Canadians say NO NO NO to bill C21 completely! The whole bill must go right away, and the lying Fiberals must go first chance we get at the polling station!
Also very important, defunding mainstream bogus misleading news!

  2. Mo Mentum on March 31, 2023 at 2:52 am

Good. This was an absolute breach of public trust. And the entire bill C21 is absolute nonsense. Major waste of tax payer money. IT’S NOT LAW ABIDING CITIZENS YOU HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT

  3. becky karenson on March 31, 2023 at 2:53 am

this is called THE DOOR IN THE FACE TECHNIQUE. Look it up it was always the plan. Never let the government steal your legally obtained property

Janice McGregor mentioned a first nations leader advocating for "traditional" hunting rights. Traditional hunting typically refers to the practice of hunting using methods and tools that have been used for generations, such as spears, bows, and traps. The use of firearms, particularly modern military-style weapons like the M16, is generally not considered traditional hunting.

  7. J Coleman on March 31, 2023 at 2:55 am

Hey CBC what happened to your Fiberals? This must be a lil egg on the face eh! You’ve been instrumental with your incomplete on purpose journalism supporting Fiberal twisted narratives and now what, your still not credible! Your getting defunded right after the next election!

WE ,in the U.S. are so fortunate to have the Second Amendment , it’s straight forward with no compromise . " The RIGHT to bear ARMS shall not be infringed upon " !!!

  11. Mo Mentum on March 31, 2023 at 3:01 am

Thumbs down for calling legal firearms; weapons. Your bias is showing CBC. Do better.

  12. Brick Johnstone on March 31, 2023 at 3:01 am

All they’ve done is pressed the pause button… we haven’t heard or seen the last of the libs road to totalitarian government overreach .

As a person who plays airsoft this bill has made me angry. I play airsoft as a sport much in the way of hockey, lacrosse, baseball, etc. The government has now taken away another thing I like

  15. BackcountryBoss on March 31, 2023 at 3:04 am

#TrudeauMustGo He’s accomplished absolutely nothing in 8 years of being in office but raising our taxes and food prices and trying to take Canadians rights away sickening.

  16. Syl P on March 31, 2023 at 3:04 am

Funny, it’s only an assault style rifle when it’s owned by lawful firearms owners. When owned by police agencies it’s a carabine rifle.

  17. Along on March 31, 2023 at 3:05 am

    😂😂😂

  18. Andrew on March 31, 2023 at 3:06 am

Imagine a fire department going door to door dumping water on everyone’s bbq, while ignoring a huge structure fire one street over. Thats what bill C-21 is doing.

  19. Ronnie on March 31, 2023 at 3:07 am

OK, They’re not "Weapons". They are firearms.

  20. azthar z on March 31, 2023 at 3:08 am

I have 20k in LEGALLY obtained rifles. Unbelievable that they proposed to confiscate them without any compensation. I will NEVER forget, and now I will donate my yearly donations to canadian firearms lobbyists.

  21. Four Foot 8 and a Bit on March 31, 2023 at 3:08 am

Interestingly, it didn’t take an armed rebellion to get government to back off. Obviously, these rabid gun owners are actually sane, law abiding citizens who are made up of good stuff.

  22. Tim Olheiser on March 31, 2023 at 3:10 am

As Bill C-21 stands today will cause sports shooting to end this generation, because when your handgun, AR15 are gone or break and cannot be repaired, 3-gun sports shooting will end, Olympic shooters will cease to compete, and new shooters, that handgun and Olympic shooting need to draw from for elite shooters, will stop, and cease the shooting sports. This bill needs to be scrapped. Full stop. Legal vetted gun owners need the publics support because even hunters are being cancelled. We need bail reform and to have violent criminals with stiffer sentences.

  25. Bike Dude on March 31, 2023 at 3:14 am

Stil all BS. The Liberals have no definition of assault “style” weapons. Their thought of assault “style” actually doesn’t exist ib Canada. CBC has lost their way.

