The purpose of the video is excellent, if you consider size vrs rounds capacity no one wants to carry big guns..glock is manageable but in certain environments you need something more discret …excellent

  2. elitemav on December 7, 2021 at 10:49 pm

Wow that m&p 9 compact is pretty small . I have the 45 compact and the size is about the same as a g19 with a nice full grip.

Love my S&W M&P’s and my Glocks. There’s room for all of them for me. But I tend to shoot my M&P more accurately with regard to consistent tight grouping. I attribute that to the M&P’s feeling better in my hand.

    Why

  5. Bubba on December 7, 2021 at 10:56 pm

where do you sit your camera when filming?

  6. Jimmy Ballog on December 7, 2021 at 10:56 pm

it might be the sight radius. the glock is slightly longer and even that miniscule amount might give you a better aim index. great video man!!

  7. GA08GT on December 7, 2021 at 10:56 pm

Good review!! Which one would you recommend for first time buyer?

  8. Revolver Den on December 7, 2021 at 10:58 pm

As you eluded to early on in the video, the M&P9 C is more on par with the Glock 26 than the G19 effecting any grip comparison between the G19 and the M&P9C….

  9. Albee 45 on December 7, 2021 at 10:59 pm

Appreciate ya. Thanks for subbing and watching.

  10. GA08GT on December 7, 2021 at 11:00 pm

Would the full size M&P 9 be too large to conceal? I really prefer the S&W over the Glock but I prefer the full sized grip vs the 9C.

  11. DM on December 7, 2021 at 11:01 pm

I have both and many others, love the M&P 9c, great all around gun. The 19 is just ok. My CCW is a Glock 26, not sure why the Glock 19 is so popular.

  12. Eli R on December 7, 2021 at 11:02 pm

Good comparison and video. I have the gen 4 19 and 17. I also have a m&p 9c and full size. The full size m&p is my favorite handgun, that being said I always find myself going back to the g19 for CCW. The 9c is an excellent choice for CCW as well, something about wanting to replace the 19 with the new glock killer of the day and than reaching in the safe and shooting that damn gun and coming to the realization that you should stop trying to replace what really works well. FYI this is my second g19. I sold the first one.

  13. Frank The Tank on December 7, 2021 at 11:02 pm

It doesn’t matter what they call compact and sub-compact. The overall size of the m&p compact is closer to the 26. S&W does not make an m&p similar in size to the Glock 19.

  14. Hill Shepherd on December 7, 2021 at 11:02 pm

    MNP9C in 357 sig..

  15. Trent Stuckey on December 7, 2021 at 11:05 pm

I’ve had almost every model of glock at one poit in time. I only ever had one s&w and it was the m&p9c. I sold it to buy my glock 19 that I still have. The M&P was a really soft shooter and shot accurate enough for a defense weapon. The glock on the other hand I shoot a little more accurate and holds 3 more rounds. Plus I’m a big guy, so I can easily hide the extra size IWB. Good video though. Keep them coming! I don’t think you can go wrong with either. The number of police I see carrying the M&P line now is amazing. It says something when so many departments trust good ol’ smith and wesson again.

  17. smokeymountainrain on December 7, 2021 at 11:07 pm

How bout a Glock 26 vs M&P 9c? Theres a 12+2 mag for the 26, with a place for ur pinky, and u can use a Glock 19 mag with a spacer that extends the grip to 19 size too, which is why I feel like a Glock 26 is the king of versatility, with that durable dependable Glock reputation up behind it too, arguably the best carry gun ever( there needs to be at least 12 rnds in a carry gun in my mind), and having a higher capacity mag is good insurance in case of an emergency like a multiple shooter situation, its rare to be in that situation, but as long as its possible, and a man wants to carry, its his responsibility to protect innocents and himself, and he should always be ready for whatever.

  18. Albee 45 on December 7, 2021 at 11:09 pm

Me to. I have gotten use to no pinky rest, but prefer the rest. Thanks

  19. Perry Kirby on December 7, 2021 at 11:10 pm

    Glock ain’t shit lol

  20. IrishLegacy14 on December 7, 2021 at 11:12 pm

does anyone have the M&P 9c and removed their thumb safety? ill be happy to buy it from you. IM me

  21. Roger Perez on December 7, 2021 at 11:12 pm

I bet that 1.5 ounces on the M&P is from the metal 3 dot sights… Glock factory sights are plastic

  22. marksman9939 on December 7, 2021 at 11:13 pm

Great video. I got a lot from your review.

  23. Albee 45 on December 7, 2021 at 11:14 pm

Could be. I have no explanation. They both are great. Thanks for watching.

  24. Charles Marshall on December 7, 2021 at 11:16 pm

Both are great guns. Both are very reliable. The Glock will never match the ergonomics of a pistol with an 18 degree grip angle. The 9C with an Apex flat trigger kit installed is a much better shooter than the Glock. If you compare felt recoil the higher slide mass(intentionally designed in) on the M&P has less felt recoil. I prefer a thumb safety on a carry gun, but the 1911 sized dual safety setup on the M&P must be modified for my carry gun by removing the left handed safety and reducing the right handed safety down to the size of the one on a Shield.

