In today’s episode of “I Carry,” we have the brand-new Smith & Wesson M&P 10 mm M2.0 pistol in a Tier 1 Concealed MSP Pro holster along with a SOG PowerAccess Assist multi-tool.
So, in case of these 10mm magazines, what would be the most appropriate mag carrier size for them? The one for 45 ACP magazines?
I carry Beretta storm full size 9mm. Full size G model. Loaded Hornady critical duty.
The Glock model 40 is also 10mm
Springfield XDM compact is another striker fire 10mm option. One issue that I have seen with this pistol is when firing hot loads it jams up. It might need a stronger recoil spring to fix this. I have seen two different people on video encounter this. Hopefully Smith & Wesson will look into this issue. Its great that Smith & Wesson is offering a 10mm. I would love to see them bring back some of the old 10mm pistols with upgrades like a rail.
Springfield has 5 polymer, striker-fired 10mm in their XD(M) series.

My understanding is that this pistol should fit in the same holsters that the M&P 45 uses as they share the same frame and slide dimensions.
I always enjoy your articles and I like my Smith M&P10mm. I also like Springfield’s XD 10mm compact so far. The M&P 10mm is pretty much the same externally as the M&P .45 and consequently fits many M&P 9mm holsters. I carry the 4” 10mm in the same blade tech nano IWB as my M&P 9mms. Thanks again for your reviews.
One correction, Springfield Armory has offered their excellent XDM, which is also polymer framed and striker fired, for a few years now, in 10mm.I have it in the 5.25” barrel version.
