Perhaps SHOT should consider traveling to 2A friendly states that have shifting "political threats and climate" to 2A support based upon introduced legislation and recent elections/elected reps.? Would require very fluid hosts and agile NSSF adaption, but would be beneficial to statewide/regional 2A effort and certainly area economy(s).

  3. Open Carry on November 2, 2021 at 7:38 pm

Bring shot show to Idaho we have full Constitutional carry.
Open Carry is honest carry and I always Open Carry in Nevada, it’s no big deal.

  4. Brent Stam on November 2, 2021 at 7:38 pm

    Come to Iowa.

  5. Rang123 Yea on November 2, 2021 at 7:41 pm

Bring it here to Florida we’d love it.

  6. Vince Adams on November 2, 2021 at 7:44 pm

I agree with Vegas being over-hyped (I know, not your exact words), but I would like to see Shot Show change venues every year or two.

  7. Echo Delta on November 2, 2021 at 7:45 pm

Only been to Vegas once and I thought the Strip was one of the most vulgar and revolting places I’ve ever been. Everyone there was obese and the whole place smelled like skunk-weed. Fremont was better.

  8. Larry Johnson on November 2, 2021 at 7:46 pm

I agree. Come to Texas or go to Tennessee?

  9. Timothy Schmeling on November 2, 2021 at 7:48 pm

Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

  10. James Gentry on November 2, 2021 at 7:50 pm

I would also like a state that has Shut down these useless Mask, and research what the mask is all about ?

  11. Rick Geppert on November 2, 2021 at 7:50 pm

Was in Vegas this December. Boring! Biggest ghost town I ever stayed in.

  12. Keith Sproules on November 2, 2021 at 7:52 pm

Bring shot shot show to Jacksonville fl

  13. Del Bowlby on November 2, 2021 at 7:54 pm

Idaho or Utah would be a good option in the West. Both I believe have Constitutional Carry. Utah would be good because John Browning museum.

  14. Bill Dubois on November 2, 2021 at 7:55 pm

They should have SS inTexas .. the can have it in a different town every year ..

  15. phiberoptik on November 2, 2021 at 7:55 pm

if they permitted conceal carry I’d be okay with Vegas. It’s the kind of place you don’t mind going to once every year or two. what would be a viable alternative? any other venue should offer comparable sights and entertainment values. it’s not just the casinos. you have hoover dam, antelope canyon, horseshoe bend over the Colorado River and, of course, the grand canyon. assuming you the time and energy to visit these places. but at least it’s an option.

  16. Brian Coveney on November 2, 2021 at 7:55 pm

Nashville would be a great place for Shot Show

  17. Dana F on November 2, 2021 at 7:56 pm

Vegas is a good place to host. Cheap flights and lots of hotels. Not enough hotel space is a killer for festivals, when people can’t get rooms, they "camp" which turns into tent cities, which turns into garbage pits. This pisses off the locals, gives the event a bad name and leads to cancellation. I’ve seen it happen to several festivals/events in canada.

Also i love Vegas, I go for the shows like Penn and Teller.. I drive down for a week, I gamble one night. Hit 2 or three shows up, take some trips out to the grand canyon, go shoot some guns that are prohib were. I live. Vegas has some amazing museums as well. Lots of fun 4×4 trails in the area as well

    Leaving Las Vegas

  19. Tim Hirst on November 2, 2021 at 7:59 pm

I don’t think the show will leave Las Vegas. Today the town is just as much built around servicing the very big trade only shows as it is “sin/fun tourism”. To be a good host a city needs huge convention space plus equally huge meeting presentation space for all the restricted access events that go on around the show. The city also needs lots of restaurants and banquet venues to support the vast amount of hospitality that goes on for important potential trade buyers and influential media. Las Vegas has these facilities in spades, for them shot show is not that big.
A city also needs a very well connected airport, a city that has 5/10,000 seats a day inbound will struggle to support big trade shows.
The only two cities that have got the facilities and are at least moderately gun friendly are LV and Orlando. Shot show used to go to Orlando and pulled not wanting to go back for some reason.
To me this means if the show survives it will stay in LV unless the gun law of the state markedly change.

I agree, back when it was traveling a friend (who had a FFL) and I went to one in Houston. Every gun enthusiast should go at least once.

The vaccine is the mark of the beast. It will not get rid of the masks. It will not get rid of social distancing. It will not make your life return to normal. It is just a sign that you now follow and worship the beast, covidd 19. If you take the vaccine you are selling yourself to the devil. Death is sure to follow, but not before the wrath of God. His wrath will be far worse than anything Covidd 19 did or could do to you. REPENT for your sins. Put your faith in Jesus Christ. Follow Gods commands. Repent!!!

  23. TheChasathome on November 2, 2021 at 8:03 pm

I’m a veteran who served in the submarine Mutual Assured Destruction branch. As a consequence, I am VERY uncomfortable while in a crowd! Therefore, I avoid any venue that tends to draw a lot of people.

