    6 glocks (42, 43, 27, 19, 17, 22). Approx 6000 rounds & never any problems. I can’t remember the last malfunction. Carried one since 1990.

  2. thejesteramongfools on February 15, 2023 at 2:12 am

there is a reason why Taurus is cheap. It’s very cheaply made dangerous to user guns. or expensive paperweights dealers choice.

  3. Jon Singleton on February 15, 2023 at 2:13 am

Im.scared too fire wheel guns after any malfunction the next round might blow up in your face

  4. kellstat on February 15, 2023 at 2:14 am

what do you think about the g series?

  5. Wellington on February 15, 2023 at 2:15 am

I have owned 2 taurus revolvers before. Used to have a 856 and currently have a public defender. I will never carry my public defender but it will remain in my collection as the meme gun it is.

  6. Stretch Man on February 15, 2023 at 2:18 am

How many rounds through it, and have you taken it and given it a good cleaning yet? According to the owners manual, the gun needs to be completely wiped down with oil. I did that 2 or 3 times before I got it to the range, and it still shot all over the place and locked up like that a couple times.

I brought it home and gave it yet another good scrub and the second time out it was flawless.

I even used it to qualify with the state as a security guard. Shot 211 out of 240. I say bathe it in oil and scrub it with a tooth brush. They come new covered with crap. Knock it down to a smooth finish.

    All Taurus products are junk!!!!

  8. J.L. Armendariz on February 15, 2023 at 2:22 am

My 605 .357 snub is my everyday carry. I’ve owned a couple of Taurus revolvers and never had a problem!🇺🇸👍🏽🤙🏽😎🔫

  9. Hoosier Dynamics on February 15, 2023 at 2:26 am

I thought taurus has had such a bad reputation for their revolvers that I’m surprised people buy them.

  10. Doc Tyler on February 15, 2023 at 2:27 am

    Taurus is trash.

  11. I'm that guy you love to hate on February 15, 2023 at 2:28 am

Yeah timing is way off buddy

  12. Noone Cares on February 15, 2023 at 2:29 am

cylinder stop not dropping or the hand is out of time. Usually happens when you cowboy stuff or buy used guns that people have abused.

  13. Czgunner on February 15, 2023 at 2:30 am

Taurus revolvers have been so bad for so long.

  14. YSN_Santana727 on February 15, 2023 at 2:31 am

    But revolvers “never jam” 😂

  15. squatchPNW on February 15, 2023 at 2:34 am

Yeah if you got a little bit of lead fragment back in your face the timing is definitely off on that Taurus revolver.

  16. Peter Melnyk on February 15, 2023 at 2:36 am

Friend of mine traded his Taurus 38 revolver…..for a Phoenix 9mm….we fired the Phoenix 3 times when the barrel exploded… rendering it useless.

  17. jomed on February 15, 2023 at 2:36 am

    Wouldn’t buy a Taurus

  18. Scarface on February 15, 2023 at 2:36 am

Just got the 856, ran 400 rounds through it first time at the range. Not one single problem.

  19. Mystwolfe on February 15, 2023 at 2:37 am

Revolvers aren’t supposed to jam 😂

  20. Terry Brown on February 15, 2023 at 2:37 am

All mine work great…but theres always a bad apple in the bushell.

  21. USagainstTHEM on February 15, 2023 at 2:38 am

Hey guys! Check out @JJRifleWorld for all your firearms needs! Great owner, very knowledgeable and informative review videos on their YouTube channel.

Great shooting brother!(and Cali comment 😂).

  22. Max Moody on February 15, 2023 at 2:39 am

This is my experience with my 2 Taurus revolvers. There’s a reason why they’re so "inexpensive". Never again Taurus, never again.

  23. Johnny boy on February 15, 2023 at 2:40 am

Get yourself a rock island armory 38. Not as much punch but never jams and ammo is cheaper I also recently got my hands on a Chrome rock island 45 acp

  24. Soli Deogloria on February 15, 2023 at 2:40 am

Remember that not all the comments are in good faith, some that say it’s the shooter are probably paid by Taurus to mop up Youtube videos and comments that hurt their bottom line… 😆🤔😭

  25. Chris W on February 15, 2023 at 2:42 am

Anyone els kinda duck out the way when he flags the camera 🤣

  26. David Rouse on February 15, 2023 at 2:44 am

Not only did it bind up, it never hit the target, probably couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn either with it.🤬🤬

  27. Why...So...Stupid? on February 15, 2023 at 2:46 am

Yeah I had the same thing happen with my Smith&Wesson. Thing was only a few months old, maybe had 70 rounds through it. Had to send it in and it took months to get it back.

  28. Soli Deogloria on February 15, 2023 at 2:46 am

What became of it, did you send it back ?
    Inquiring minds want to know…
    🤔

  29. Dillon on February 15, 2023 at 2:46 am

    Trigger discipline sir.

  30. Don on February 15, 2023 at 2:46 am

I only follow you because of that comment … Shoots high and left, like California. 😂

  31. paul palmer on February 15, 2023 at 2:51 am

Taurus you probably have bad ammo not only do you have bad ammo but somebody probably been slamming that cylinder back and forth inside the gun trying to be cool trying to slap it and spin it and slap it and spin it and slap it back inside now your timing’s off now you’re half mooning it well now it’s garbage

  32. Bravo-Too-Much on February 15, 2023 at 2:53 am

I’ve shot a lot of revolvers over the years, many thousands of rounds of all kinds. I have 5k plus rounds through a S&W 27-3 without ever having a parts failure. Almost 20k in my S&W 986(it’s my most fired because it’s a 9mm) and one of my main competition revolvers with no failures. I only have round counts on those two. I have several Colts, Rugers, and a few Kimbers among some various others in the collection. Now I haven’t shot those as much as any of my S&Ws, but I have never had one lock up, misfire, or have a major parts failure except on old black powder revolvers. The most I have ever experienced with revolvers is grips becoming loose or peeling.

