Glock 19 vs M&P vs Sig 320: Who's Champ?
Glock 19 vs M&P vs Sig 320: Who's Champ?
I would consider Glocks, Sig 320’s, and Smith & Wesson M&P’s to be the 3 leading names in the polymer pistol space. Yes, there are other options from Springfield, Walther, CZ, etc…….but these three I rank as the top 3 in popularity. So what’s the best out of the box compact polymer gun, the Glock 19, M&P 2.0 compact, or the Sig 320?

Did the p320 fire after racking ??
My had had the M&P and Shield and I loved them, I ended moving away and got the chance to hold a P320C (the one I now own) and It felt so much better in my hand. Never touched a Glock so I cant say. I like both tbh, but the P320 just feels better since I can do more than just change some straps. The modularity kinda won me over because I have like 4 set ups for my one gun for multiple calibers. I have different slides, grip modules, barrels. It’s like adult legos lol that being said, I wouldn’t turn down and M&P if I had the opportunity to buy one. I threw my xcarry slide on an xcompact frame. Fixed the long grip. Just carry an extra extended mag. I set it up differently for different things. For me it’s easier than having a bunch of separate guns. And at this point, if I wanted another p320, id just get and 80% and jig then put it in one if me extra frames with the other parts I have laying around.
great vid!!! been watching youtube on all different type of handguns looking to buy my first gun just got my permit in nc its burning a hole in my pocket lol smh my mind is fried lol but I’ve learned a hell of a lot that I didn’t know about guns before but after doing MY research and seeing whats out there im going Glock 19 gen 5 fs upgrade the sites to trijicon hd xr get some rubberized talon grips and start learning my new baby practice practice and more practice I don’t plan on doing much to it yet until I have a son so I can give it to him etc since its my first piece and I plan on keeping it as a symbol
Smith is killin it!
Sig p320. How could you not love the ability to actually take out the FCU easily and clean every bit of the gun with ease.
Should have compared the P320 X compact.
#1 Sig P320 x compact
#2 Glock 19
#3 S&W M &P
One size does not fit all. The G19 seems to fit the most, most often. The military may have gone SIG M17/M18, but many in the military who had G19s want to keep them and get more, not transition. The Air Force OSI for example has rejected the M17/M18 and will replace their SIG M11s with G19/26. The USCG decided to go Glock, along with CBP. Lots of good guns out there, but as a friend said it still seems "all roads lead to the G19…"

Quality 1911 for the win!
We already know you don’t like 320 so be a biased video lol
I honestly don’t like Glock. Very reliable but other then that I hate Glocks. I’ll take a 320 over the Glock and m&p
Why do you wear your watch like that? It’s uncomfortable and weird.
Modularity seems like a good idea, but usually isn’t. It’s a product developed by group think. The problem is it adds weight, space, and doesn’t allow for creativity.
I was a long time Glock 19 carrier but I never quite got comfortable with the grip angle, the brass to face with the Gen 4 or the finger groves. When the M&P 2.0 Compact came out I bought one then sold my Glocks as it fixed everything I didn’t like about the 19. The P320.. that bore axis and it’s chonky. I can’t get over that it’s a P250 they converted to a striker fired and then lied and claimed it was an all original design. They then had the problems with going off and the internal safeties are dubious, I much prefer the partially cocked safe action of the Glock and the M&P over a striker fired gun with no trigger safety that’s fully cocked at all times.
Self Defense: Glock 19.
Fun Guns: 1911 and CZ’s.
Good point about which guns do or don’t need an aftermarket, but I feel that there was one consideration you didn’t bring to the table in that part of the discussion. The SIG system was adopted by the US government, and that guarantees that its user base will steadily grow. It’s LEGO gunsmithing like an AR as well. Considering both of those facts, before long the market for those parts is going to eclipse the Glock market imho.
I think the trigger of the m&p is shit🙈.
