Up here in Tennessee, AR’s were going for $700-$800. A DPMS Panther was going for $750.. saw plenty of 9mm/223/7.62×39 ammo.
Pistol prices were crazy high. Glocks going for $600-$900.
Barely saw anyone buying AR’s this last gun show a few weeks ago, so I’m assuming everyone who wanted one has already purchased one.

Gun shows used to be like flea markets, you could find good buys and or barter and trade. Nowadays they are pretty much a waste of time. Racketeering anyone?

  6. deluxe05rrt on December 8, 2021 at 9:54 pm

i quit gun shows many years ago for the main reason they keep raising the entry price for deals that aren’t there anymore.

Haven’t gone to a gun show in years, mostly because of the INTERNET. That and the items at gun shows were the same ones as in the gun store only a little higher priced! There was a time that some pretty good deals could be had at gun shows but that time has passed looooooong ago. Besides that I am not going to take the time to go to such a show, pay to get in, waste my time and energy, then leave with either nothing or next to nothing!

All of America has been intellectually disabled by dishonest media, the Clinton machine, DNC machine, the Chinese Biden ticket, Zuckerberg, Dorsey, and the compromised and Weaponized public schools, publicly funded college establishment, national public radio NPR the list can go on and on. Let’s not forget the cheerleaders Jimmy Kimmel and Colbert. Wake up America get your news from outside of the United States there are great forces working against you. Do your own research. Use your intellect. We have responsibilities and one of the greatest responsibilities that we have is to make sure that our children have the opportunity to grow up in a fair and free United States of America. Many many men and women have sacrificed and gave all for the Constitution of United States and those who subscribe to it. God bless America.

It’s been almost a year and a half now since Upstate NY has had a gun show at the NYS Fairgrounds… Thanks to the restrictions of our dictator…I mean Governor has put in place…more or less a back door way to restrict our second amendment rights…man I’ve got to get out of NY…

  13. David Evans on December 8, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Support your local gun retailer. Gun shows are a scam.

  17. KSFWG on December 8, 2021 at 10:11 pm

Yes, sir, it’ll be a long time before I go to a gun show again. Going to a gun show is a P.I.T.A.

  22. Dean Seller on December 8, 2021 at 10:13 pm

There are no gun shows here I live in the communist state of Massachusetts , there has not been a gun show here since last January of 2020.

  23. xfirehurican on December 8, 2021 at 10:18 pm

Last decent show I went to was in 2001, right before 9/11, Chantilly, VA. Free admission with military ID.

  24. Kyle Johnson on December 8, 2021 at 10:18 pm

If AR-15’s aren’t selling how come they’ve gone up in price so much ?

  25. Gordon Martel on December 8, 2021 at 10:18 pm

Price gouging is just wrong and hurts us all, especially during times like these. There is an acute shortage of .38 and .380. It appears that pistols in those calibers are being bought in huge quantities. I have vendors and shop owners tell me they can’t keep snubbies and .380 autos in stock.

  26. Awe Min on December 8, 2021 at 10:20 pm

  28. Jon651 on December 8, 2021 at 10:20 pm

Our local gun shows are always scheduled on the weekends. Early on the first day there are quite a few people – all apparently looking for deals on ammunition. After people figure out (quickly) that there isn’t much around and get a look at the prices, it tapers down sharply for the rest of the time.

  29. hideouse blob on December 8, 2021 at 10:22 pm

At my local gun show there’s always this one dealer I go to first and he carries AR-15 parts in bulk , I usually see what his deals are because he has them, last time I went to him I bought a bunch of AR-15 parts for a really good deal, he had a bunch of parts he bought from the Remington going out of business auction , so yeah I got a really good deal

  30. vickie Stracener on December 8, 2021 at 10:23 pm

It’s amazing how things play out huh so they gave us toy guns as we were growing up and gave his guns as adults but we couldn’t hurt the follow man but we would shoot birds lizards rocks paper you got into practice now as we’re seeing this war unfold and what they have planned for us how they want to kill each and every one of us let’s turn all their machinery against them their guns turn it against them their life turn it against them their talk turn it against them you got to be careful because they keep flashing like the men in Black and you forget what the hell you’re talking about and then they try to convince you and make you believe what is happening so it stays in your mind they cut and spliced videos to get you to believe their narrative listen I walked it through today before I went to sleep cuz I was really f***** up it just messed me all up because it takes a lot of energy like you would not believe to see these things it’s a blink of an eye it’s like sucking air in and not even getting the full air and you have to see a whole picture of movie clip within half of a second that’s who I am that’s who you are but sometimes I have to help you because they snapped and snapped and snapped and you don’t even know it they put you back to sleep and every time they do as best as I can I will let you know and you can watch the the videos of it because it’s already been recorded it’s already been logged however you want to put it or think it it’s already done and you can see the proof yourself you don’t have to go through all videos in life although there’s billions and billions and Zillions

  31. Rick Intravia on December 8, 2021 at 10:24 pm

We live in occupied territory in CT. No gun shows….period! Enjoy the freedom you have. No AR sales here unless overpriced pre ban.

