does it use the same BCG as the .223/5.56?

  2. Phil Clodfelter on November 12, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Check out Fail Zero Nickel Boron BCG, I’ve ran them in my 300 blackout, 25-45 SRC, 5.56. Clean up quick and the 5.56 has over 2K rounds. AR-Stoner SS barrel

  3. Je P on November 12, 2021 at 10:31 pm

Does it have the spec 2 chambering? Thanks

  4. BigRest on November 12, 2021 at 10:33 pm

Which model 4×14 primary arms scope are you running? I have the 20" setup and I’m looking at a primary scope too. They just have about 5-6 different options in 4×14

  5. rioaguanegra on November 12, 2021 at 10:34 pm

Try the ACS magazines…zero issues for the 4 mags I have

  6. JB on November 12, 2021 at 10:34 pm

    Bill made grendel mags

  7. JB on November 12, 2021 at 10:34 pm

I don’t understand the hype over m4 feed ramps unless you are shooting fully automatic. they aren’t needed in semi auto.

  8. Je P on November 12, 2021 at 10:34 pm

What magazine did you get with it?

  9. T D B on November 12, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Wouldn’t really call Grendel a wildcat. Type 2 has had SAAMI spec for some time now.

Nice build, nice shooting. Have fun. Be safe. God bless.

  10. rioaguanegra on November 12, 2021 at 10:37 pm

    I like the brake….looks good

  11. Garrett Clark on November 12, 2021 at 10:39 pm

anyone else having short stroke issues on the bolt with the Radical Firearms upper receiver?

  12. frogman jack on November 12, 2021 at 10:40 pm

what type of scope you using I’m having trouble hearing what you say you get the scope from radical arms

  13. alex schmidt on November 12, 2021 at 10:41 pm

The BC and bolt with this upper are nitrided, actually the BCG looks like it’s made by Toolcraft. Nitriding beats chrome 10 outta 10. 9310 steel for the bolt => C-158 IMHO.

    Good video 🇺🇸 👍

  15. jjmckay6man1 on November 12, 2021 at 10:42 pm

very nice rifle! She is a shooter for sure!

  16. OPD574 on November 12, 2021 at 10:44 pm

what buffer weight are you using with this upper? will carbine work or is an H2/H3 needed?

  17. Lucas Ruchti on November 12, 2021 at 10:45 pm

I bought this gun and I’ve probably put at least 200+ rounds in it. It seems to throw a lot of gas in my face and other stuff. Why may that be?

  18. Malik Rogers on November 12, 2021 at 10:46 pm

Thank you so much for sharing I actually plan on obtaining this upper for a hunting rifle.

  19. JRR Armory on November 12, 2021 at 10:47 pm

Thanks for the video. Question on the rail, the side keymod slots seem to be cut backwards, any idea why?

  20. Hedley Lamarr on November 12, 2021 at 10:49 pm

    What ammo did you use?

  21. PistolPete Lamar on November 12, 2021 at 10:50 pm

    nice results!

  22. JOSH Pittman on November 12, 2021 at 10:50 pm

How much was the upper and did your groups tighten up any?? Great review!

  23. recklesswhisper on November 12, 2021 at 10:51 pm

    Excellent!
    ^..^~~

  24. Sky Man on November 12, 2021 at 10:53 pm

    5.56 : 0  !    The 6.5 Gren : )  !  its that simple !  V!  Peace Out !

  25. James Long on November 12, 2021 at 10:54 pm

This is my build except I went with the Luth-ar stock been dying to shoot it. Nice shooting that Grendel is a laser!

  26. Robert West on November 12, 2021 at 10:57 pm

Was that .488 group at 100? And what ammo does it like. I have a 20” coming to me.

  27. ProudNavyDad SWO-N on November 12, 2021 at 10:58 pm

What’s the range on that set up?

  28. SP Detectors on November 12, 2021 at 10:59 pm

I got one with 20 inch barrel when the price was $600 🙂 for complete rifle .Now is piston rifle.Did You try the WPA Russian $7 ammo?

  29. jmc235 on November 12, 2021 at 11:04 pm

How does it balance and handle with the 24" tube? I tree stand hunt in the south, so I’m torn between the 20 or 24"… I want the 24 for the velocity, but I’m afraid it may be awkward and clumsy in the tree… Any opinion?

  30. LaMonte Kendrick on November 12, 2021 at 11:05 pm

    Kendrick historian-poet
I have the same rifle but with a 6 x16x56 millet 24 inch barrel. It appears to be a nice rifle, but I have not had a chance to shoot it yet. I can’t find any ammo under 26.00 for 20 round. Sniping might be fun but shooting paper just ain’t worth it. I quest I will just order 500 rounds of wolf 100.

  31. Conner Richter on November 12, 2021 at 11:08 pm

Is the bolt an actual 6.5 bolt or just a 5.56 bolt with the bolt head re-faced to fit the 6.5?

  32. poncoolride on November 12, 2021 at 11:10 pm

It’s nitrided on the inside and out not blued. I think it’s better than crome.

  33. Dgunnut on November 12, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Sweet gun and great video. Just subbed. 6.5 Grendel is likely an upper I will be adding. What part of WI are you at? I’m West of Madison.

  34. Pedro Perez on November 12, 2021 at 11:12 pm

Who makes that free float handrail?

  35. Dorito World Order on November 12, 2021 at 11:12 pm

Maybe I missed it, but what was the distance on that group with the PPU 110gr ammo you show at the end of the video?

  36. John G. Doe on November 12, 2021 at 11:13 pm

Ordered exact upper based off this video, hopefully mine shoots this good

  37. SCComega on November 12, 2021 at 11:14 pm

    Diamond Like Carbon > TiCN > TiCrN > NiB-X > NP3+ > TiAlN > NP3 > NiB > TiN > QPQ Nitride > single-bath black nitride > calcinated > chome > phosphate

in terms of best coatings / treatements or BCGs, as far as I’m aware. If I’m not mistaken, the BCG on the RF’ is single-bath nitrided, which is harder, and has a lower coefficient of friction than chrome. Plus being a treatment rather than a coating, shouldn’t wear as easily. I say, "should be" as their 5.56 basic BCG is "melonite" which is usually single-bath nitriding. (though rarely, multi bath aka QPQ treatments may be referred to as melonite for marketing)

  38. JettyDeke on November 12, 2021 at 11:14 pm

The break looks like it is built into the barrel, is it actually threaded and removable?

  39. Rachel P. on November 12, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Can you add a update to this video? hows the round count, what ammo are you using. Can you post some accuracy test @250- @300 @600

  40. guerrierodelgiaguaro on November 12, 2021 at 11:17 pm

Great video! How heavy is that wonderful rifle?

  41. juniorimac on November 12, 2021 at 11:18 pm

    Can’t buy PPU anymore

  42. Tim Roberge on November 12, 2021 at 11:20 pm

I bought 2 AR Stoner magazines as well, a 5 round and a 10 round. The 10 round works perfect and the 5 round is really tight in the mag well.

  43. ScubaSteve303 on November 12, 2021 at 11:23 pm

Awesome rifle! You may want to ease up on the amount of oil on your bcg. It could migrate into the chamber which may cause stove piping and wash out as well as getting into the magazine which can cause feeding issues. GunBlue490 has really good videos that cover this. Just some friendly advice.
