1:30:09 I think this is definitely the most chilling, surreal and upsettling thing in this full coverage, seeing those people faces transmitting good vibes and not knowing their smiles will change to fear, shock, anger and terrible sadness within few minutes later, it´s just so unbelievable and words can’t express what I really feel about that moment.
Seeing that second plane fly closer and closer to the tower breaks my heart. Knowing that’s the last 5 seconds of thousands of lives… man

First thing, 2001 really looks like the 1980s in 2022! The news before the attacks happened was very eerie like it was just another morning that no one would remember in a week.
Imagine you time-travel to this day, right after the first plane hits.
What would you do?
It was wierd I was 16 years old living in St Louis and I was a huge sports geek I stayed up for Monday Night football on September 10 and then Jordan came back to the Wizards my whole school was talking about it I was having Spanish class at 8:30 AM and I was talking to my best freind about the Cardinals and baseball. Then at 8:32 my spanish teacher Mrs. Herrera got a call I looked at the time. She hung up with panic in her eyes she didnt want to say it so she kept on going. 10 minutes or so later she got another call. And this time she immediately told us and said “Class please come with me to the gym something has happened. I sat down there was a little cart TV and it was CNN and I saw the second plane hit the tower I cried I looked around everyone was crying. Mrs Herrerra went up to me and said Its going to be OK and cried in my lap. The principal cancelled us out of class and we were dismissed. I heard later the Pentagon was hit and the Grassy field plane I went in my room and didnt come back.
21 years later in 2022 Im 36 years old and I now realize it was maybe for the better technology has improved over the years.
I can say one thing GO AMERICA!

Wow, I was born in early 2010s and from now and the 90s-2000s it looked so peaceful, especially with the funny ads and the grandmas and everyone having a good time, but then they sweep you out and send you into the twin tower exploding

My Grandparents lived in NY at the time, looking back now, it’s scary to imagine what they were going through.

Everytime I just cry when I see these planes fly into these beautiful buildings. It’s shocking knowing what really happened over 21 years later and the sadness of innocent humans who died that day
All I can say about working in any of those buildings back then while this is happening – if I had a supervisor who said we are all safe so get back to work is nuts. I would’ve said I am getting the hell out of here and I would gather up my things and get out right then.
I always think about how we’re at the beginning of video tape and even photography, relative to time in large scales right, like imagine someone watching this in 100,000 years you know? before our time we really had no lifelike recording of history.. imagine 1m year from now watching this at the start of human history as we knew it

I live in Chicago and my school basically went on lockdown. We couldn’t leave unless a parent, guardian or approved pick up came. The city was a ghost town and living by O’Hare it was creepy not seeing any planes.
I’ve watched a few of these videos, starting with the 13th. I decided to start from the beginning. This is so sad to see the beginning. Talking about Jordon. Having no idea for the next week they’ll be talking about this day.

I remember being at school as a kindergartener. I had no idea what was going on. I don’t think that my teacher put the TV on, but she told us that a plane had crashed into the twin towers. We must’ve been like 5 or 6 years old, so I doubt that she would’ve put the news on… too scary. Eventually parents started to show up and my mom did too—had to leave work to come get me. We were within 5 minutes of Disney world, so she was afraid that they’d “bomb” or fly a plane into those parks. She came and got me and eventually when we were home I remember seeing the tower billowing out smoke and I don’t think I watched it collapse. That’s kind of the end of my memory

I have watched and listened to numerous TV and Radio channel coverage of 9/11. In my opinion this is by far the most professional.
So many injured where do you start? It must have been absolutely overwhelming logistically yet our country really persevered. We overcame this as a people.
Just them saying small plane awful accidents. Just amazing how big of an event it was but not as big as it is now.

It’s crazy 20 years later that was the year Aaliyah died, and then not even a fresh 2 weeks after that, the terrorist attacks happened. When this all occurred, I was in my lifeskills class, and I remember my teacher (bless her heart) saying: "WE GOTTA GET INSIDE! SOMETHING JUST HIT THE WTC!" This is before the 2nd plane hit. We saw this stuff unfold, and then when we got home…oh man…it was definitely serious.
