As soon as you said "clip" instead of "magazine" I stopped watching. Yes, there is a difference.

Commercial. 308 Winchester and 7.62 NATO/M 80 are 2 different rounds with different loading specs. Commercial 308 Winchester is actually loaded a bit hotter. That explains the shift in impact. Different bullet weights or profiles. 5 R riffling was developed commercially by Remington. It was also used in eastern block AK rifles. The lands in the riffling are rounded or Radialized instead of a sharp 90 degree angle. Think of the polygonal rifling Glock used smooth edges. Remington used it on the M 24 sniper rifle for the Army. Knight used it on their AR 10’s. The M&P 10 with the 18 in barrel is one of the best AR 10 rifles on the market. The best by far in it’s price range. Great rifle and yes, it will be hell on deer.

Thank you for making the vid. I own the same rifle.
Considering light weight, reliability and cost it has to be among the best out there. Mine loves 168gr AMax bullets loaded with Varget. It will put 5 on a quarter at 100yds. Such a handy useful rifle. Im a big fan.

I installed some different furniture on mine. Midwest Industries 13” MLok handguard definately improved the handling. Enjoy your rifle!!
