A very nice EDC. …oh my. Would love to carry this beauty.

  2. BERETTA9mmUSA on October 30, 2021 at 5:19 pm

*Update* – We shot a few hundred more rounds through the .380 CCP M2 yesterday (including both .380 SIG FMJ’s and V-Crown) and the pistol ran 100%. We are totally impressed with this handgun’s performance and shoot-ability! ~ B9USA

  3. Justin Opinion on October 30, 2021 at 5:21 pm

Nice review. The ergonomics of the CCP are incredible.

  4. The Busterdog on October 30, 2021 at 5:22 pm

If you’ve never had a reliable .380 you’ve never shot a pre-Smith&Wesson Interarms/Walther PPK/S. Easily the best .380’s ever made were the original German made Walthers, and those imported by Interarms. Smith&Wesson totally trashed the PPK format. Thanks for the demo, this will be my next purchase I make.

  5. michael w on October 30, 2021 at 5:22 pm

I have this pistol as well and love it. I tried out several types of ammo with the PMC Bronze and the Sig V-Crown working the best

  6. Hopalong on October 30, 2021 at 5:23 pm

Glad to see u back. God Bless !!! I have the pps m2, and it is well made. Great videos.

  7. Neva Lyin on October 30, 2021 at 5:24 pm

I keep seeing 9mm and 380 with the same gun. Which rounds do the ccp m2 take?

  8. Stop the Philosophical Zombies on October 30, 2021 at 5:24 pm

I can always count on you two to have anything from Walther that I should check out. Thanks.

  9. Eric Ryan Songs on October 30, 2021 at 5:28 pm

This is THE BEST .380 hands down! It doesn’t matter what you run. Jacketed, crowned, critical duty whatever!

  10. Stop the Philosophical Zombies on October 30, 2021 at 5:32 pm

If I’m not mistaken the CCP takes the PPS steel sights with minimal filing/modification and they are really nice by comparison. Also they are relatively easy to add tritium vials to for a cheaper night sight option.

  11. Jackson Walter on October 30, 2021 at 5:35 pm

My wallet hurts hearing that you’re shooting Sig Vcrowns because you don’t have any FMJs.

  12. Stop the Philosophical Zombies on October 30, 2021 at 5:35 pm

I wish they had just used this grip frame in the PPS. I love this grip but given that it’s an Umarex factory pistol I don’t have the same confidence with it as I would with an Ulm pistol from Walther. Also that trigger is atrocious.

  13. Tim Therrien on October 30, 2021 at 5:36 pm

Just purchased this weapon as a backup and off duty carry. Took it out to the range and shot better than I do with my duty carry (Glock 45 9mm). I really like the feel of this pistol. I went with the Walther .380 because I already have a Walther P22 and love it for shooting practice. That said, the CCP M2 can be a bugger to thoroughly clean. Once you remove the slide there are a few nooks and crannies that are hard to get into with a patch or rag. Still it is not a deal breaker considering the accuracy out of the box. Glad I bought it.

  14. mark madsen on October 30, 2021 at 5:36 pm

I really enjoy your channel Guys… You both do a great job in keeping it real.. Thanks

  15. Stop the Philosophical Zombies on October 30, 2021 at 5:37 pm

Wow, impressive rapid fire by B Jr. with the CCP! With that trigger that’s an accomplishment.

  16. Commodore Rook on October 30, 2021 at 5:37 pm

    I’m sold!

  17. Abel Vasquez on October 30, 2021 at 5:38 pm

    Another great video 👋🏻

  18. Parts by Teddy on October 30, 2021 at 5:40 pm

A retired policeman from Houston Texas told me that in his career saw dead people shot with 380 more than any other caliber.

  19. ConquestN98858 on October 30, 2021 at 5:41 pm

Hey Beretta Sr. & Jr., I have a few Walthers, a couple or PPS Classics and my Dads PPKs from 1973! Excellent Firearms ‘;-0 Thanks for this review and Hope the Sr. is on the mend!

  20. trekOCLVone on October 30, 2021 at 5:41 pm

Welcome back Sr. ! Glad to see your review ( Jr. as well )

Commoner: "Highness, the people are out of FMJs."
    Berettanette: "Let them shoot JHPs!"

  23. tjhawg on October 30, 2021 at 5:46 pm

Does this one run as hot as the 9mm does? With the 9mm version, after an extended shooting session, the pistol gets too hot to hold onto with bare hands. Saw yours starting to smoke in this video.

  24. Joe S. on October 30, 2021 at 5:46 pm

I also have 380 bad luck. Although the 380s I’ve bought were all pocket pistols. Lcp size. None ran 💯. I’ve tried 3. Ruger, KAHR and s&w. The ruger lcp custom was the closest to reliable. But 1% of the time it would leave a spent casing in the chamber. Unfortunately I have no use for a 380 the size of a 9mm. But thanks for the review. Good wife pistol. I’d buy my wife this over the s&w shield 380 easy. Seems like an improvement over the pk380. I will continue to carry my gen3 glock 32, I can conceal it easily and 14 shots of 125g 357sig= win.

  25. Bob Hartman on October 30, 2021 at 5:48 pm

Welcome back brother. Love the Walthers, own three of them. My first PPQ purchase was in 2013.

