*Just FYI your comment on "how long it will last" is irrelevant since the Hi-point has a lifetime, any-owner fix it free warranty, and they occasionally send it back, repaired correctly with a complementary magazine. FAST TURN AROUND, no issue claims.* The only complaint, (and its generally not an issue after the 3rd or 4th time), is breaking it down to clean.

Since i started my AR collection with a budget gun,a PSA M4 carbine, i cant say anything bad about cheap guns. Obviously this isnt something id buy as a combat weapon however its not bad for the price to play around with. Not bad to maybe teach the kids to shoot or play with on the weekend. Again i wouldnt grab this if someone broke into my house but its not bad for plinking

  3. therover65 on November 1, 2021 at 9:51 pm

She’s left handed and also wearing gloves which explains why she couldn’t feel her hand depressing the mag release.

  4. shroom903 on November 1, 2021 at 9:51 pm

I’ve got an older 4095 i inherited "40 cal". I shoot left handed and never had a problem with dropping magazines. My trigger finger just naturally rides above the release. I had to get it out to see. I’ve fired a few hundred rounds through it without any problems. I barely clean it, it’s just not that important of a gun to me but it always runs

  5. Jamey's Channel on November 1, 2021 at 9:51 pm

    Great aim

  6. Steve Fisher on November 1, 2021 at 9:53 pm

It looks like her lefty status is pushing the mag release as she pulls the trigger

  7. James Wade on November 1, 2021 at 9:53 pm

I’m left handed and have never dropped a mag. Love my 995.

  8. Jeff Paul on November 1, 2021 at 9:54 pm

Could be she is shooting left handed. her left hand may be hitting the mag release. thats what it looked like to me anyway. have her shoot right handed and see if it happens.

  9. HeartlessHorseman420 on November 1, 2021 at 9:55 pm

i would strongly argue that the 10mm Hi Point carbine is the best pistol caliber carbine for the money. shoot one and be amazed and tell me you dont want to buy one for that price just for the heck of it.

  10. skip campbell on November 1, 2021 at 9:57 pm

to lock bolt push pull ,i have around 900 rounds through mine no failures.

  11. nomad photographer on November 1, 2021 at 9:58 pm

You should post the fact that the paper work states if you use a after market mag you totally void the lifetime warranty

  12. SGT WILDERNESS on November 1, 2021 at 9:59 pm

That dood can use some iron sights.

  13. Ray Ditzenberger on November 1, 2021 at 10:00 pm

They would sell a ton more if it took glock mags

  14. Jonathan Robinson on November 1, 2021 at 10:01 pm

    Looks cool tho

  15. Thomas Marked on November 1, 2021 at 10:03 pm

People shit on Hi-point all the time….that carbine is indestructible and as reliable as it gets…great firearm and Hi-point guarantees their stuff for life..👊🙏💯

  16. JC Denton on November 1, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Bought one of these and a Bersa, thunder pro 9 at the same time, The bersa didn’t last 2 years, the hi point is still going strong after 13 years of shooting. The rear sight of my Bersa fell out and got lost. You can’t buy this sight in the us, you have to travel to argentina to get one, been trying for 11 years, not possible. NEVER BUY A BERSA.

  17. Robert Pointer on November 1, 2021 at 10:06 pm

hit what you are shooting at on the first shots and you dont need hicapacity mags.

  18. Matt on November 1, 2021 at 10:08 pm

Guys please don’t but this gun. I had to do work on mine after 300 shots because it wouldn’t cycle rounds. Immediately got rid of it after I fixed it

  19. The Low Down With Lowhorn on November 1, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Flannel Daddy doesn’t approve…. His shit the bed in 100 rounds. I’d rather have a used maverick 88 for the money

  20. Dan L. on November 1, 2021 at 10:10 pm

Range toy? Maybe. You are better off wielding a baseball bat or butter knife during a home invasion than arming yourself with this plastic piece of garbage. I understand not everyone has a budget for high priced firearms, but trust me this is not the answer. I would be better off using mine as a club in an emergency situation

  21. Austin Wilson on November 1, 2021 at 10:10 pm

I have a 4095 and it has never caused me any issue

  22. Pineapple on November 1, 2021 at 10:11 pm

    Short answer, HELL NO!!!

  23. Berkle Death on November 1, 2021 at 10:11 pm

Lol keeps dropping the mag because it’s a right handed gun in a left hand where the mag release is

  24. Ted Mullaney on November 1, 2021 at 10:12 pm

I was thinking about getting one of these for fun, thanks to your wife I realized this is not for me because I am lefthanded.

