Not a fan of the single action OTF, especially one that costs $2300. You’d think for that much money it would have the ultimate, automatic mechanism. Ben misspoke on the DA mechanism, they don’t have two separate springs for deployment and retraction, they have two springs but both work together in each direction. Just search how an OTF knife works for a myriad of videos that show how they work. These guys need to watch one. I hope microtech sends a driver for those screw heads, where are you going to find one for that triangle looking thing? I can’t believe they don’t have the $30 Schrade 1st gen. OTF that is single action on the table.

Oooh. I would like to try out an OTF knife. I think I might save my money for a Microtech in the future, got a knife seller chain in my state that probably sells them. For know they sell cheap 20 dollar ones, gonna probably get one. I know I’ll be getting what I pay for, but right now I think I wanna use most of my money on a Boker K.

What a cool video. Years ago I owned a 46.6 Bertam charter boat in Key West and a great guy named Frank gave me a Stratofighter side opening knife that I still carry every day now working as an armed guard at a weed store. It isn’t automatic but it is absolutely excellent and indestructible. Not sure if they make them anymore. Subbed!

I have the AKC F-16 Which I bought from Blade HQ and it cost me about 60 bucks about a week ago. But it does not make that ping sound when I open or close it. This one is in the dagger point style. My only complaint is the button should be textured. My thumb frequently slips off of it without deployment. This one has the 440A steel. For whatever that’s worth. Nice little knife.
