Tell them to redesign that stupid floating shell extractor. It makes a good rifle near useless.

  2. Raul Hernandez on November 7, 2021 at 8:04 pm

    No more Remington r1’s?

  3. phrotojoe on November 7, 2021 at 8:04 pm

I live near Ilion NY and can’t find ammo.I also heard that the CEO’s of Remington took all the guns from the Remington Museum for themselves, the Museum is closed ,there are cars in the parking lot of Remington but not many.

Good to see Remington ammo again. I’m 60 and Remington has been my favorite since I was a kid.

  12. Frank Castle on November 7, 2021 at 8:17 pm

I’ll never buy anything with the Remington name on it again.

  16. Sid Walker on November 7, 2021 at 8:21 pm

Not much in the line of news

  17. Marcos smith on November 7, 2021 at 8:22 pm

I got my Gun from *Dumpsdark* on telegram at affordable price ..he sells the best gun ever

  18. Zlittle16 on November 7, 2021 at 8:24 pm

Remington ammo may come back IF it ever makes it to the shelves at a reasonable price. Remington firearms is finished though I think. Anything "new" that comes out will be new old stock from the last few years who’s QC and workmanship is terrible.

  19. Tex 1680 on November 7, 2021 at 8:25 pm

Goodness me… Rem Arms Quality Control has dropped so low for everything they got. Hopefully Remington ammunition doesn’t follow that trend.

  20. MrD InME. on November 7, 2021 at 8:27 pm

Thanks for the updates. Have you heard anything on TC? Any buyers or interested parties? I have got nothing on that one. Thank you again sir.

I do not deal with any company that does not answer their phone. During the pandemic close down I used several new companies for different products. I just tried to find some answers from Remington about their ammo. No reply, no sale!

  24. El Ingeniero on November 7, 2021 at 8:29 pm

So now we have a monopoly with Federal/CCI/Remington and Winchester the only two left standing. All the others are pipsqueaks that can be shut down the moment Netanyahu or whomever is the ruler the servile, debt ridden american colonies orders a shut down of primer production.

  25. Ed on November 7, 2021 at 8:29 pm

There’s very little ammo on the shelves. I’ve been to Cabela’s, Bass Pro, Academy Sports, the Gun show at the Georgia Fair Grounds, they have a little handgun ammo, then tables of obscure ammo. But no one will ever post a photo of a box of ammo with a manufacturers date of 2021. The blatant lying about ammo being manufactured is galling.

I bought a 250 round box of Remington 380 95 gn ball last week. $140, 5 boxes of 50. The first box I pulled out of the package was empty! Nothing but air. The rest are full.
How is that for crappy quality control?

  28. American Flying Hawk on November 7, 2021 at 8:34 pm

Let me break it down because Mr. "
Gun News & Reviews " is either new to the game or isn’t smart enough to ask the right questions….like, 1) what ammo manufacturer uses ‘Star-Line’ brass? Answer…NONE! Since there aren’t 8 million new people that decided to reload ammunition then, 2) why can’t we find Star-Line shell casings…is there a brass shortage? Canada won’t ship any Arms related items to the U.S. now, WHY? You panty-waste youtuber’s are deluded if you can’t see what’s happening! Our enemy ( weather foreign or domestic ) doesn’t want us to have guns! Period!!!!!

  33. Snap Ring Chronicles on November 7, 2021 at 8:39 pm

Walked into Dick’s Sporting Goods yesterday and on the shelf they had a Remington 870 security model, 6 shot tube. So looks like they’re already shipping.

  34. DareToBeDeviant on November 7, 2021 at 8:40 pm

My usual is Federal Premium, Fiocchi, CCI Blazer (all 9mm) and Magtech (.44 mag). Winchester tends to fail on me and Remington has always been laughed at whenever it was brought up for recommendation. So I stick to my usual brands to avoid disappointment and wasted money.

  35. Chet Haynes on November 7, 2021 at 8:42 pm

    Thank you

  36. Zigbee Gooblesnort on November 7, 2021 at 8:43 pm

0 Remington ammo in Kentucky, and very little Federal, Winchester dribs and drabs.

  37. Jeffrey Carroll on November 7, 2021 at 8:43 pm

Havent seen shit for sale of Remington ammo in Jacksonville fla.
I get all the big ammo sales companies emails as well and no Remington ammo.

  38. Robert Omo on November 7, 2021 at 8:48 pm

I heard that the remington ammo is having issues,, some of the gun stores I go to are having problems with remington,, heard some of the cases are coming cracked.. was told to check every round.. I won’t be buying any remington any time soon,,

  39. William Collins on November 7, 2021 at 8:49 pm

Remington use to make good stuff .
    How’s the present "Quality" !!!
    Only time will tell !!!
    Cheaper doesn’t mean "Better" !!!

  40. Mike on November 7, 2021 at 8:49 pm

The first thing they need to do is GET OUT OF NEW YORK !!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. U.P. Woodtick on November 7, 2021 at 8:49 pm

The Ruger Mini 14 I bought recently really liked the Remington 55gr SP’s, I hope the new batch is as good as what I have left.

  42. mandolinman2006 on November 7, 2021 at 8:52 pm

In regards to Remington Ammo, I hope they’re doing it better than the Federal Premium. I got some that the case was crumpled on one side. They offered to exchange the box, but I kept it. Figured I could make a dummy round.

  43. ImNate xv on November 7, 2021 at 8:53 pm

Do you think the scoped model 783 will make a comeback sometime soon? I see them all over out of stock:/

  44. Richard Flora on November 7, 2021 at 8:53 pm

I just bought a brand new V3 it’s not bad it’s a really good gun I still love my original 1100 from 1980 but my son needed something to shoot skeet with I just didn’t want to part of my 1100 right now. Only thing is I wish they would come up with a better way to do the serial numbers instead of some Mickey mouse letter equals and number stuff just put the year and date on it be done with it at least my 1903 A3 actually had the year on it with the barrel.

  45. Kain 8719 on November 7, 2021 at 8:55 pm

Remington does not make great ammo. Hot news, shot their STS ammo at a state shoot the other week, have 46, count that, not 1, not 2, not 12, 46 shells that were jacked up, crushed, over crimped, or just straight jacked up out of not 1000 rounds, not 500, but a 250 round case. This is their premium line. Not their economy line, which even then this wouldn’t be acceptable, but their flagship premium line. I’ve reached out not a word from them in coming up on a week. I’ve also had issues with Federal Gold medal Match .223 ammo this year and federal champion ammo. At this point I am having a really hard time finding a reason to give Vista a red cent because at this point if their premium lines have popping issues out the door how long before someone grenades their gun?

    The age of delayed communication.

  49. oncall21 on November 7, 2021 at 9:00 pm

Thanks for sharing! I have a feeling that the 7600 pump rifle may be one rifle we won;t be seeing. As an Aussie I hope I’m wrong!
