Its a good feeling gun for sure I was just looking at one yesterday inwill go get today just to have

  2. Lucas Schulemann on August 26, 2022 at 8:07 pm

That pop after you come off the reset is the plunger coming out and pushing the trigger bar out further than the reset. I think in a way it makes it a safe reset because the plunger striker block safety will not be depressed even if you have the trigger at the wall.

  3. JW🎃 on August 26, 2022 at 8:07 pm

Great gun but they still have one major flaw. Smith & Wesson still did not fix the early barrel drop. In order to fix this problem, you have to buy a barrel from Apex Tactical and have a gunsmith fitted to the slide.

  4. Donnel Wilson on August 26, 2022 at 8:10 pm

The m&p series is the best now the one that comes with optic cuts on it really don’t matter because that’s in the way when you put the optic system at the top.

  5. Royce on August 26, 2022 at 8:11 pm

I just picked up the 10mm version of this and after shooting it side by side with my Glock 19, I realized how much better the point of aim was for me. I bought the 9mm to go with it and will be selling the Glock.

  6. SandHill81 on August 26, 2022 at 8:13 pm

People always have to ask glock permition-credit to fan boys to talk about other- better guns. Stupid!

  7. N Y on August 26, 2022 at 8:14 pm

I sold my s&w m&p for the Sig P365. I’m sorry to say, but it was absolutely the best thing I did. Now I’m a Sig Fanboy.

  8. Ten8sious on August 26, 2022 at 8:14 pm

showing off ugly Glock in a smith and wesson video.

  9. Hoods House on August 26, 2022 at 8:14 pm

    Man I have not had a glock 17 I have a bunch of 19s but I think I’m gonna try a smith 😅

  10. Jedi391 on August 26, 2022 at 8:15 pm

My concern with this gun is reports of inconsistent accuracy at or beyond 25 yards. Have you shot it for groups from that distance?

  11. Yellow Flash on August 26, 2022 at 8:15 pm

    Your emails did it 👏👏👏👏😂😂😂

  12. Ball Sack on August 26, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Bought a glock 43….then I bought a full size mnp first gen in .40. It shoots so damn nice it’s ridiculous. Definitely feels and points better than something like say a g17 or 19. You’d don’t realize how odd the glock angle of aim is compared to the mnp. It just points so nice

  13. HiiipowerBass on August 26, 2022 at 8:17 pm

Considering this as my first handgun. I’ve discovered it’s really hard to differentiate between models for a newbie. I’m looking for the one with thumb safety, possibly compact.

  14. spaceman063 on August 26, 2022 at 8:18 pm

is there any holsters to fit your full size with those suppressor sights? by the way love the review

  15. Rooftop Korean on August 26, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Massive M&P fan here…owned both generations of the sub compacts and the shield 2.0. However…I did the same thing you did and started exploring other options. We live in the golden age of firearms right now with state of the art technology (tiny gun mounted lights with lots of lumens, red dot sights, etc).

Imo the shadow systems platform is the best bang for your buck if you’re a Glock guy. It takes glock mags, some other parts are interchangeable and they fit in glock holsters. Yes they’re $800-1000 depending on which model you get but it comes with everything your glock 19 has and even more!

    Can’t go wrong with the S-W M&P OR full sized…damn that’s a mouthful

  16. Emory Gilree on August 26, 2022 at 8:20 pm

Thankyou for getting them to make my dream gun.

  17. EspiOne and the things I do on August 26, 2022 at 8:21 pm

I had purchased the 5in Long Slide, 2.0 pistol in FDE and had started to use it in IDPA matches, love it, but I felt it was too big for carry, (IWB), so I was eye balling the the compact model (4in), I found a optic model at 4in, but the price was about $800, a bit much. at the time, I was working on a few M&P frames I found on GB. I accidentally purchased a 3.6 slide, while looking for a 4in slide and then decided to purchased the 3.6in instead and I happened to find a milled 3.6in slide and like that I had an optic 3.6 M&P. M&P pistols are just awesome.

Why don’t Glocks come in the cardboard box??

  19. Mike Scott on August 26, 2022 at 8:21 pm

The only thing I don’t like is the enhanced slide stop, prevents the slide from going forward and loading a round when inserting a fresh loaded magazine after slide lock.

  20. Blueskies on August 26, 2022 at 8:27 pm

I like the hinged style trigger. Maybe I’ll put an optic on mine. Maybe.

Bro a great plug 👆👆was introduced to me after so many scamming online, now he save me from the bad guy in my community you also hit him for you safety hit him up now

  22. Zaayyv on August 26, 2022 at 8:27 pm

This recently replaced my custom g19 as well. Glad to see others went the same route.

  23. Tad Pitre on August 26, 2022 at 8:31 pm

    M&P 2.0 is better than a Glock

  24. Bobby Jones on August 26, 2022 at 8:31 pm

S&W doesn’t actually sell this gun with the new trigger in 9mm on their website. I can only find it in 10mm with that trigger. Did you find this locally? It’s the exact setup I’m looking for.

    Thank you!