  32. Ragemutt on December 8, 2021 at 10:28 pm

In my area, gun shows used to be really good, but they’ve dramatically declined over the years. I’ve found that the prices are about twenty percent more than the local gun stores. I’ve seen used guns priced higher at my local gun show than the local gun stores are selling the same gun brand new. The selection is almost exclusively old hunting rifles, old shotguns, and old revolvers with a fair selection of well-used autos scattered about, usually worn out Glocks and 1911s. The few actual FFLs that show up(about three or four, just like you described) do have a decent selection of N.I.B. handguns and some rifles. About a third of the tables are books, gun parts, accessories, used gun magazines, military surplus gear, old ammunition, old reloading dies and presses and old reloading components, t-shirts, and various miscellaneous items pertaining to guns scattered throughout. Sometimes a knife maker will make a presence, along with someone selling cheap jewelry, DoTerra, hyper-expensive rain gutters, beef jerky, or jars of honey. There is usually one and sometimes two ammunition dealers that show up. Sometimes a guy will show up selling bullets and brass to reloaders. Most of the dealers are old, fat men who don’t have a clue about most of the junk on their table and certainly don’t know how to meet and greet. They’re rude and they don’t care about you unless you flash the cash. The gun shows that I see these days are a mere shell of their former glory. This has been going for years. The great gun shows of my youth are long gone. Your commentary in this video is right on.

  33. Kristine Jackson on December 8, 2021 at 10:29 pm

I find deals every time I go you just have to look for them and make offer and show the cash you can find reload ammo in hand gun caliber 18.00 for 50 rounds it shoots fine plus its fun thing to do on the weekend so go have fun and bye a gun for your collection

  34. Joelfred 121 on December 8, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Thanks, I think people probably have had there fill of AR’s. If you want one you probably have one

  35. Nasir Mahmood on December 8, 2021 at 10:33 pm

    fine work

  36. Bob Feller on December 8, 2021 at 10:33 pm

I might be contrarian and look for something different. Maybe a Remington Nylon 66, a Marlin model 39, or a Winchester gallery gun. But only if they were pristine.

  37. Jeff W on December 8, 2021 at 10:33 pm

I stocked up on ammo and reloading just in time, although I’m getting low on 9mm and primers I just quit shooting that round. My main carry guns are single action 1873s in 45Colt.
Saving my small primers for 357 snubbies. No bargain at gun shows anymore. If I ever do go it will be just out of curiosity not to seriously shop.

  39. Bob Bradley on December 8, 2021 at 10:35 pm

All I know is the guns I own now are much more valuable than when I purchased them. Problem is it’s hard to find how to sell them as many online resources don’t allow mention of guns. I could unload them at a gun store but it’s pennies on the dollar. I’m not that stupid.

  40. Larry In OKC on December 8, 2021 at 10:36 pm

Gun show prices are obscene in OKC. Case in point: Used Taurus G2C w/1mag and no box ~ $489! New guns selling for a minimum of $150-$200 over MSRP. It’s ridiculous. The sellers, both private & FFL are rude and unfriendly. As long as people are willing to get ripped off, the sellers are going to take advantage of it, and laugh all the way to the bank.

  41. Sgt Major Burton Truxel on December 8, 2021 at 10:36 pm

They’re like going to a One Horse, Pony show with AR-14′ and such .. col

  42. Just Greg on December 8, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Those 800 dollar sks’s that look like they have been drug behind a deuce and a half for 20 miles…..

  43. Sandra George on December 8, 2021 at 10:37 pm

Last gun show i went to in Sacramento was like 15 dollars just to park plus entrance fee. So i went and got a few box of ammo at my gun shop instead

  44. Blake Watson on December 8, 2021 at 10:38 pm

Gee thanks! Just realized I wasted purchasing tickets last night to the gun show today! 🤦‍♂️ maybe I’ll find some decent roasted nuts, accessories or even ammunition.

  45. Brayden Weaver on December 8, 2021 at 10:40 pm

They should be buying AR’s. Buy what is highest on the chopping block. Hold off on you revolvers, .22 pistols and sub compact handguns. They will be around for a while.

  46. Ronnie Franks on December 8, 2021 at 10:41 pm

Gun shows in Montgomery, Alabama haven’t had much to choose from in 5-6 years. It’s pitiful. I’ve stopped going since it’s not worth the price of admission.

  47. tumpoktae on December 8, 2021 at 10:42 pm

Live in So Cal, so what’s a gun show? I used to go to Del Mar however, I learned to use the Marine Exchange more and have better deals and fewer hassles.

  48. michael yucon on December 8, 2021 at 10:43 pm

Used to enjoy the gun shows the prices have become so inflated and way overpriced ammunition not worth going

  49. Russell Jackson on December 8, 2021 at 10:43 pm

    Right on

  50. Jeremy Keller on December 8, 2021 at 10:45 pm

The hottest gun that I know of was the WWII schnellfueur Mauser pistol (full automatic.) If it got really hot it would "cook", I.e., start firing without any human intervention.