    Interesting to see this.

  33. Turd Cutter on February 15, 2023 at 2:57 am

life or death situation… hold on a sec, my Taurus revolver jammed.🙄😂

  34. Bassmangotdbluz on February 15, 2023 at 2:57 am

If it’s not indexing correctly the timing is off and if it fires, could and most probably will throw slag out the sides which could injure you or others. Get it to a Gunsmith or return it if it’s new.

  35. Ken on February 15, 2023 at 2:57 am

I think it’s a little odd that you’re off camera when you’re shooting that. Makes you wonder.

  36. weege 5.45 on February 15, 2023 at 2:57 am

I had a judge with the shorter barrel and bobbed hammer, I forget what they called it. I only ever shot .410 out of it but on two of the cylinders the brass would bulge enough to wedge against the frame. Traded it for a Ruger SP-101.

  37. sjgavenger37 on February 15, 2023 at 2:58 am

If a person is 75 yards away it would be very hard to prove self defense.

  38. thorman944 on February 15, 2023 at 2:59 am

LMAO. The revolver has an advantage that you choose not to use. At 75 yards, only an idiot would not put the revolver into single action mode by cocking the hammer (even if taking incoming fire… especially if taking incoming fire…). And any revolver, if using strong loads, you make sure to turn twist the ejector (lefty-tighty, righty-loosey, due to the counterclockwise rotation of Smiths & Taurus) every couple of cylinders. Nice try at trying to be a ‘gun pro’ and doing nooby things.

  39. Jason Horne on February 15, 2023 at 2:59 am

It’s the shooter not the gun

  40. 11x33mm on February 15, 2023 at 2:59 am

No worries Taurus has a lifetime repair and replacement ! I’ve never had problem with Taurus weapons if I do I look forward to it because I do love a challenge ! I challenge the American public how do we deal with these pesky politicians the Liars the thieves the ones that jam us up that are killing us unjam that !!!

  41. Raymond Briscoe on February 15, 2023 at 3:00 am

Can’t compare a Taurus to a Ruger. Taurus doesn’t have anything with it, that is as good as a Ruger.

  42. Mark Beck on February 15, 2023 at 3:00 am

75 yards with a pistol lol ok bud

  43. Alaskan Ballistics on February 15, 2023 at 3:01 am

    Taurus sucks.

  44. Lucent Rathalos on February 15, 2023 at 3:02 am

i like revolvers alot, bit of fud cowboy hijinx i guess. Still a nice comparison. I mean, sights and shot pattern will be different between any firearm, so im not bothered that the revolver shot differently than the semi auto self loader. Skill is based on proficiency after all, bet this son of a gun would nail the steel easily after a few hours on that revolver, not saying much on my part however, took more than 100 rounds out of a RG’38spc revolver to hit a target at 50feet, but that was a year ago and now i can drop 6 on steel from 100yards in 8.4 seconds.
added edit: im my experience given its generic af..double action revolvers, often hit high left when doing double action. Call it fuddy puddy syndrome, but ive gotten dead center shots locking the hammer back before pulling the trigger( single actioning a double action like a fuddy cowboy) It works honestly, the whole wrenching the trigger back before the hammer falls already deteriorates accuracy, so why not lock the hammer back to reduce the struggle? i even hand a gunsmith reduce my action so it takes 5oz on the trigger to drop my hammer on my RG. Hair trigger on a hammer backed revolver, made a massive difference for my puny 38 accuracy just saying.
all my ranting aside..Though i like tarus alot, im peeve that our host had a malfunction. maybe i should take a class for gunsmithing since i earnestly think a revolver has 0 excuse to fail.

  45. James Blankenship on February 15, 2023 at 3:02 am

Say what you want, but everything Taurus make is trash. If you have a Taurus that actually works you bought a fluke

  46. Wulfhart94 on February 15, 2023 at 3:04 am

Send it back, they will fix it or replace it.

  47. Daniel Zimmerman on February 15, 2023 at 3:05 am

I’ve had this same thing happen to me! You cannot use mag tech 38 special with this pistol. The cylinder is too tight and those rounds are just a hair to big it will make your 856 stop revolving, use federal at the range.

  48. Samuel B on February 15, 2023 at 3:06 am

For anyone who tells you a revolver won’t malfunction, there you go. I’m not a big Taurus fan but the one I do have has been a champ. It’s a model 85 ultra light, 38 spcl. I’ve pumped at least 1,000 rds through it and it’s still going strong so Taurus can be hit or miss. Some run fine some aren’t worth a shit. S&W, Ruger, Kimber, Korth, and Colt are much better options.

  49. Edge on February 15, 2023 at 3:07 am

Friends do not let friends buy Taurus is a saying for a reason

  50. Blue Eyes White Dragon on February 15, 2023 at 3:07 am

The only time that a revolver ever jammed up on me was caused by a backed out or improperly seated primer.
Before blaming the weapon, check the ammo.