  27. Moose Racks on March 31, 2023 at 3:18 am

Round one might be over….BUT NO worries folks…Trudoo wants REVENGE against ALL CANADIANS…
.AND GARRENTEE …TRUDOO AND HIS CORUPT GOVERNMENT WILL FIND ANOTHER WAY THE CONFISCATE ALL FIREARMS

  28. George Davidson on March 31, 2023 at 3:18 am

I have a bolt action repeater 22 used for rodent control ,skunks , raccoons and coyotes. How can you live in rural Canada without you or your neighbour having a gun

  29. dennisrphy Murphy on March 31, 2023 at 3:19 am

There is no justification for taking away individuals’ freedom in the guise of public safety.
    Thomas Jefferson

  30. Ryan R on March 31, 2023 at 3:20 am

After the protests and executing the emergencies act, now they just blatantly take our guns away. This seems very much like tyranny. They don’t want us to have our guns, so they can completely crush us if they provoke a very serious protest.

  31. Carlo Gervasi on March 31, 2023 at 3:21 am

Just goe’s to show you how much of a snake theTrudass is.PUKE

  32. tyler hine on March 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

I woulda love to see them try and take it ! Good choice squashing it!

  33. M D on March 31, 2023 at 3:23 am

Why are they calling it weapons 🤔

  34. Cory on March 31, 2023 at 3:26 am

Toss the entire bill and CBC in the garage. Street crime in major cities has nothing to do with rural living. Crime is never a result of legal weapons. The best ppl i know with firearm safety are the legal pistol owners. This entire bill is junk.

  35. Almac x on March 31, 2023 at 3:26 am

your entire job is to speak clearly and fluently, not to give your opinion… get the first one right before doing the latter please

Liberals Still Want all Your guns… Do not think this is over for Rural Canada.

  37. ChingoFlow on March 31, 2023 at 3:28 am

    Assault ?

  38. Ian X on March 31, 2023 at 3:29 am

Dang, Canada has really gone off the deep end. Freezing bank assets of peaceful protesters, tamping down on free speech, now banning of firearms. Yikes. Becoming a proper authoritarian state.

  39. S Key on March 31, 2023 at 3:30 am

Liberals cant define "assault style" because it doesn’t exist
Its a weasel word that JT and Marco love to use

  40. Little White boy on March 31, 2023 at 3:30 am

They can’t do nothing and they don’t get guns only bullets

  41. Chris Minister of Smartarsery on March 31, 2023 at 3:30 am

This isn’t over, the corrupt liberals & their dishonest media (👆🏻) aren’t done, simply delayed in trying to disarm the entire country.

  42. ALARIC BARBER on March 31, 2023 at 3:30 am

she needs to stop calling them "weapons".
I don’t own "weapons" I am a sportsmen and own firearms to practice my hobby/sport.

  43. M Rance on March 31, 2023 at 3:32 am

Anyone who thinks banning guns is for our benefit, clearly has to much faith in there government. Just wait until the day they disarm us and try to control us. What are you going to do then? Any logical person would want the right to defend themselves, don’t put so much faith in your government. They day we are unarmed, is the day we are no better then cattle.

  44. Prancer 180 on March 31, 2023 at 3:35 am

All the guns should be banned then everyone can be safe

  45. Natasza Waters on March 31, 2023 at 3:39 am

Sounds to me like that reporter is suggesting that ONLY conservatives own guns and see this is a victory. WRONG!

  46. Bow Bender on March 31, 2023 at 3:40 am

Now we need to go after bill C11. This permits the Trudeau government to allow what you can and can not view. But I’m sure they wouldn’t abuse it…. lol

  47. BNG on March 31, 2023 at 3:46 am

The entire C-21 should be scrapped

  48. Martin Riley on March 31, 2023 at 3:46 am

Why would the Liberals really care about canceling Amendments? When they can get rid literally everything through the "Variant" clause in the main bill… I think they have just decided to go this route to eliminate Conservative talking points on banning hunting rifles. Make no mistake, Sock boy and his little band of thugs will never give up trying to implement a firearm free Canada.

  49. Cole Mair on March 31, 2023 at 3:48 am

They’re doing the bait and switch maneuver again. They’ll propose something unrealistic then push something else that’ll take a chunk out of the legal owners so both sides can say they won but they’ll do the same thing next year they’ll chip away at the gun ownership untill there is nothing left then move on to something else. like knife laws 🤢
