12:10 Why TF my stock mesh ends pointy instead of flat ??? has 12 edges but rotated in a way it is pointy at the bottom …
i cant believe a video of 35 min took me 3.5 HRS to complete. dayum
Is there a reason you didn’t initially model the upper and lower receiver separately?
Thank you for an actually good tutorial
Quiet kid: y-yo c-could you print that out? *looks treatning*
4:45 it doesnt taper down, the gun isnt laying flat on the picture
27:00
how does he snap a vertex to the z axis of another
i love how all these videos are outdated and blender is probably the least friendly interface ever made
How did you add edge at 32:47
thanks for the Tutorial. How to add in "Edge Loop" at 6:00 ?
7:29 how did you moved barrel back to top? I dont want to offset because of a bug

CG COOKIE: Takes an M4 Carbine and an M16
him: I feel a difference
Can someone explain how he selects all those faces with one click at 14:36? I’m trying to model that in blender 2.93
thx so much
no hate but the thing in the beginning is a handguard. essentially the same gun just different way to set them up. you got options. the m4 is usually the quad rail version like you modelled.

God, Blender really looked like shit back in 2019.
very simple tutorial thank you
I used this tutorial to make a C7A2, it worked like a charm considering how similar it is to an M4.
Thanks for making the tutorial!
Awesome Video . I’m learning 3D modeling and you are a life saver
Damn I gotta learn all these shortcuts
3:56 – I don’t understand… Blender ver 2.8 does not support option for changing vertices like was in presented version (f6). What should I do?…
I literally followed this tutorial, creating same rifle, while holding airsoft replica of this gun on my knees- just for reference. Better than photos.
26:39 To remove doubles in more modern versions of blender Right Click + Merge Vertices + By Distance

14:31 how?
