My uncle had one in either 16 or 20 gauge. Dont remember. Worth thousands in the 80s. Was stolen from what my cousin told me.

  6. Dennis Edwards on October 28, 2021 at 8:42 pm

2 yrs ago I sold 2 of these at a local gun show so I could buy my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44. Fairly sure I was ripped off because of what I didn’t know. Water under the bridge. I do enjoy the Blackhawk.

In a world of Chinese and Turkish shotgun, it is wonderful to see elegant craftsmanship and one that will be around 200 years from now.

Putting chokes in that LC is unspeakable.

  12. Alex Hudson on October 28, 2021 at 8:51 pm

Amazing machining on those. My daddy has/had one and you couldn’t believe how precise these were made. The breach looks like one solid piece.

  13. Silver Star on October 28, 2021 at 8:51 pm

If a person likes to have a collection of good firearms, you must have a LC Smith in inventory

  14. Al Quinn on October 28, 2021 at 8:52 pm

I inherited my grandfathers "Elsie". When my uncle passed away. I’m the third owner and my grandfather bought it to go pheasant hunting with some business partners. Didn’t like hunting so cleaned it and stuck it under the bed. My uncle never shot it . It stayed under his bed. I got it and it’s with me every dove opener. In 6 more years it will be 100 years old. I will give it to my son. I fire nothing but 2.5 inch low pressure loads from RST through it and kill doves with ease. Choke improved/ modified and has 95% case coloring. All original, no rust. I’m not going to wait until I die before passing it on. Great vid

  16. mike leo on October 28, 2021 at 8:53 pm

I hunted with a man for years when I was young, who shot an LC Smith 12 gauge. Great deer gun for buckshot. He rarely missed. I want one so bad.

  17. Eric Schulze on October 28, 2021 at 8:54 pm

I’m from Syracuse & I’ve had a couple lc smith’s this looks like something that was restored improperly but I guess it doesn’t matter not worth over$600 dollars good example of why it’s okay to modify these guns

  18. Darryl Chittenden on October 28, 2021 at 8:55 pm

  19. Frank Bender on October 28, 2021 at 8:55 pm

I had one a long time ago and traded it away. I have regretted it from day one. But I love the Colt Revolver I got in trade. But I still one another LC Smith.

  20. Gene Laird on October 28, 2021 at 8:56 pm

  22. Craig Robertson on October 28, 2021 at 9:02 pm

Funny thing about bans, somebody’s gotta enforce them. That somebody has to sleep somewhere.

  23. Robert tortas on October 28, 2021 at 9:03 pm

They won’t be banned because RESIDENT Biden says we should get a double barrel shotgun and shoot both barrels out the front door if we get spooked. Then we don’t need an AR 14.

  39. Gary Fancy on October 28, 2021 at 9:23 pm

Thanks for the video, I own a LCSMITH shot gun, the same as the one on your video, it has a lot of history once belonged to the actor Donald Sutherland father. I know it was a good gun but you video is the first time I’ve ever seen anything about it. Thanks.

I don’t even own a single gun and am a NRA supporter. Can I join officially somehow or is it just supporting it that makes you a member?

  43. Don Davis on October 28, 2021 at 9:28 pm

    I have one in16 Gauge

  44. Aaron Buckmaster on October 28, 2021 at 9:29 pm

That one had a really nice finish and checkered wood stock. That hard case is really nice as well. I was as a kid, shown an old LC Smith that had interior jeweled and plated locks. I have always preferred exterior hammers on side by side shotguns. Whomever smoked and set those barrels, really did a good job. I can hear it. I’ll own one some day.
