 2021 at 8:04 pm

Are they selling any of these with the red dot included? Can’t find any of these online. Anyone have a link or something?

  12. Eddie Archuleta on December 24, 2021 at 8:06 pm

The plastic optic plates are jokes

  13. Video Projects on December 24, 2021 at 8:07 pm

Anyone know what suppressor height sights those are?

  14. L17AR15 on December 24, 2021 at 8:07 pm

Which Core screws did u use to mount the 507c V2?

  15. SMG-91 on December 24, 2021 at 8:08 pm

Does Smith and wesson sell the slide only?

  16. Lior Bar-On on December 24, 2021 at 8:13 pm

This video helped me decide to buy a 5" CORE 2.0. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you Sir!

  17. 1q3er5 on December 24, 2021 at 8:14 pm

  18. richard martinez on December 24, 2021 at 8:19 pm

I’ve just purchased this model after viewing this review. I wanted to know where can I purchase or find 10 Round magazines for this model. Thanks & hope to get your feedback soon!

  19. 920 Tactical on December 24, 2021 at 8:20 pm

What do you think of the optics mounting system? Do you think the plastic spacer will fail? I currently have a M&P 2.0 Compact Optics Ready w/ a DPP. Wanting to get a C&H plate, but not sure yet…

  20. FGIALC Gorge on December 24, 2021 at 8:23 pm

Just bought the M&P Pro Series 2.0 in .40 in November. Got it a deal I think, $560. I bought the .40 because it allows you to go from .40 to .357 sig or 9mm(with 9mm mags). Have the conversion barrels. Haven’t had an issue. Absolutely love the gun. Much prefer it over my Glocks. Just feels better and the Pro Series trigger out of the box feels great.

  21. Sean McLean on December 24, 2021 at 8:24 pm

Is it possible to swap out regular slide for optics ready slide if I have a 2.0 4” slide I bought 2 years ago instead of buying a brand new one?

  22. My Topic’S & Opinion’S on December 24, 2021 at 8:24 pm

Lol tea Glocks I do not know why they don’t come with high sites and I didn’t even know I’ve always been a rifle person A.R. 15 person and I didn’t even know that both my MMP and Glock’s when I first bought them were optic ready MMP I just bought back in February the Glock about back in November

  23. Eric W on December 24, 2021 at 8:25 pm

You talk really fast but clear and concise. Good review.

  24. Benjamin on December 24, 2021 at 8:26 pm

    Carry/concealment holsters for 5" guns?

  25. Hernan Conchas on December 24, 2021 at 8:26 pm

anyone know how durable the plates are or should i just go straight to c&h?

  26. Warren Rosen on December 24, 2021 at 8:28 pm

Never met a lefty who moved the mag catch to the right side, including myself. We all use the trigger finger.

  27. SCJMO on December 24, 2021 at 8:28 pm

Nothings in stock, but I just discovered that Buds guns has a veteran/first responder discount program called Qualified Professional Program. You snap a pic of your ID/Creds and upload it. I haven’t used it yet but if you have please comment with your experience!

  28. Thomas Lopez on December 24, 2021 at 8:28 pm

Is this gun notorious for light strikes or was this just a fluke?

  29. IDeO on December 24, 2021 at 8:32 pm

I hope they put the Shield Plus trigger shoe all the M&Ps. Thise triggers are my favorite…

  30. Jay Houghton on December 24, 2021 at 8:33 pm

Great video, has your opinion of red dots changed from 5 years ago? I’m approaching 60 and need reading glasses now, so was thinking of getting a red dot, but only for target shooting for 25m and 50m, would a red dot help with this?

  31. E J on December 24, 2021 at 8:34 pm

I always change out to a stronger striker spring as soon as I get them. Shouldn’t have to but its the quickest way yo solve the issue.

  32. Thatbluetaco 18 on December 24, 2021 at 8:36 pm

    Suppressor night sights?

  33. E.L. Robbins on December 24, 2021 at 8:37 pm

I like the gun but hate the trigger. I had the same light primer strike problem. I sold it on GunBroker.

  34. Orlando Delgado on December 24, 2021 at 8:37 pm

Great informative video, looking to upgrade from my shield to this model. Do you EDC this model?

  35. Echoing Faithfully on December 24, 2021 at 8:37 pm

I believe there’s actually three drop safety sections designed into M&P handguns.

Since I own the gun and I’ve disassembled and reassembled it completely even removing the trigger group and the blocks that hold everything together I think I understand where it prevents accidental firings.

    • the trigger itself has a little lever that prevents the trigger from going rearward to release the sear

    • there is a little button that prevents the striker from being released and hitting the primer without the trigger being pulled

    • even if you slam the gun the sear will not release to the fully activated position (flat), firing the gun, without a trigger pull because there is a lever attached to the sear mechanism that blocks the free movement of the sear from activating without a trigger pull

  36. Warren Rosen on December 24, 2021 at 8:39 pm

About light hits: I have a batch of hand loads that I over crimped to the extent I got light hits in a Glock 34. The same ammo works fine in a MP. Go figure.

  37. TheTopSHOGUN on December 24, 2021 at 8:39 pm

    This or g17 MOS. Go…

  38. Wayne Lassiter on December 24, 2021 at 8:39 pm

What screws did you use to mount the holosun

  39. Georgia Shooter on December 24, 2021 at 8:40 pm

After 12 years of a Glock 19 I’m finally gonna change my EDC to an optics ready pistol. Still don’t know which one I’m gonna go with, but I really like this one. Thanks for the good info as always

  40. Just In on December 24, 2021 at 8:40 pm

light strikes are bothersome; that is an engineering problem.

  41. 𝓥𝓵𝓪𝓭 on December 24, 2021 at 8:41 pm

For folks who don’t like pressing a trigger on an empty gun: why buy a gun in the first place? 😎

  42. Brassjunkie on December 24, 2021 at 8:43 pm

I got the s&w pro series long it didn’t come with plates it’s the 9mm I’d like to put the RmR on mine how should I start I called the gunsmith and got the price for the cut they said I’d need plates

  43. Yeet Cannon Outfitters on December 24, 2021 at 8:44 pm

After I get my Sig M17 off layaway I’m getting the Smith and Wesson M&P Core 2.0 with holosun 507k from my local gun store!

  44. Woodrow Kirk on December 24, 2021 at 8:45 pm

    What is a light strike?

  45. Carlos E on December 24, 2021 at 8:46 pm

Core pro series, I like that

  46. chgofirefighter on December 24, 2021 at 8:47 pm

M&P is a nice platform, it’s just missing usable front slide serrations. Not sure why they decided to design this pistol without real usable front slide serration for doing press checks and other competitive/combative manipulations.

  47. engineer272 on December 24, 2021 at 8:50 pm

Picked mine up today!! Thank you for the review! Always top notch detailed info!

  48. Julian Johnson on December 24, 2021 at 8:52 pm

    Such a great pistol

  49. Nathaniel Smith on December 24, 2021 at 8:54 pm