  25. The Hillbilly Piper on August 26, 2022 at 8:33 pm

I have the standard full size Smith&Wesson M&P9 2.0 with flush 17round magazines and 4.25 barrel. Mine isn’t the optics ready version but it’s still an amazing gun bone stock. I put 500 plus rounds through it with zero malfunctions .

  26. Brian A on August 26, 2022 at 8:35 pm

I have the 10mm version, this one coming soon.

FYI, a Delta Point Pro will not cowitness, too tall

  27. P. Rivera Jr on August 26, 2022 at 8:36 pm

    I have that m&p on .40 caliber and I love it……

  28. E A on August 26, 2022 at 8:37 pm

I cannot find any of the newer M&P to stores near me. What makes this trigger better than the trigger on the standard M&P 2.0 trigger? Big price difference if I order yours vs an optic ready with the older trigger. I’ve been carrying the older trigger on a non-optic for years now and I’m not someone who puts extra money into triggers, barrels, etc.

  29. CountArtha on August 26, 2022 at 8:37 pm

$1,100???? Maybe their motto should be "Perfection Not Included."

  30. Slo Glok on August 26, 2022 at 8:38 pm

    very nice

  31. Voldemortadella on August 26, 2022 at 8:40 pm

Listen to the song "Earth Heals Herself" By Buckethead. I bet youd like it. Its jazzy. Also good video

  32. jaroamg on August 26, 2022 at 8:41 pm

    Poor quality…

  33. Spencer on August 26, 2022 at 8:44 pm

    Yeah. I gotta have one.

  34. Poor Pauly on August 26, 2022 at 8:46 pm

I have the CORE model and plan on adding an Apex trigger. The stock trigger is nice and smooth with a good reset, just too much travel to the wall for me.

  35. Kipp Novak on August 26, 2022 at 8:49 pm

What size barrel is that ?…thanx in advance

  36. Rj Lewis on August 26, 2022 at 8:51 pm

I rented a shield plus and I own a Glock 48. I can hit way better with the shield plus. Nothing wrong with my 48, it shoots every time. But I’m a better shot with the shield.

  37. Michael McMillan on August 26, 2022 at 8:51 pm

I had the same firearm. Lots of rounds through it. The trigger really Smooths up. Becomes much more defined and crisp. Very easy to predict. Super easy to shoot off of the reset and the wall great video thank you

  38. eric Robinson on August 26, 2022 at 8:54 pm

You forgot that 320 dollar Holosun

  39. David Lee on August 26, 2022 at 8:54 pm

Do you know if S&W plans on making this version in a 4.6” or 5”?

  40. E on August 26, 2022 at 8:56 pm

Nice! Congrats! I have my eye on this one. I’m happy that I waited a bit and just ordered a Shield plus with a bundle with accessories that I wanted. (OR, night sights, bag, 3 extra mags and $50 rebate) Although I don’t believe that I will choose to put an optic on the Shield plus, I definitely want to have the option on a full size 2.0) My experience with a Shield 2.0 has influenced me into wanting the Shield plus and the full size like the model you have.

  41. RoBoMoP on August 26, 2022 at 8:56 pm

I got 500$ on a MP9 2.0, tritium sights were on it when I bought it.
I like the new trigger design more than the hinge one, gonna wait for more videos about it before I get that one or a apex.
    Thx for the vid sir.

  42. beezlike on August 26, 2022 at 8:58 pm

Good luck trying to find a extra mags.

  43. Tad Pitre on August 26, 2022 at 8:59 pm

    I love M&P & Glock

  44. Chris Genge on August 26, 2022 at 8:59 pm

Do think the HS507K would be a good fit? Thanks!

  45. M on August 26, 2022 at 8:59 pm

I chose the 3.6 model of this for $600 out the door. I do like this trigger better than the hinged style and serrations on the front are better to.

  46. HalfCrazy520 on August 26, 2022 at 9:00 pm

The trigger will get better after a few thousand rounds. Shoot that thing!
Then again, the Apex flat-forward trigger kit is DA BOMB! in an M&P.

  47. David Clark on August 26, 2022 at 9:02 pm

The Glock 19 is equivalent to the M&P 2.0 Compact, which also uses 15 round magazines. Comparing a full-size M&P to a compact Glock is not really apples to apples. I love my M&P 2.0 Compact but I would like to upgrade the trigger.

  48. Justin Young on August 26, 2022 at 9:03 pm

    I have 3 M&P’s. 1.0 9L, 1.0 Shield modded, 2.0 5” Tan. All have Apex triggers.

I really want to get a Compact or Full size (like yours) in Optic Ready.

I do like shooting the M&P I tent to be low and left (righty) with my Glocks. I’m pretty well on with my M&P’s and CZ P-10’s (2C’s & F)

Lol just bought a M&P 2.0 Compact with threaded barrel. But of course no optic cut so…. Off to the smithery with my slide. I am the first to admit that glocks are good pistols and I will never question its reliability …. It’s just me who doesn’t like them. But my M&P’s just fit my hand and my shooting better than a glock
