  2. Chris Chen on November 29, 2021 at 10:30 pm

When you retire you could mine copper and lead on that hill side.

  3. Calvin Leblanc on November 29, 2021 at 10:31 pm

which would be better for White tail .44 Mag or the 45 LC? in your opinion?

  4. Augustus McRae on November 29, 2021 at 10:31 pm

They saved the company only to ruin the company so they would have to save the company again.

  9. Mk Shffr on November 29, 2021 at 10:37 pm

I love big bores but I really have a hankering for one of those in 32-20 with cut rifling.

  10. Keith Printz on November 29, 2021 at 10:38 pm

Junior is a pretty good shot I love that he has the same colloquialisms As his dad Is that relationship is the backbone of America I have 5 sons and one daughter And they all shoot But my wife shoots better than me

  14. Brent V on November 29, 2021 at 10:40 pm

Funny Im watching this the same day Ruger just purchased Marlin from Remington. And yes Marlins microgrooved barrels need one to two thousandths larger lead bullets but regular sized jacketed bullets work just fine.

  15. lckgilmo43 on November 29, 2021 at 10:42 pm

A wild hog, deer, coyote or hoodlum doesn’t stand a chance against a Marlin 44 magnum. It’ll blow a hole the size of your 👊.

  16. Wes on November 29, 2021 at 10:42 pm

Shot my one and only deer at 250 yards with a 1894 44 Mag.

  17. TheAverageKEKW on November 29, 2021 at 10:43 pm

I’m looking to get a 44 magnum for my son do you think it’s a good choice for hunting

  18. NixFlix D on November 29, 2021 at 10:43 pm

John’s a lucky guy. I went on a shoot day with my dad one time and I’ll never forget it. I’d give anything to get ahold of those two western colt replicas we shot all day.

  19. Sonny Gunz on November 29, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Give me a lever gun and revolver and I’ll survive out in the woods or city for life. I own suppressed SBR’s and SBS’s and everything else. I just love wood and steel but we should be able to own anything we want.

  20. DirtyOrr#4 on November 29, 2021 at 10:44 pm

How in the hell could 98 people possibly hit the thumbs down button on any Hickock45 video?! Ya’ll got issues

Is it OK if you shared the load data for the 300 gr rounds? I’m looking to buy the same rifle and want to go straight to a load that works

  23. Anthony Evers on November 29, 2021 at 10:45 pm

you guys make that shooting look easy. Great job

  24. Derek Bartelt on November 29, 2021 at 10:46 pm

  25. TietLung on November 29, 2021 at 10:46 pm

Waiting patiently to see what ruger does with the marlin. Hoping for great things there.

  26. eqlzr2 on November 29, 2021 at 10:50 pm

I have one of the original Marlin 1894P lever-actions with the 16.5 inch ported barrel. I think I purchased it in the late 90s. It has a really nice flame walnut stock. Extremely versatile. Everything from wax and rubber bullets to black powder round lead balls to full-bore tooth rattlers. I would so love a version in .223 NATO! 😉

  27. Swol Wannabe on November 29, 2021 at 10:51 pm

  31. K M on November 29, 2021 at 10:56 pm

Don’t mind me. Just been going through all his Lever Action videos. I would like him to gather all his favorite and then do a side by side of his favorite. Then pick his favorite over all

  32. Ruff Geear on November 29, 2021 at 10:57 pm

This was the first hot rifle i ever shot a few weeks ago. It was awesome!!!

  33. Lalbiak Chhawna on November 29, 2021 at 10:58 pm

  35. Travis Minton on November 29, 2021 at 11:03 pm

I know this is an older video. Is there any interest in doing a review on the newer 1894 SBL in .44 mag, or even the 1894 CSBL or CST in .357 mag?

  36. Robert Van Dyke III on November 29, 2021 at 11:03 pm

I’m going to buy a 45 70 and I can’t make up my mind so I value your opinion could you help me it’s down to Marlin SBL or a Henry all weather please help me out .

  37. Noel on November 29, 2021 at 11:03 pm

Hello Mr. Hickok45, I have a general question. I am fairly familiar with handguns. I can not say the same for long guns. I am not looking to play hero nor am I going to be involved with any military exercises. What I am looking for is a durable hard hitting rifle. I’m looking for a rifle that can seize no more than 150 yards, home defense, Bush rifle, that is durable. Is a Henry Lever Action in that wheel house? Anyone’s input would be welcomed.

  38. Clayton Sorensen on November 29, 2021 at 11:07 pm

Was gonna buy one of these long ago back when Marlin was still Marlin…after Remington bought Marlin i looked at an 1895 and it looked like it was made by a 5 year old…very poor fit and finish and totally unacceptable….i still see them on Marlins website….how’s the new ones?

  39. Lymanization on November 29, 2021 at 11:10 pm

Every rifle I buy, I let H45 tell me about it first! My happy place is watching his videos…..

  40. Manning Jackson on November 29, 2021 at 11:11 pm

  42. Frank n Stein on November 29, 2021 at 11:13 pm

i wonder how different it shoots from the one i got (built in 77)

  43. Ethan Amldon on November 29, 2021 at 11:13 pm

Not getting too much better I bought a 2019 1894 44mag and had to take the lever off and de burr a lot of sticking parts

  44. Scrambled Camper on November 29, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Does it harm the barrel to shoot rounds through it so quickly ?

  45. Michael McBroom on November 29, 2021 at 11:18 pm

    You got geese!

  46. Motovader deluxe on November 29, 2021 at 11:23 pm

Swear…this guy only misses on purpose to make us all feel better about ourselves…

  47. Tom G on November 29, 2021 at 11:24 pm

To bad Marlin can’t get the twist correct. 1/38 is not good, makes the bullet unstable. Twist should be 1/30 at the slowest. Look it up!

  48. Jerry Smith on November 29, 2021 at 11:25 pm

Thanks for all your work Father and Son. Stay safe everybody. We’re One. It’s sad that so many do not know that. We can fix everything but our mentality. I like my lever gun alot also.

  49. Dewey Bowser on November 29, 2021 at 11:26 pm
