Here is a behind the scenes look at Radical Firearms. A walkthrough of their facility located in Houston, Texas…

While I was in Texas for the Primary Arms 2021 Range Day, I got an invitation to check out Radical Firearms’ facility. It is pretty awesome. They machine most everything in house for their AR-15s and even do some really cool additive manufacturing (3D printed metal) suppressors.

I really haven’t heard anything good about Radical which is unfortunate.

  4. G MAN on December 6, 2021 at 11:37 pm

there is a video on youtube testing one out, they put 4000 rounds non-stop without a problem! can’t remember who made the video. thank you it was a great vid!

  5. Scott Saylors on December 6, 2021 at 11:37 pm

I’ve heard so many bad things about radical and almost no good.

  6. EWHOSHOOTS on December 6, 2021 at 11:39 pm

After your reviews on their .762 I threw them in the trash as a company. Until i found out they were local to me and with their prices I gave them a try. I bought their 10.5 FCR upper with out the CH or BCG for $279 a year ago.I added a BCM Ambi CH and a Toolcraft BCG then slapped it on a Aero M4E1 pistol lower and 2,000 ish rounds in and I’ve had 1 light primer strike.

I’ve seen a radical that was labeled 5.56 and the hole in the bore was not 5.56. It was a gaping fucking hole. Way bigger than any 5.56 I’ve ever seen. It was weird. Just looking at the barrel you knew something was wrong.

  9. DTRN on December 6, 2021 at 11:43 pm

They have a special "good" line for some customers and not others? Lmao just make all of your products good.

  10. Aries on December 6, 2021 at 11:44 pm

I own one. now issue’s with it.

  11. Martavious Buchanan on December 6, 2021 at 11:45 pm

  12. Digital Nuggets on December 6, 2021 at 11:46 pm

They have come along way in the past few years.

  13. Adam Grantham on December 6, 2021 at 11:50 pm

I support Radical Firearms just because they’re one of the handful of companies who mill their lowers to actual m16 spec.

  14. InGlockWeTrust on December 6, 2021 at 11:54 pm

Straight up I’d buy their 7.62*39 AR as an on deck to my back up’s back up.

  15. Vinniy Savoy on December 6, 2021 at 11:57 pm

I really hope the QC improves. They could compete with PSA if they do. I had to send back an upper. It was returned to me in 3 days and it was fixed (so far).

  16. none ya fucking buisness on December 6, 2021 at 11:58 pm

After you had to send that 7.62×39 AR back multiple times for it to function correctly I’ll take a hard pass on this company.

  17. Seth Hughes on December 6, 2021 at 11:59 pm

Awesome capabilities, somebody is dropping the ball frequently and honestly… it’s time to tighten up the crew…

I happen to really like RF. Not only do they have good quality pistols/rifles, but they have some very friendly staff and their customer service is awesome. I have a Radical Firearms AR and it has worked flawlessly. It was nice to see this tour. I’d loooove to visit RF myself sometime and meet Travis in person. 🇺🇸

I have a radical firearms FRC 15. The ONLY issue I ever had was fitment from upper to lower receiver. The tolerances could be better but that little red button that goes in your lower will shore that up.

Great Father💯💯 Thank you for your Service👍🏽

  22. Jonathan Wick on December 7, 2021 at 12:09 am

If their QC was a little better than I’d definitely consider picking up one of their 7.62×39 uppers. Right now I’d put Radical Firearms maybe slightly above Bear Creek Arsenal.

Great video. Cool stuff. Love to see Radical grow and up their quality.

  24. 556bc on December 7, 2021 at 12:20 am

LoL, Radical. I’ve seen several of their rifles fail hard. A friend (who had one and also had problems) recommended them to other friends simply because "mADe iN houSTOn TExaS BrOs". Guess what? they had problems too. But but, they went directly to the shop and they took care of them because LoCaL BroS. Maybe Radical should just make something not shit to begin with?

  25. Alpha Omega on December 7, 2021 at 12:23 am

I look forward to seeing things progress for this company. We need as many manufacturers here in USA as possible. Jobs jobs Jobs.great USA 🇺🇸

This was awesome. I love watching the actual industry side of my products. I didn’t know rad was this type of company.
