    G’day mate

Just in relation to your question about firearms in the given countries you mentioned, well I’m from Queensland Australia.

Gun laws here are quite strict, though we still have free range to buy rim fire and centre fire rifles, though every shooter must be licensed to acquire an adult shooters  license you must sit a theory and practical long arms and or concealed course for Hand guns, after that you must be a member and stay a member of a shooting club, after that is said and done this has cost you about $350-400. you then have a wait time of anywhere from 1-6 months wait to get the license in your hand.

Once you have the licence you can go and select your first fire arm, once you have done that you have to fill out a PTA (Permit to acquire) and wait 30 days for your first firearm, after the first brokerage is done you can aquire firearms as soon as the PTA arrives. Unlike america EVERY firearm that are acquired by licensed shooters must be registered.

Now what we can’t have with out exceptional reasoning are, semi auto rim fire, semi auto centre fire, pump action shot guns (though pump action rifles are..make sense of that), full auto rifles or machine guns, grenades, RPG nor a firearm chambered in 50.BMG

you can acquire some of the above mentioned firearms in circumstances like if you are a professional pest controller you can get a Semi auto centrefire or you can get a rimfire if you have a disability if you can’t operate a bolt action. When it comes to the rest generally it doesnt happen at all though if you are lucky enough to get a full auto rifle or a machine gun, when ever it is in transit you must have a GPS tracker with you at all times.

To wrap this up ill end with the categories fire arms fall under Just go to this link

Please go to the website and recheck your prices. By the time you get it back a new barrel will run $200.

I have the same gun but I only have the .410 for mine, I wish I had the .30-30 and the 20 gauge.

I inherited mine from my dad, but you can probably find them on line or your local gun shop could most likely get them for you. I don’t think they are rare or anything. Good Luck! 🙂

I believe so, but the forearm just pulls away on mine. there is a mechanism that stays on it that releases from the barrel. I can’t say if it’s the same on yours though. 🙂

The fitting is $25, $19 shipping just like I said. If anyone thought "fitting" meant buying a new barrel PLUS fitting it… I didn’t think my statement was ambiguous, but if you like your action, and just want another barrel/caliber option, the factory is the only safe way. It’s still cheaper than a new gun.

    Hope it helps someone 🙂

You need to ship it to H&R to have a factory barrel fitted to your action, otherwise you could have a VERY UNSAFE firearm that isn’t properly headspaced. The barrels themselves aren’t very expensive and there are tons of options. It’s $25 for each barrel you get fitted.