  24. Rick Nunn on November 2, 2021 at 8:04 pm

I know I am a nobody, but I agree with you. Las Vegas… big deal. It is one of the most UNGODLY places on the planet!!! Not a place you would want to take your family. It is dirty and unclean. Where would you like for the Shot Show to go. I have never gone but would like to go someday. God bless you. Sincerely Rick.

  25. Colonel K on November 2, 2021 at 8:07 pm

"Las Vegas is great once." That’s how many times I went there and it was to attend SHOT in 1988.

  26. Troy Blanchard on November 2, 2021 at 8:08 pm

Fully agree. Been on the strip once and have zero desire to go back

  27. Craig Langford on November 2, 2021 at 8:10 pm

I’ve been in the music industry for 45 years, and our annual trade shows happen every winter in Anaheim, and every summer in Nashville. Beware… Nashville has become a mecca for west coast snowflakes…they will cry, scream and tear their clothes in rabid, foaming fashion. Meh…

  28. Chris Davis on November 2, 2021 at 8:10 pm

I would think Houston or San Antonio would be a great new spot for this

  29. elgonz12 on November 2, 2021 at 8:12 pm

I hope they can bring Shot show 2022 here in Texas or why not Florida even Louisiana will be fine

  30. Geoff Timm on November 2, 2021 at 8:13 pm

Didn’t Shot show rotate between Las Vegas and Tampa Florida? Geoff Who doesn’t remember.

  35. PyroKnowItAll on November 2, 2021 at 8:16 pm

Refunds because they are insured… also yes leave Vegas. It’s nasty but a lot of gun guys sadly love the evil of that city…

  36. Geoff McMillan on November 2, 2021 at 8:17 pm

Branson, MO would be my choice for the future of SHOT Shows

  40. James Gentry on November 2, 2021 at 8:25 pm

Gun owners have to unite, and Vegas is not Gun Friendly I think it should go to a gun friendly State, only makes sense, 100 % Agree.

  41. bill thompson on November 2, 2021 at 8:25 pm

Hold it in Missouri or Arizona.
The government PLANdemic is in full swing.

  42. notsosilentmajority1 on November 2, 2021 at 8:26 pm

I couldn’t agree more with moving Shot Show to a real 2A friendly state. It would be great to go to a warm weather pro 2A state.
Ideally it should be a constitutional carry state. Most people that are really interested in Shot Show are not super concerned with the Las Vegas thing. Sure, for gamblers, younger people and people with certain vices it’s a great place but you nailed it when you said that it’s great the first time you go there. After that it really is a tourist trap. They should have Shot Show somewhere warm and with things to do AND in a constitutional carry state or at least a state that recognizes a large amount of other states’ CC permits. AZ and Texas come to mind but I’m not sure if Texas is constitutional carry yet. I believe it’s in the works.. AZ and Texas (a large portion of the state) have good weather most of the year. AZ has the biggest or one of the biggest ranges in the nation and is set up for trailers, 5th. wheels, etc.. They even have areas to keep your horses on site. Texas must also have similar setups. These are states that are 2A friendly and have other things to do as well as being states that would welcome Shot Show and its people while having good weather. Not sure if there are things to do in Mississippi but that’s another warm state with constitutional carry.

  43. Leonard Piskac on November 2, 2021 at 8:26 pm

Florida would be a great Choice we love our guns…Texas new home of the NRA would be a good one too…God Bless America and God Bless the NRA!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  44. Darrell McMillan on November 2, 2021 at 8:26 pm

I live in Nevada and it’s not Las Vegas, it’s the state. More specifically it’s Gov. Sisolak, who is firmly inline with the views of his friends from the state on our west border. The blue disease is taking over our state with huge numbers of Kalifornians moving to Vegas and Reno. I wanted to retire here but now we’re looking at Tennessee and Kentucky.

  45. AG W on November 2, 2021 at 8:27 pm

To be honest, it’s not about the public. It’s an industry show for business owners. So why would I care, I can’t go no matter where it is held.

  46. John S on November 2, 2021 at 8:29 pm

Need to do this in Florida or Texas.

  47. Richard Miller on November 2, 2021 at 8:30 pm

What state do you live in? Go to handgunlaw.us.
It will show whether your CCW is valid in NV.

  48. Work Hardened on November 2, 2021 at 8:31 pm

Las Vegas is trying to make it illegal to ignore a No Guns allowed sign on any property.
However you’re wrong about Las Vegas. There’s boat loads to do, it doesn’t smell like cigarettes(most places don’t), the food is excellent, it has the space for the largest events and Shot Shot is contracted with Sands through 2027.

  49. Robert Walker on November 2, 2021 at 8:34 pm

I miss shot show so much. I looked forward to it all year.

It can come to Oklahoma City. We have a brand new huge convention center and just became a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary State.
