NICE pistol but you are in ERROR about that pistol and the 1968 GUN CONTROL ACT. I purchased one of the later ones with the thumb safety like the 1911’s and it had a fully adjustable rear sight and thumb shelf plastic grips on it. That way they could call it a target pistol, the frame was also STEEL not aluminum which made it a bit heavier. It also came with a spare magazine and a 6" barrel. I bought it NEW in about 1989 or 90 for $225 out the door. I have his big brother the 76W which is REALLY NICE AND ACCURATE. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hola, cual es la diferencia entre una pistola Beretta calibre 22 modelo 70 y una modelo 71. Muchas gracias Buenos Aires Argentina

Iโ€™m trying to find the early model with the flip up easy load barrel, in the same frame as the model 71, and it was produced before the Tomcat. Any one have a lead on what model this is Iโ€™m describing?

  24. Tim Bingen on November 16, 2021 at 10:09 pm

  25. El Chino Mentado on November 16, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Found one 2 years ago. $275. I love the pistol. Yours is a gem thanks for sharing

  26. Denis Cleaver on November 16, 2021 at 10:12 pm

Sweet little pistol. FYI, Your year of production, if it is in fact 1965, it should be stamped XXI on the right side of the frame trigger guard opening.

Hi Dafarnakis – It’s a model 70. It’s printed on the box as well. Cosmetically different to the Beretta 71 series but shoots just as accurately.

HARD TO FIND I WANT ONE

  31. Tony on November 16, 2021 at 10:23 pm

Does a model 70s 22 lr magazine work with this gun ?

  32. Burton Kephart on November 16, 2021 at 10:25 pm

Could it be a pocket gun though?? Obviously as a collectors piece maybe not huh!!

  33. Larry Fulton on November 16, 2021 at 10:26 pm

I inherited a Berretta .22 LR Jaguar when my brother died. I donโ€™t have any history on it i.e. where he bought it etc. it only had ONE Magazine with it and I would love to get another for it. Its a beautiful pistol, fits nicely in my hand and is very light comparing to my 1911 .45 ACP.