Just buy the glock 19 gen 5. The grip is much better than the gen 4.
My M&P 2.0 Compact mated with a Holosun is by far my favorite I’ve owned or fired. I have a video on my channel if you wanna check it out. Seriously 25 yards all less than center mass.
Own one of each all great options
Balls
LOVE SIG! HATE GLOCK
Age 21. Love my glock gen 5. I kind of want to get to know other guns aswell. I also had a glock 43 before selling it for the 19. Love both of em. I have pretty large hands so i do love the backstrap options to through on it!
I like how he handled the criticism at 2:59 😂💯
Sig p320 all the way
Thanks to Glock for creating what is the best pistol platform of the modern era. Thanks to SW for improving it. M&P.
Lol Dude your funny as fuck🤭😂😂😂😂 great video🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾
Where are his legs?
I actually like the M&P sights. I mean they’re all steel 3 dot sights…Not much to hate there. They don’t glow in the dark but in normal seeing conditions those sights work great in my opinion..
Like the commercial.
You forgot that if you crack the m&p or glock, you’re going to have to get a whole new serialized frame
Ouch I’m team SIG..at the back of the bus😂
Welp, I started to watch, but made only 3:32 in.
low class with the language. I clicked on your video to learn something but have no use for your attitude and lack of class.
I have always been an M&P fan but looked at the 19 and the 320x compact when I bought my last carry pistol. I was just not impressed with either enough to switch even though both are very good. I ended up going with the 2.0 compact optic ready version in 9 and totally love it. I will say I wasn’t as impressed with the feel of the trigger out of the box as it was gritty, but will smooth up the more it’s shot and I don’t obsess over triggers on a carry pistol as much.
#thumbs
Picture of the Glock in the thumbnail must have been taken from a mirror
I have all three and really don’t like Sig striker guns or Sig as company anymore. I favor the M&P for full sized and G19 for CCW.
I don’t own and care to own glocks and sold my p320c and xc Added a couple 2.0 m&p’s to the older models .
The list of things I like about all 3 is way longer than the list of what I dislike. I dislike that the Sig is prone to over insertion damage that can’t be repaired (the ejector is part of the chassis), I dislike that the M&P can’t be detail stripped without removing the sights, and I dislike that the Glock has a trigger tab safety that kills my finger after a while, though a little sanding can fix that. Out of the 3 I choose Glock. Can’t go wrong with nearly 40 years of backwards magazine compatibility at $20 a piece.
mp all day. a tank
Not long ago I purchased a Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS. It is the only firearm that I have regretted purchasing and will be the first gun I have sold off. Trigger is painful (trigger safety) and the grip is like gripping a 2×4 regardless of the backstrap. Was surprised about the score on the 320. I liked the feel of the M17 and thought the trigger was pretty decent for a service pistol. Miles better than the Glock trigger.
I prefer Sig on Glock; m&p will be the least
Have the M&P and M18. Was carrying the M18 with Tlr-1 Hl but find it to heavy and bulky. Just put Trijicon sights and an apex trigger in the M&P and it is now my carry gun.
Glock 19= Toyota
Shut the F up that never happened🤣🤣🤣😔 I watched it like 3 times
Sig pistol’s are over rated for me. They just feel clunky
Good job with the black gun on a black backdrop…for future videos, don’t even bother holding up the guns, we can use our imagination….again. As for the important things like how they fire and handle, once again, we can use our imagination. That said, the silver lining would be the strategic overuse of profanities to appeal to the tough hipster crowd. Make some car comparisons in the future, that way we can base our decisions on glove box handles and standard floor mats. Peace…
The issue with the M&P is the inconsistent accuracy beyond 25 yards. Too many reports of guns shooting patterns instead of groups at 25 yards. Gen 5 Glocks don’t suffer from this.
Out of the three I found the sig trigger to be the best out of the box. At least once broken in.
What are your thought on the optic ready shield plus?
