Hi I’d like to see and say that crkt is the most innovative Knife Company out there right now I like the ZT knives but crkt just took over in my mind the new PS d foelber is the greatest looking knife I’ve seen in a long time! I think the new CEO with a flipper is perfect and I’m glad they lengthen the blade a little. Thank you Dave and the gentleman from crkt for showing me these knives I am definitely getting PSD and the CEO you guys are great have a great 2021 for both of you sincerely William Boyle

Flying Spaghetti Monster – I loved the hommage!

  12. Ivan Gushiken on November 26, 2021 at 9:05 pm

This CRKT rep needs to take speaking classes. I have been taught, and teach everyone I come across. That "umm", and "uh" are exactly as it sounds. Take a moment to think, then say. It makes you sound uncomposed and unintelligible when every other word you say is um and uh. He says it at least a hundred times in this short clip.

  13. Piee89 on November 26, 2021 at 9:05 pm

46:53 Wow… It’s that the worst fake laugh or a video lag?

  21. lars gibsonsmelker on November 26, 2021 at 9:14 pm

Ordered a provoke zap…. got it in hand and it opens like complete trash. Tried to get customer service on the phone and crkt’s phone service is trash. Emailed, and have yet to hear back. Super bummed on this trash company

  22. Big Perm on November 26, 2021 at 9:17 pm

  26. alexey biryukov on November 26, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Dear Knifecenter, Thanks for nice review! I love the Rutual CRKT look and style and I was trying to place my order for a week at your site now. Impossible due to technical issues.
Your partner – iGlobal cannot help.
I do not think that Customer Service should act as they do- just writing that "it doesn’t work". This is obviously doesn’t work, however, they do not provide any support to help YOU to sell and ship your product to ones who wants to buy it.
It’s a pity that your partner is helpless and got very low intention to get an international order through.
Anyway, I’ll get this knife from somewhere else, maybe more expensive, but at least I would know that I paid to people who appreciate their Customers in Russia/Moscow.

  27. Butt Stallion on November 26, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Love aus8 and 8cr. Easy to sharpen is the way to go.

  28. Legion Tacticool Cutlery on November 26, 2021 at 9:26 pm

    Not impressed.

  29. Experience Precision on November 26, 2021 at 9:28 pm

  30. Troy Greenwood on November 26, 2021 at 9:28 pm

    I want the Ritual!

  31. Experience Precision on November 26, 2021 at 9:30 pm

    The field strip is decent.

  32. C Byron on November 26, 2021 at 9:30 pm

Tailbone – not a fixed blade, but a flex blade

  33. Stars and Stripes 406 Painting, LLC on November 26, 2021 at 9:31 pm

Please make a Dead Bolt Wharncliffe design

  34. Jeff Normandin on November 26, 2021 at 9:32 pm

Lots of complaints on the steel from the snobs… I have no doubt that better steels are… better. On the other hand, you use a knife properly and for its intended purpose, it will be fine. People got along just fine with their knives 20 years ago before these new steels existed. If you want to pull nails, get a pry bar; if you want to split wood, get a maul; if you want a cool looking knife to cut boxes or rope, whittle a stick or cut an apple, these will do just fine.

  35. tcdahn7 on November 26, 2021 at 9:33 pm

I can’t get on board with an assist on a knife with ball bearings. The IKBS makes knives flip open and drop shut so smoothly. Putting a spring in it ruins all that.

  36. M J on November 26, 2021 at 9:34 pm

Crkt knives look nice, great designs. Unfortunately low quality blade steel and craftsmanship make them a no go for me. Ill spend more money for quality.

  37. John Dukes on November 26, 2021 at 9:34 pm

"Steel on that?" "That’s let me see ah pot metal the steel on that one is pot metal"

  38. Experience Precision on November 26, 2021 at 9:35 pm

Man all these knives would of been excellent if they weren’t assisted.

  39. Monty Casper on November 26, 2021 at 9:35 pm

    Is the pocket clip reversible?

  40. Skelter on November 26, 2021 at 9:35 pm

first knife is ugly af imo, but I appreciate that they went outside their comfort zone. and just because I think its ugly af, doesn’t mean that someone out there doesn’t love it

  41. Raul Banegas on November 26, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Crkt and Gerber are crap knives makers …what a disgrace….

  42. Schuyler Collett on November 26, 2021 at 9:36 pm

Why the assist? And why garbage steel… Ugh

Edit: I’m not even trying to hate… there were multiple designs where I was lile ooo I’d buy that then they all have to be assist and 8cr… just make D2 your basic and dont assist!!!!! Get this crap outta here!

  43. Josh Wettlaufer on November 26, 2021 at 9:37 pm

    yep,yep,yep,yep

  44. Austin Gentry on November 26, 2021 at 9:38 pm

Hoping the new CEO come out in the burgundy and the better steel.

  45. Twin Brotherhood on November 26, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Dang 80 dollars for the Ritual, I love how it looks and everything but is it worth it? I’m not an expert on these knives any suggestions?

  46. Lochlann13 on November 26, 2021 at 9:41 pm

CRKT – What are you doing? Over the years, the comments of the knife community have been essentially the exact same: CRKT makes some solid designs, which are completely ruined by the price and materials. They seem to be completely out of touch with their consumer base on pricing for their blades as well. Charging $750 for the XOC, which has a CTS-XHP blade and titanium/carbon fiber handles, is absolute insanity. That’s serious full-custom knife money. The same goes for knives like the $160 Clever Girl folder, with a D2 blade and G10 handle scales…are you guys out of your minds?

On the knives that ARE reasonably priced, you’re stuck with entry level, trash steel, such as 8Cr13MoV or 1.4116. Or if you want to ‘upgrade’, you can get basic D2. CRKT’s competitors are offering great designs, with excellent materials and high end blade steels, for the same price as CRKT’s D2 models. It’s embarrassing.

Finally, it seems like CRKT believes that having a proprietary new lock increases the value of their designs to astronomical levels. Currently, the least expensive models to feature the Deadbolt lock has an MSRP of $99.99, and you have your choice of D2 or 1.4116 steel. I would love to try out the Deadbolt lock, but that lock does not turn garbage into gold.

CRKT – LISTEN TO US. We want to like your blades, but you’ve got to get competitive, and be realistic.

  47. Jason Pettit on November 26, 2021 at 9:43 pm

The very first knives would look so much better with damascus steel, because it looks like a pakastsany knife….it’s really cool, over all I love the new batch coming fro
    C.r.k.t., they’ve done well…

  48. rsa420 on November 26, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Keep your brass kak!! That is a huge put off

  49. Jason on November 26, 2021 at 9:46 pm

So Ryan says the new M16 scales are made from Stainless steel. The website says Bronze titanium nitride. Which is it?