  25. Carlos Gomez Goncalves on December 7, 2021 at 11:16 pm

    26 = Sub-Compact . 19 Compact and M&P Compact = Fucking Compact : )

  26. grady on December 7, 2021 at 11:17 pm

You like everybody else who has the device that measures trigger pull should get your money back. One of the all time most inaccurate things I know of.

  27. Albee 45 on December 7, 2021 at 11:18 pm

    Thanks Tom.

  28. Albee 45 on December 7, 2021 at 11:19 pm

    I would say the same.

  29. jzenone on December 7, 2021 at 11:20 pm

Hey Albee4ty5 do you still own the 9c or did you sell it and kepp the 19

  30. Warren O'Bannon on December 7, 2021 at 11:21 pm

This shoulda been glock 26 vs m&p 9

  31. extra .innings on December 7, 2021 at 11:21 pm

    Great video:)

  32. n300zx931 on December 7, 2021 at 11:26 pm

I’ve owned XD, M&P, and Glock. In order it’s Glock, Xd, and last M&P multiple failures from the M&P I owned. Very low quality pistol. The Glock has been perfection. I have the 23 and its the perfect pistol. Excellent trigger, design, and accuracy. Could not ask for more from a pistol I so wanted to hate.

  33. Weapons Education on December 7, 2021 at 11:27 pm

    Nice comparison, thanks

  34. SAGI NEHOR on December 7, 2021 at 11:29 pm

I also have reviewed my girlfriends on the table. both of them

  35. Hans Hansen on December 7, 2021 at 11:29 pm

yeah but my first thought too was that the 19 is the compact version of the 17 so this comparison seems legit

  36. Mr Sriracha on December 7, 2021 at 11:29 pm

I love Glocks but hate the finger grooves. My fingers never fit in the grooves and I find my fingers riding on top of the ridges instead of in the grooves (just like yours did in this video at 3:03). Just ordered a new M&P 9c and I’m going to give them (M&P line) a try.

  37. Miles-From-Home on December 7, 2021 at 11:33 pm

wow, you just compared different sized guns, it should be the g26 vs. m&p9c to be fair….just sayin….this was glock biased from the start.

  38. Kevv TheWinner on December 7, 2021 at 11:34 pm

I love your review and comparison with the two and I’ll have to agree with you I felt both of them in hand and I like the glock 19 better even though the m&p gives off more slick design

  39. Blake Jordan on December 7, 2021 at 11:35 pm

Only had the Glock a few weeks and you already a fan boy .

  40. Rull Mourn on December 7, 2021 at 11:35 pm

glock a glock fanboys are over priced for what you get. they could at least put steel sights and guide rods on them for the price they charge.i have a M&P9c and its great.this guy says the M&P is top heavy? he’s nuts and a G fanboy.

  41. TheCONtwo on December 7, 2021 at 11:36 pm

ll stuck between both im not a glock fan boy but i do like the size of the 19 and capacity but i hate that there is no manual safety on it and it worries me for carry

  42. gene peterson on December 7, 2021 at 11:38 pm

    lol love handles

  43. Nicholas Reese on December 7, 2021 at 11:41 pm

the glock 19 is the perfect size in my opinion (if your fingers fit in the finger grooves anyway) They should make next gen without grooves and undercut trigger guard a little. it would be a lot more comfortable for a lot more people with just those two simple alterations

  44. Phil on December 7, 2021 at 11:41 pm

Picked the 9c over the G19…without that external safety of course. Both are extremely reliable pistols for about the same amount of cash, but I picked the Smith because of the aesthetics –  JMO of course.

  45. cali818 xxx on December 7, 2021 at 11:42 pm

a friend let me shoot his g19. it was my first time to shoot a pistol but i feel it is easier to shoot compared to my .177 co2 M&P LOL…. if im going to buy a gun now the g19 is good enough for me….except the spent casing hit my head few times….and it would be nice if the slide is ss so not to worry about getting scratches

  46. 4l3x1s4w50m3 on December 7, 2021 at 11:43 pm

With the PINKY extension the m&p9c handle was not "shorter" than the Glock 19’s?

  47. 808 on December 7, 2021 at 11:44 pm

which do you think conceals better?

  48. T AN on December 7, 2021 at 11:44 pm

I’m just not sure about the handle on the 9c, doesn’t make any sense that four fingers don’t fit unless you put the pinky clip on…

  49. Mike Jones on December 7, 2021 at 11:44 pm

Great review. Looking to purchase one or the other in the next few weeks. Thanks again!

  50. cali818 xxx on December 7, 2021 at 11:46 pm

did you experience the spent casing hitting your face while shooting the glock 19?