  25. Rob Smith on November 1, 2021 at 10:12 pm

The mag release is on the left side and her finger is hitting it when she squeezes the trigger. It’s not a mag fault, it’s not a "lefty" rifle. Like all firearms you have to familiarize yourself with it and learn to operate it through it’s faults.

  26. Sebat Hadah on November 1, 2021 at 10:13 pm

I shot one of these things and…yeah no.
You get what you pay for.

  27. eric kinnett on November 1, 2021 at 10:13 pm

I don’t like this review you complain to much

  28. Clean Company Records on November 1, 2021 at 10:13 pm

    "Why not?" *Starts shooting 😂😂😂

  29. Tom Lathrop on November 1, 2021 at 10:14 pm

You have an awesome wife, lucky guy,

  30. Fugitive-Kitten on November 1, 2021 at 10:16 pm

This is a great gun. Got mines free from my sister in law. It’s not a ar 15 but it gets the job done and is accurate as hell for what it is. Hell I might fuck around and buy a 40 cal one.

  31. richard brady on November 1, 2021 at 10:20 pm

so sad when i encounter uneducated people like yourself, brag of getting past your hangover, to say gods name in vain on your video, do you have any sense at all? I urge you to reconcile yourself and get your life in order with Jesus, get baptized, do you know he’s coming in your lifetime? Don’t want to miss your moment with your Lord when he comes, Amen

  32. Independent Thinker on November 1, 2021 at 10:21 pm

I’m a lefties, but either way with a handgun

  33. Mark Martin on November 1, 2021 at 10:22 pm

I’ve have one of the original hi point 9mm carbine. It’s been dead on since removing it from the box. I’ve put WELL over 5000 rounds through it and only malfunctions with cheaper ammo. Love this old girl. Thinking about buying the new 995 for shits and giggles.

  34. marcos vazquez on November 1, 2021 at 10:23 pm

check the Garand thumb review on this carbine!!

  35. Ben H on November 1, 2021 at 10:24 pm

I can’t wait for the 1000 round review, you should also take a look at the high tower chassis that you can get. It bullpups the gun and makes it ambidextrous controls and look way nicer. It’s 250 so that does raise the price to about 600 total for the gun and chassis but I think it’s sweet

  36. Max Mustermann on November 1, 2021 at 10:25 pm

This gun is o unbelievable shit 😂

  37. gerald shearn on November 1, 2021 at 10:25 pm

I think she was riding the mag release.

  38. Michael on November 1, 2021 at 10:28 pm

Surprised you guys dont see she is hitting the release

  39. Gary Young on November 1, 2021 at 10:28 pm

I’ve watched several videos of you shooting the Hi Point 9MM Carbine. Have you tried/reviewed the .45 cal carbine? What do you think of it (if you have)?

  40. Florida Man on November 1, 2021 at 10:29 pm

I’m sitting here yelling at both of you that her hand is hitting the mag release. That was hilarious.

  41. Brad Campbell on November 1, 2021 at 10:29 pm

We need a 2 gum competition match. Hi point pistol and carbine. The shooter all YouTube gun channel guys. And hi point brings the gun’s. Everyone gets a new gun. One day break in, next day contest

  42. MaximGhost on November 1, 2021 at 10:33 pm

Test $275 Hi-Point and then a few months later, tests $5,000 Laugo Alien. Like a boss.

  43. Steven Tuck on November 1, 2021 at 10:33 pm

Why no factory made hicap mags??? COME ON, HIGH POINT! GIVE US SOME 30 ROUND MAGS! GEEZ!

  44. Andy Mullarx on November 1, 2021 at 10:33 pm

High point makes it possible for low income folks to afford guns to protect themselves and their families and they’re able to do it while employing American workers. Until and unless their guns don’t work I won’t be trashing them.

  45. Brad Chervel on November 1, 2021 at 10:39 pm

    Hipoint….movin up the ranks.

  46. Florida Man on November 1, 2021 at 10:41 pm

"The one thing you lose in the under $300 under $500 is long term durability." Ruger would like a word with you sir.

  47. Bad Tchad on November 1, 2021 at 10:44 pm

She’s pressing the mag release the way she’s holding the gun. Probably common for lefties.

  48. Israel Contreras on November 1, 2021 at 10:45 pm

This looks like a great weapon to get for my son…..and me lol

Is it just me? Or does that resemble the rebel assault rifles for rebel troops on Star Wars?

  49. Kevin Cohan on November 1, 2021 at 10:47 pm

I know this was designed during the black rifle scary ban but if it had a double stack mag it’d be much more inviting

  50. Donald Nichols on November 1, 2021 at 10:48 pm

The only problem I have ever had with High Point was the mag, never had a problem with the weapon itself
