Savage B22 Magnum FV

Savage B22 Magnum FV

A review of the Savage B22 Magnum FV. Want to feel like a sniper but have a limited budget and limited space? This rifle has great looks, price and plenty of fun in it’s rotary magazine. Great accuracy and plenty of power to take care of an annoying varmint issue.

That magazine looks like it’s about to fall a part. Have you had any issues with it? Good video!

Can you shoot .22lr through it like.38 through a .357?

At a hundred yards or is zero drop. 200 yards is 17 inch drop

Let me get this straight. You are still shooting to the right at 50 yards and you call it sighted in. Then you shoot another 5 rounds, still to the right. Lastly you shoot a large black metal target at 100 yards. I sight in all my rimfires out to 100 yards. Even .22s.

just put mine in a Boyds Pro Varmint and OMG the difference is night and day. The rifle itself is amazingly accurate. But the oem stock is only good if you hold the rifle 100% the same for every shot. So off hand and off the bipod will have different poi/poa. I have the same exact rifle. Savage B22FV Magnum.

from the background mountain scenery at the 1st of this video,it looks like my part of Appalachia,,southwestern part of Virginia. These look to be excellent rifles, especially with the rotary magazines.

No hearing protection? A little risky even though it’s a 22

Very nice review, good and thorough specs you got on there. Got mine yesterday and I like it, just was wondering if anyone else liked it? Guess it’s a pretty solid gun for the price! Thanks!

I would have thought for a bull barrel it would shoot a group better than that. I have a marlin .22Lr that shoots better than that by far at 50 yadds, an have a 40 yr old marlin 782 that shoots 1/2 " groups all day long an it’s only got a medium contour barrel, is it possible that something was loose, to cold,to windy, etc, etc.
