Also on the personalities front, prayers go out to Larry Vickers and wishing him a speedy recovery

  1. Margie Oakes on November 27, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Put a CZ 75 P-01 in your hands and you will never ever have a question about the quality of CZ handguns again!!

  2. John Leahu on November 27, 2021 at 8:52 pm

CZ/Colt is a great marriage!! They are liable to produce very good guns!!

  3. Krumple on November 27, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Love my CZs and I have 15 or so. Can’t think of anyone that would be a better caretaker of the "Colt" brand.

  4. Steve H on November 27, 2021 at 8:52 pm

Just think of the bragging rights of their pedigree now.
We all know of Colts pedigree and of the 1911 most copied gun in the world and now joined with CZ one of the biggest oldest companies in the world with the second most copied gun in the world the CZ 75.

As far as I’m concerned CZ is the top dog now.
Cz-75 Colt 1911 Dan Wesson 357 and more. That is one hell of a pedigree and that is just the handguns.

  5. Baroofy on November 27, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Nothing against CZ, but really? Another American icon sold to a foreign buyer, isn’t anything sacred anymore? Well, at least it wasn’t China.

  6. Rafael Madrigal on November 27, 2021 at 8:54 pm

Colts are way over priced. They are outside my range.

  7. Huskies Go on November 27, 2021 at 8:57 pm

Not US, but at least a gun company.

  8. Carl Pallini on November 27, 2021 at 8:59 pm

good news, CZ is a good company and Colt could use the help to make the turnaround recently begun to take full hold.

  9. William Gunnarsson on November 27, 2021 at 9:01 pm

The union destroyed Colt. Priced them out of the mainstream. How many formerly US firearms manufacturers are now in foreign hands. Are there any left ?

  10. Troy Ortega on November 27, 2021 at 9:01 pm

I certainly hope that CZ can straighten out Colt. I hear the QC on their new Cobras and King Cobras is not that great. They had peoblems in the past too- my 1993 vintage LW Commander’s barrel was visibly not fit evenly to the slide, side to side. In 93 or 94 i saw a Gold Cup polished stainless in the shop where i worked that was smoothbore. Flagship gun, and the barrel made it past inspection, finishing, final assembly, AND TEST FIRING with no rifling! Incredible, and rather sickening. Needless to say, it was sent back immediately. Strange but true. Prayers for LAV- hope he recovers quickly and well.

  11. Ken Gunnett on November 27, 2021 at 9:03 pm

Colt, the people who had the plans and rights to the AR-10 and did nothing with them. CZ needs to get rid of all Colts management.

  12. Captain Skippy on November 27, 2021 at 9:03 pm

CZ will probably improve the Colt products. I am a manager at a gun shop and range and the colts we get in now are pitiful as a whole. Quality control and machining are subpar. I wouldn’t buy a current colt.

  13. Joseph Weeks on November 27, 2021 at 9:04 pm

Best news for gun buyers of colt in years

  14. Cool Daddy on November 27, 2021 at 9:05 pm

CZ is quality,,, they’ll reform Colt

  15. Larry Scarpa on November 27, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Stand for the national anthem. Watch Sam Morrison Band music video "I will always stand" on YouTube.

  16. Dominic DeCaro on November 27, 2021 at 9:07 pm

    Pretty cool

  17. Jeffery Jackson on November 27, 2021 at 9:08 pm

CZ-USA is building a plant in Little Rock Arkansas to start manufacturing their firearms in the US.

  18. John McGraw on November 27, 2021 at 9:13 pm

CZ are very nice quality firearms, Colt should be in good hands.

  19. Sonny Gunz on November 27, 2021 at 9:13 pm

Not LV. F*ck cancer. 1 in 3. Yet nobody makes a big deal about it. That’s the national emergency. Larry is a national treasure. I wish him the best.

  20. Eric Ohop on November 27, 2021 at 9:15 pm

Worked there for years , what a shit show

  21. Mark Briehl on November 27, 2021 at 9:15 pm

Colt should be held accountable for being a treason committing sellout under the US CONSTITUTION " COLT WALKER "

  22. onmilo on November 27, 2021 at 9:17 pm

So, Remington introduces a shitty clone of a shitty designed pistol, goes bankrupt. Colt reintroduces a totally shitty clone of what was an excellent revolver. Sells business to CZ…

  23. Qingeaton on November 27, 2021 at 9:17 pm

When I went out looking for a new 1911, Colt did not make the cut.
Went with a Sig and am quite happy with the quality.
CZ is an excellent company, so high hopes here!

  24. Arthur Devain on November 27, 2021 at 9:17 pm

When the name "Colt" is on a firearm it tells you two things: 1) it will be High Quality (the recent hiccup with the new Python notwithstanding), and 2) it will be VERY expensive.

  25. T30 on November 27, 2021 at 9:18 pm

I have two Dan Wesson CZ 1911s and I believe they’re among the best 1911s out there. I also have a Les Baer 1911 and while that’s a fine pistol the Dan Wessons lock up just as well and shoot just as good for a fraction of the price. Hard to beat quality for a production gun.

  26. TalkingGIJoe on November 27, 2021 at 9:19 pm

CZ rules… a good deal for us!

  27. Jay Bailleaux on November 27, 2021 at 9:19 pm

Love CZ . Bring back the Colt Lighting pump or a variant of it. Love on in 357 mag . Or a box magazine version in 7.62×39.

