Why are we seeing the slugs hit watermelons? I would much rather see what they do to the steel plates.
I get seeing the shot "pattern" on a clean plate, but this video would have been amazing if the targets were the other way around

  2. mark cameroon on December 6, 2021 at 7:20 pm

can you mound a small light on the bottom? no rail?

  3. Ringo Ciccone on December 6, 2021 at 7:23 pm

  4. Ned Morales on December 6, 2021 at 7:23 pm

Buck shots are pellets I always thought they were ball bearings? You keep referring to buckshot as pellets forgive my ignorance please elaborate.

  5. DN on December 6, 2021 at 7:24 pm

I love the idea of a shotgun but they kick like a mule and destroy my already damaged shoulder.

  6. Jim F on December 6, 2021 at 7:24 pm

Why is it that every single American tactical shotgun is cylinder bore with no choke possible? If they did, you could choke the shorter barrel and use it for hunting. I hunt in some thick forest sometimes, and others in more open areas, so a choke could make it a do all gun.

  7. Max Evenson on December 6, 2021 at 7:25 pm

    Fifffffffff

  8. Wayne Castleman on December 6, 2021 at 7:27 pm

    Well that was fun 😉

  9. Daimyo on December 6, 2021 at 7:27 pm

shooting the plates with the slugs would be more entertaining and you can see the force better

  10. plattner01 on December 6, 2021 at 7:28 pm

wish you had some frozen turkeys or chickens with that slug

  11. Nelson Guerrero on December 6, 2021 at 7:29 pm

I’m in the market for my first shotgun. Not sure if I want to go pump or semi. Anyone here care to shed some light?

I got and AR15 in 5.56 also got a pistol AR in 5.56 and 2 pistols. Full size and carry.
This would be my first shotgun tho

  12. Rustic Redd on December 6, 2021 at 7:30 pm

That’s a nice shotgun indeed! If you know much about the Dickenson semi auto, would you recommend that one?

  13. Steve douglas on December 6, 2021 at 7:31 pm

I would like to deer hunt with that. The ghost ring sights are a type of rifle sights, and it shoots slugs like a champ. The black magic slug would be great big bear medicine. I’d definitely bear hunt with it. No shortstroking either.

I have a 930 but I’m looking for the front sight that you have one the one you’re using. Where can I find that. I’ve looked everywhere is it not called a front sight?

  17. Richard Howell on December 6, 2021 at 7:34 pm

Love my shotgun. It’s a pump. But it does the job. Maybe I’ll look into getting a 930. A little cheaper than that Benelli you had

  19. tom reta on December 6, 2021 at 7:35 pm

  20. E M on December 6, 2021 at 7:35 pm

At 14:25, ive noticed that you had trouble loading more than five rounds, I sometimes have that problem with my 930 shooting federal ammo 00 buck 2 3/4, do you know if there is anything that will help it not get stuck on 5? Thanks.

Sawxyour SBS side by side video the other day…had planned on selling my JW2000 to defray the cost of my new TriStar semi auto…but now I’m going to spend the $200 for the tax stamp…I’m impressed…seriously impressed…

  27. scott stutzman on December 6, 2021 at 7:41 pm

Only slugs I use if hunting deer with a shotgun. If your on the other side they whistle. Don’t ask how I know that. Love this shotgun great for home defense.

  28. Ohio Gentlemen Arms on December 6, 2021 at 7:43 pm

I fell in love with the mossberg action as a kid bird hunting. I know it’s not the high end and I’m sure better options exist. That shotgun has been with me for 25 years and still shoots great. It’s light weight and reliable.

  29. Aaron Wilkinson on December 6, 2021 at 7:43 pm

I you can only have one gun a shotgun is the best choice. There’s a bigger variety of loads. You can shoot small birds up to big bears with them. And they are a man stopper. And they are generally pretty inexpensive easy to operate

  30. Mike K. on December 6, 2021 at 7:44 pm

While I do have a semi auto shotgun, that one’s for hunting.
I went with a 590 Tactical pump from Mossberg and couldn’t be happier. Put a Crimson Trace light on it and I’m good.

  31. david wilson on December 6, 2021 at 7:45 pm

hehe i wet myself watching lol I’m actually getting one this weekend

  32. Craig Hofer on December 6, 2021 at 7:47 pm

I have one and it is probably the best tactical shotgun you can own!👍

  33. per solbakken on December 6, 2021 at 7:48 pm

mossberg 930 tactical, my preferred choice against those putrid zombies lol (yes ive seen to much walking dead series, lol)!!

  35. Billy on December 6, 2021 at 7:49 pm

Does it come with a pistol grip?

  36. Chris McCollum on December 6, 2021 at 7:50 pm

I found a beautiful 930 with all wood furniture. love it.

  37. Pab1oFresh on December 6, 2021 at 7:51 pm

Very first time I used it a shell got stuck in the chamber

  38. Bobby Moss on December 6, 2021 at 7:51 pm

2:55 imagine that being some home intruder’s head. /grin

  39. Patrick Faricy on December 6, 2021 at 7:54 pm

Three inch shells……they just hurt….a lot.
The only ammo that i have found that my 930SPX didn’t like was short brass; some that a friend gave me and some brand new double-ott buck that I bought that was short brass as well. I never would have thought to check to see if double-ott buck was short brass before buying it. After several stove pipes, gave the rest of it to a buddy who has a pump, he hasn’t had any issues with it and my gun has fired reliably with everything else I have run through it.

  40. Marco A I M S on December 6, 2021 at 7:56 pm

I like the one your shooting now 💯. Maybe a part 2 with those bear 🐻 killers 💯. So far from the videos 📹 mossberg 590 and 930 tactical would be the shot guns I’d buy 💯.

  41. Jonathan Robinson on December 6, 2021 at 7:58 pm

    Now I want a new shotgun…

  42. 2Abuck on December 6, 2021 at 8:01 pm

They’re alright, but somewhat fussy about how clean they are. My Dad has owned the field version for years now. It is more reliable with 1and 1/8 ounce loads and up. Also, after about a hundred rounds, it starts to have some cycling issues. Cleaning it takes care of this and it is a soft shooter so I consider it a good gun. However, my Remington V3 needs cleaning much less and I have had only a handful of cycling issues. It also shoots 1oz loads consistently. I would still recommend the 930, but know it will need to be kept clean and use heavier loads.

  43. Knight Hawk on December 6, 2021 at 8:03 pm

What iron sight is on your 930, mine came with a bead sight.

  44. iclutchrooftops on December 6, 2021 at 8:04 pm

The 930 is both a good and bad starter weapon. It’s great if you wanna somewhat reliably cycle heavy load. But it requires alot of maintenance after 10000 rounds. Parts begin to break and you’ll need to know basic gubsmithibg. If you want your 930 to run even smoother you’ll need access to a machine shop. The gas piston also requires alot of maintenance, alot of maintenance. You’ll need to scrub it out with a brush and steel wool. You’ll want to wear out the chambers finish with steel wool and a wire wheel. You’ll also wanna get replacement parts now while they’re cheap.

No free lunch in physics, LOL. E=MC2, energy is equal to mass multiplied by velocity squared.
