Nice 22mag great shooting. This is one round I never did warm up to much as it seems attention to detail on the rifles and void of target ammo just never excited me. What’s the saying only fun rifle is an accurate rifle. Well this seems to be a TON of fun πŸ˜‚ — me talking to myself — STAY OUT OF THAT RABBIT HOLE Buffalo is trying to cause you trouble.

Great video Buffalo. Just ordered a TriStar G2 in 28ga after watching your videos on it. Ready to hit some grouse this fall.

  4. The Hide on December 4, 2021 at 10:45 pm

Great video Buffalo. I reviewed the B22 in 22lr and still can’t get over the accuracy of that rifle. Glad to see the 22mag holds true as well!

  5. Elmo Fuddleputt on December 4, 2021 at 10:47 pm

I recently bought the left handed version of this rifle. Do recommend.

Great video and a nice setup on the rifle to Buffalo.Thanks.

Thanks for another great video. I shot my CZ MTR that I bought because of your videos about a week ago. I think it’s going to be really accurate, although it was a very windy day, which opened my groups up quite a bit.

  8. harley36592 on December 4, 2021 at 10:49 pm

I have the same rifle in 22lr, love it. I think I got the same bipod as you from Amazon.

  9. Keith Passant on December 4, 2021 at 10:50 pm

Glad to see you got rid of the flooding. Great looking gun. And sweet accuracy. Or is that the guy squeezing the trigger. Hope you feel better soon boss.

Is that muzzle brake for 22LR? I can’t find one specifically for 22WMR

Amazing. Footage of you shooting with picture in picture of the target and the chrono. Very cool

I too went with the .22 WMR. Put a Bushnell Prime on mine but to get the BDC reticle to work as designed I have to use .22 WRF (1320 fps vs WMR @ 1875 fps) which I can’t find at moment. Not Bushnells fault but mine for creating a Frankenstein. The "Prime" is calibrated for .22 LR ( ~1250- 1300 fps). Yanked it and slapped a MUELLER 40Γ—56 on it. Looks like I’ve got as much scope as I do gun!! VERY narrow field of view but I can see a fly crawling on the target at a hundred! (Thought I had one of those wild-a** fliers until it moved across the target. Yeah I got a good chuckle from that too.)
Got the same type of bi-pod also. Mine’s a UTG I got from EXTREEM TACTICAL [around $24]. Mine doesn’t have the excessive wobble as you showed on yours.
Ordered the rifle 3 months after it debuted at the Shot Show for $450. Glad I didn’t wait. πŸ™‚ Love this rifle.

Dont break the 1 mag they give you….oh boy they are hard to come by

  23. THE WOKE-ING DEAD on December 4, 2021 at 11:06 pm

I used to have the FVSR in 22LR, what a tack driver but just hated the stock, traded it in on a Ruger precision rifle (it was near brand new and got it at a great price) in 22LR, and is as good, but would have liked the Savage precision better. I still have my Savage model 25 pump, around 100 years old and still shots well. I own 3 rifles in 22M but as much as I love 22M I can reload 223 subs that preform the same as a 22M at way cheaper, I think the cost of 22M (here in Aussieland) has kinda killed 22M of some what.

  24. Tony Rome on December 4, 2021 at 11:07 pm

Buffalo, nice video, glad to see you back. I have a standard Ruger America .22 WMR. Paid about $350. Nowhere near as nice as your Savage; not a precision stock. However mine shoots 0.5" to 0.6" groups at 100 yards from a rest (2 to 7x Redfield scope, trigger adjusted to 2 pounds). I use mine for varmint hunting; off hand I can hit squirrel size targets easily from 70 to 100 yards, no problem CCI 30 gr WMR ammo). I think the Savage is a great deal for a precision target rifle, the Ruger seems like the best deal for a .22 WMR target gun. I bet you could stretch your rifle way out beyond 100 yards!

  25. KolyaNick on December 4, 2021 at 11:08 pm

I own a semi 22lr and a bolt cz 17hmr. Wondered for years about swapping them both for a semi wmr – especially cant stop watching videos on them!

  26. cekamsr on December 4, 2021 at 11:08 pm

That’s a nice rifle, dead on precise! It’s definitely a lot more accurate than the homemade zip gun I made in my garage! LOL

  27. jim yeats on December 4, 2021 at 11:09 pm

I’m getting a β€œFirefly” vibe from the background music combined with shooting guns. Love it.

Great looking rifle! Did I miss the size of the group? I’m curious.
    Enjoying your work!
    God bless all here.

  35. Nick J on December 4, 2021 at 11:23 pm

Looks like a really good rifle, in regards to the price you get what you pay for.
Is the ammo hard to come by ? Love the palm swell on the grip and the bolt
does really look substantial. It looks like a fun rifle to relax with and shoot
some precision 22. Some of those FPS numbers were impressive. Love the
trigger :-)) thanks for the review.

  36. Terry Swensen on December 4, 2021 at 11:24 pm

You have the only review on this rifle in 22 magnum that I can find. I want one bad 😲 hopefully I’ll be able to find one.

  37. jay Andre on December 4, 2021 at 11:25 pm

That intro music is very nice. It’s sounds like an intro music to a movie!! Where can I find it? Sorry, didn’t click on the ”show more" I found it

That little swinger at 100 yards, Buffalo showing off. Good to see you on your feet. I have a Savage rimfire in 17HMR, and love it. Dialing back that accutrigger gives it a nice light touch.

Please excuse me for posting another’s gun channel, but this is important. We are all in this together.
Attention Gun Owners. Due to the 50/50 split in the US Senate, gun ownership in America will be a thing of the past if the Democrats revoke the filibuster. Please watch the short G&G video, AND contact Senator Joe Manchin lll. Politely ask him to vote to uphold the filibuster.
I just did it and it took about 2 minutes.

  44. Jim Davis on December 4, 2021 at 11:34 pm

I watched this video several times and one on 22 Plinkster of the lr version.. Sportsmans Warehouse in Fresno has had this in the 22lr on sale, @50 off, and today the last day of the sale I bought it.. The one sold by SW has a blue titainium coated body. Not too fond of that , erfer the black. ,,,oh well it’s available and that amazing..Won’t get to do the feelier/touch til the 8th and then 10 day wait for the BG check.. Buying a gun in CA is like going through esrow on a house… Surprised I can actually buy this in CA since it has a pistol grip. You can’t buy a Ruger American Percision 22.. It has the evil barrel shroud and a pistol grip… Well got it coming before more restrictive gun law are shoved down our throats in CA..

  45. R. Akers on December 4, 2021 at 11:34 pm

So, that is what the .22 mag is for… rat hunting at 100 yards! Great shooting.

  46. Tom Jones on December 4, 2021 at 11:35 pm

That right there is the same rifle im looking at. Either the 22 or the 22mag. I have a Ruger American 22mag but I’ve been looking at that gun hard. But I might get the 22lr. Cause I already have a good 17hmr and 22mag but it would be mag that my wife hasn’t taken over. That Ruger is pretty much been claimed by the wife. Thanks for making me want it even more Buffalo.