  28. Zero-G on November 27, 2021 at 9:20 pm

This is a damn shame. Japanese never let foreigners take over their cherished brands. Look at Infiniti/Nissan, and what they did to their CEO when he tried to give Renault full control. They literally locked him in solitary confinement!

It’s bad for America to have our major brands go into foreign hands. And what General Keyes did to Colt was downright treason.

  29. Don Jose Gomburza on November 27, 2021 at 9:21 pm

2nd amendment is doomed because of those rioters who stormed the Capitol. Now those law abiding citizens will suffer. Surprise surprise hello

  30. LeftThumbBreak on November 27, 2021 at 9:21 pm

It’s great from a product standpoint but I am a little sad to see what is historically THE American gun company, no longer owned domestically. I just hope they don’t go the way of Winchester and become just a brand.

  31. Han Uman on November 27, 2021 at 9:23 pm

The destruction of once great and successful American brands is a side effect of the financial looting by the billionaire robber barons, their bankster buddies and their political lackeys who enable their fiscal graft and theft. They will begger the world unless they are stopped. I don’t think we will stop them though, we’re just not organized or informed.

  32. Mark Anton on November 27, 2021 at 9:24 pm

I think the biggest reason this went through the purchase is his Colt owns the TDP ( technical data package) manuals for the m16s and AR-15s. All other manufacturers of these rifles should be and usually are paying some sort of residual to colt. Nobody ever talks about that……. CZ now owns the rights so they don’t have to pay anybody shit to make their ARs and M16 and M4’s, etc.

  33. hudson riley on November 27, 2021 at 9:24 pm

Every one says that cz buying up American icons is great. But I totally disagree with this. I am a 40 year colt collector. If a gun doesn’t have a connection through heritage it’s not of the same meaning of for say in this case Samuel colt. It destroys piece by piece the heritage of the manufacture. American people are hungry for our history. Why do the gatekeepers continue to allow this? Are they to lazy or not well minded enough to take what was given to them and carry on? It’s a true shame!!! At least ruger picked up marlin. This is a disgrace for America. Now we have Remington to be concerned about. These foreign companies will pack up and take the history with them.

  34. Mark Briehl on November 27, 2021 at 9:26 pm

Colt is nothing but a treason committing sell out.

  35. nonya biz on November 27, 2021 at 9:27 pm

I switched from Colt to Dan Wessons a few years ago and none other than CZ owns Dan Wesson so hopefully they will make a better Colt than Colt did.

  36. T D on November 27, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Contact one of our most important members of Congress who agrees that people should be able to express themselves the way our forefathers had intended JOE MANCHI https:www manchin Senate gov.. one who still walks with integrity and respect for our forefathers and what they have written,……. What are the restrictions of the second amendment? Denied 3:19 U S770(1943) the court upholding a similar provision of the federal firearms act said"Apparently, then, under the second amendment the federal government can limit the keeping and bearing of Arms by a single individual as well as by a group of individuals but cannot prohibit The possession….. PLEASE LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD NOW IT IS CRITICAL!!!!! GOD BLESS MY FELLOW AMERICANS

  37. american joe on November 27, 2021 at 9:29 pm

Our military put Colt in the dust when they adopted that stupid ass 92 and started buying their guns overseas,,,,,stupid to the enth degree!!!!!!!!!!!

  38. Mark Adams on November 27, 2021 at 9:33 pm

Wahoo! Bring’em on! CzColt! Love it!! Great vid, Ty.

  40. Nikisha Bibbins on November 27, 2021 at 9:35 pm

I can’t wait for the dwx to hit the market.

  41. Haldor Asgirson on November 27, 2021 at 9:38 pm

How long till we see a Colt Python? Dan Wesson could definitely make these to very high standards.

  42. Ur_AsianMilfoil on November 27, 2021 at 9:39 pm

Cz bought Colt!!! OMG colt just became one of my favorite… CZ ftw and Remington is expensive Garbage 🗑 lol 😆

  43. Life Is Good on November 27, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Great, buying American guns from Europe is like buying a Ford made in Mexico….it’s an import and kinda not 🤔 and it might break and maybe not 😂

  44. Hans Grueber on November 27, 2021 at 9:44 pm

  45. Dr. Hugo G. Hackenbush on November 27, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Good. Now CZ just has to being back the 550 American with the full-legnth magnum action for large chamberings.

  46. Michael Ochampaugh on November 27, 2021 at 9:46 pm

Colt is not a refertable company for anything except Military weapons.

  47. gary K on November 27, 2021 at 9:47 pm

Best news is that Colt will finally, again, be owned by a company that actually makes guns.

  48. Ken Gunnett on November 27, 2021 at 9:49 pm

Colt needs to stick with Peacemakers, AR-15s and 1911’s. But I must admit that I would love a Diamondback in .22 LR that wasn’t $1,000+

  49. Midas Downtown on November 27, 2021 at 9:50 pm

Actually thi acquisition lets CZ enter US as an American manufacterer and not have to develop a completely new company from whole cloth like Glock had to

  50. Den S on November 27, 2021 at 9:51 pm

CZ and Colt worked together back in the late ’90s to manufacture the Colt Z40 (aka CZ-40, a few differences)
So this will be a good thing, on multiple levels