  26. Quality Guru on October 30, 2021 at 5:49 pm

Glad to see that you are healthy and back to doing what you love best. Curious if it is worth getting the .380 when the 9 mm also has the gas delayed system and the ammo is readily available and cheaper.

  27. MrDjay46 on October 30, 2021 at 5:49 pm

On video that looks huge for a modern era .380! Nice price and from a very reputable maker. With the lighter mag loading and slide racking maybe a nice option for folks with arthritis.

Sorry you have a history of unreliable .380s. Have you tried the very pocketable Sig P238? I have found mine to be VERY soft shooting and reliable. Of course it is single action with an external safety (not everyone’s cup of tea).

  28. Paulie M on October 30, 2021 at 5:50 pm

Young Beretta tack driving on a mag dump with that long reset. Insane. I said "how tf are you doing that?" out loud. Good luck on your return to duty Beretta Sr

  29. Ethel Matula on October 30, 2021 at 5:51 pm

Ok so my friend has this gun and she is having issues on how to load the magazine she is able to put one in but adding more is seem like its not going to work

  30. Jon Karg on October 30, 2021 at 5:54 pm

Walther makes a great gun. Weird that you say its the only 380 you’ve shot without malfunction. My back up piece is a Colt Mustang 380, flawless as well.

  31. Scott hillbilly Morgan on October 30, 2021 at 5:54 pm

thanks for showing because I like my Walther pistols. Alot are missing the main people for this gun. After your review its going to be my wifes new carry gun. She loves the ergos so much on my Walthers its a no brainer for me. My wifes arthritis is where she cant shoot any bigger than a 380. I have read the slide is easy to rack and like you said the mags are easy also. Good job men

  32. showtime2629 on October 30, 2021 at 5:54 pm

Love the look of the CCP, but this and the 9mm are too big. Should be two finger grip with longer base plates like the PPS.

  33. Sassy CJH on October 30, 2021 at 5:55 pm

How does the recoil rate? It looks like a lot. Thank you. #arthritis is starting.

  34. brianc1701 on October 30, 2021 at 5:56 pm

So, how does it compare with shooting the CCP M2 9mm? Softer or flatter shooting, less felt recoil? Do i see a comparison video in the future?

  35. Cheryl’s Sewing Adventures on October 30, 2021 at 5:57 pm

I just bought this gun last week. I took it to pistol training class yesterday and shot 150+ rounds of Blazer brass 95-grain with ZERO failures. My rear sight needs tweaking, but I am SUPER happy with this gun.

  36. roy yates on October 30, 2021 at 5:58 pm

Well done gentlemen!!jr you can really shoot well!glad sr you are doing better!when you get back too work stay safe!!

  37. C Kim on October 30, 2021 at 5:59 pm

Interesting but probably not something I’d own. That trigger and long reset would be the deciding factor.

  38. russ elder on October 30, 2021 at 5:59 pm

Sr.—you are looking good….so happy you are doing well, was worried about you my friend.I have a PPQ M1 that is a great gun. Everything German is pretty good.Love the scenery where you shoot. Stay safe stay free and God Bless you guys

  39. B Fisher on October 30, 2021 at 6:00 pm

The shootability of .380 in guns like this always gets overlooked; awesome gun, shame the trigger never got updated.

  40. Tiffany Simpson on October 30, 2021 at 6:01 pm

Just ordered this beauty last week and I’m waiting for it to arrive! Thank you for this video, I’m even more excited about my purchase!! This will be my first handgun

  41. J man J man on October 30, 2021 at 6:02 pm

    Ccp m2 380 or m&p Shield 380
Want some opinions getting ready to buy one can’t decide

  42. surfinbird71 on October 30, 2021 at 6:02 pm

I am so in the mood for this video.

  43. TigerHood806 on October 30, 2021 at 6:03 pm

Incredibly easy to takedown and clean. Only malfunction was with a certain ammo… the extractor couldn’t grab it some times. It eats everything else I’ve used

  44. Sandy Weeks on October 30, 2021 at 6:03 pm

Great video. I’m thinking about purchasing it. I love that it’s 100% reliable. I bought the Glock 42 and unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to fire it bc the pandemic came and our indoor and outdoor ranges have been all closed and still are. So if this is the most reliable 380 you have ever shot then I assume the Glock 42 isn’t that reliable? And I’m also hoping the Glock 42 doesn’t have too much recoil for me since you mentioned that the Walther has a lot less than the Glock.

  45. TigerHood806 on October 30, 2021 at 6:04 pm

You guys totally helped me pick this gun for EDC! I’ve had hand injuries from work and wanted to move down to .380. The ergonomics of this gun is phenomenal. I just want to know if the 9mm is alot more recoil or basically the same? I would like to get it in 9mm.

  46. TheGunfighter45acp on October 30, 2021 at 6:08 pm

I like it! The ergos are great on the Walthers these days, and with the Shield EZ, the Browning 1911s, etc. out there too, there are some compelling offerings in that frame size.

  47. Mr. BigBrain on October 30, 2021 at 6:09 pm

Is this a good first gun

  48. Wingin It with Irish Colleen on October 30, 2021 at 6:15 pm

I have been searching for this one!!!
I have the PPX and the PPQ M2, I want this as my CC.
EXCELLENT review guys! 🇺🇸💚 I feel like my search is not in vein now, lol.
