Love this gun
Nice revolver. I have accumulated several in different barrel lengths, but not a 6 inch slab side. Since you have a hammer mounted firing pin, you may want to be extra careful and not carry it with a live round under the hammer. I had a friend that accidentally shot himself when he dropped it and the hammer hit and fired. The later revolvers had a transfer bar, which helped. The old colt single actions had same problem and were usually carried with 5 rounds.
Why not dry fire?
I’m open to opinions.
I just aquired on fairly cheap as my trap line gun
Is the barrel screwed or pressed into the frame?
Im 56 ang bought mine in early 80s for 65 dollars.mine has 6in flat wood grips.I love the click adjastable back sight
Thanks great video
Beauty, need to look at that holster company. I have a 999
Enjoyed your video. Mine is SN V 9848 just like yours except the holster has ( Red Head ) on the two buttons with a duck. On the back of the holster is 204 DB & under that is ( 6 ). A 16 year old boy would not think of keeping the receipt.
Would you have a model number stamped on that holster? Sure would like to find one, oh, and how do you spell the company name? Thanks
Beautiful firearm. That is a tool that will last a lifetime (or two). Take good care of it.
Scott
Be a good one on the trapline.
I like the flat look
What do you mean by you don’t want to dry fire it?
Nice!
Perfect .22 revolver!
